No!

We’re in a serious crisis.

Viola was surrounded by wolves.

If she doesn’t receive any help fast, she’ll perish immediately.

And I was pinned to the ground by their leader.

If I don’t do something, we’ll both perish!

“No! Get off me you beast!”

I screamed.

I struggled fiercely.

The wolf only snarled and despite its appearance, I began to see it smile.

It was laughing?

Suddenly, I felt a dark power as anger swelled at me.

“Cur…”

I muttered in a tone filled with bloodlust.

I felt overwhelming hatred as a dark glow enveloped my body.

“CUR! CUR! CUR! CUR! CUR! HOW DARE YOU!!!!”

I let out a furious scream and the dark power shone brightly, repelling the beast.

I felt a great thirst for blood and desired to kill it.

I drew my sword and darkness began to flow.

The beast began to show fear as the other wolves began to surround me, ignoring Viola.

I spoke in a voice filled with dreaded conviction carrying great power.

“Noble soul drenched in blood and sin… Claim your rightful power and overwhelm those who stand against you and do you wrong! Dark Melody of Noble Blood!”

In that instant, a black shadow flashed.

Soon, armored knights began to rise from the grave.

They rose up and formed ranks.

They had no flesh nor bones.

Only an ominous shadow manipulated the black armor.

They obeyed my will and began to march against the wolves.

The Leader let out a growl and the other wolves followed suit.

The black knights completed their formation and waited for my command.

I felt power over these things…

I instinctively knew that they would obey my every command.

“Obliterate them!”

My words carried power and the knights moved out immediately.

The black knights felt neither fear nor pain.

They inspired terror and charged forth.

Claws and blades clashed.

The wolves put up a great struggle but they lost ultimately.

The black knights were invincible.

Even their leaders blows merely blew them away, unable to kill or destroy any of my knights.

In contrast, each of my knights wielding swords and spears guided their weapons towards their targets without fail.

Eventually, only the leader was left.

The black knights surrounded him and though he tried to struggle, the knights impaled him with spears, killing him.

After his death, I regained my senses and nullified the field.

I grew calm and watched the knights simply fade away.

I understood my power now.

I can summon spiritual knights to fight on my behalf.

This would undoubtedly prove useful.

“So this is my power…”

I muttered.

There should be other ways to use this power but for now…

“I suppose it’s time to tell you the truth, Lady Viola.”
