Leaving the corpse behind, I ventured through the broken door into the cabin.
Of course, Viola was staying behind for now.
“Lady Viola, please stay here first. I will inspect the place to determine any more foes.”
“I understand.”
If anymore beasts like the previous one appear, I may be in some trouble.
Fortunately, this area is quite narrow so I should be able to face them one at a time.
I drew my sword and advanced cautiously.
When I first entered, I found the room relatively empty.
There were some chairs and tables as well as stairs above to the second floor and stairs down to the basement. If I remember correctly, the basement is where weapons were kept.
There’s no foes present in the first floor.
If I remember the layout of the cabin, the second floor has rooms where you can sleep while the basement is a wide area where weapons of all sorts were organized.
Since I’m merely checking the place out, I should first head upstairs.
Upon reaching the top, I spot a wooden door.
I pause.
Recalling the previous event wherein I tried to open a door and got attacked, it would be in my best interest to take some measures to prevent any mishap.
I drew my sword in one hand and slowly opened the door.
*Creak*
The door slowly creaked as I opened it.
I gently pushed it…
*Bam!*
Then pushed It hard, slamming the door towards the wall very hard.
I rushed in to cut apart any creature.
However…
“There’s no one here.”
Upon entering, I find a wide room with a large mattress in the middle.
There’s a few wardrobes and drawers here.
The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
I looked up and searched with my eyes but no.
There’s nothing here.
The room is decorated to look very cozy.
The bed should be soft and with a lot of pillows and a large blanket.
This is an ordinary room.
Perhaps I should ask Viola to sleep here.
I should search this room but I must check the basement first.
Relieved to find the room safe, I slowly walked down to the first floor.
After a few minutes, I arrived there and proceeded to the basement.
Upon entering the basement, I found it to be very dark.
Fortunately, I find a torch near the stair case and lighted it up.
To my surprise, I find the basement to be filled with several armors and weapons.
There are leather armors, robes, and various metal armors.
Among them, stacked in a pile were various weapons.
Unfortunately, majority of them are rusted but there should be some weapons left.
There are no creatures lurking here.
I should return to Viola soon.
But before that…
I went ahead and searched a bit.
Fortunately, I found what I need.
A bow with a few dozen quivers.
It was a wooden bow and may indeed be aged, but it’s still usable.
“Now, I’ll go then.”
I exited the basement to see Viola.

I've been updating regularly for a good while now... That's pretty great of me right? By the way, here's a trivia. Don't you know? The Canadian spell Armor as Armour. The American spelling is to remove the "u". They're both right but since I'm used to American English, I'll stick with just Armory. It's a really trivial difference right?
