[SHOUTCASTER: Piker] "And we’re now down to one contestant! Crea still has a third of the maze, but she doesn’t seem to be slowing down! If everyone remembers the interview, Skeletals have unlimited stamina, so as long as she carefully manages her mana, she still has a chance to cover the full maze!
Everyone, let’s cheer for Crea and Levi!
Raaaa!!"
...
“What the fuck is that stupid ***** are you all ******* blind can’t you see that—”
As Levi thought, Anri was already shouting profanity at the audience, who obviously couldn’t hear her. Zia, along with her guild members, tried to calm her down. But only after seeing Levi smile on camera did she truly sigh in relief.
It was as if the whole world went quiet after that. Crea, along with her four summons, charged through hundreds of goblins without fear. Dodging, decapitating, killing everyone in the way as they forced their way through the sea.
Crea and her four royal guards worked together as if they were one, slashing, using the chains to directly push goblins to fall off the edge. Crea led the charge, the five floating swords directly stabbing, beheading the enhanced woodwork goblins. Her dark gleaming main sword cleaved away tens of goblins at once due to its length, but the horde was endless.
It didn’t make sense. It was as if everything was inevitable, as if it was all meant to end. Second by second, the battle grew grimmer. If not for the timely drag that Levi put in, the four summons would have been destroyed by now.
The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
Learning from Levi, Crea tried summoning and resummoning the four strategically, allowing her to deal damage and focus on maneuverability, saving the extra help whenever needed. But even that was only temporary in the face of the sea of suicidal goblins.
Soon enough, Crea's inherited regeneration couldn’t keep up with the amount of damage. She started getting more and more chips and cracks all over, the pitch dark robe covering her was full of holes, and the mask she built from her predecessor was now missing a huge piece, but she continued to persevere.
The audience roared, biting their nails in anticipation, everyone in the world rooting for the lone survivor. But there was still the other half of the maze, and Crea didn’t have much mana left to work with. It was when she only had a tenth of her mana left that she felt the presence of her Creator.
She felt her mana regenerating back, a portion of the stats of her creator amplifying her own but not fully taking control. She was familiar with Creator’s Descent and would willingly give up control had her creator asked her to. Sensing no voice from him, she continued her charge, using the near-endless mana regeneration for a fighter class like her.
She amplified her body and sped up her regeneration to no end. The crowd roared in hope once again as they saw Crea speed up, and by the next few seconds, saw the four minions coordinating with her again. This time with more zeal and fanaticism.
It was then that the world briefly paused. Rain fell down from even beyond the clouds as if it came from the void. The woodwork goblins mutated further, enlarging themselves, the wood forcefully rotting to produce hybrids of both wood and undead.
It was then that a special Quest window appeared in front of Levi’s screen:
—
