C28 - Plan for Integration

Levi laughed as he watched Anri's funny expression as she kept trying out various spices, mixing odd ingredients, trying out different sets, unable to decide which combination to use for the premium cuts of beef she ordered just for the very occasion.

It was their first night in the house as a married couple after all.

"You're a bit early..."

Levi gave Anri a peck on her neck then to her cheek as he hugged her from behind. Levi had lots of questions like why she wouldn't just use a well known recipe specially for their first night as a couple, but of course he knew better and just simply went for the usual husband dropping by play.

"Still have a day left inside Avalesk. I was wondering..."

Seeing as Anri was too invested right now on her cooking, Levi gave up on his mission, chatted a bit with her wife before proceeding to tell her of his situation.

Right away, Anri offered her guilds protection, immedietly receiving a flick on her forehead as Levi quickly set boundaries regarding her business and their affairs. Hearing about the Skeletal Lifeforms Anri felt ecstatic, during her free VR allocation time on weekends, she would sometimes play kingdom building games and VR RTS games to kill time as those usually with fast forward and pause utility.

The Organizational and Economic management skills nurtured through the game helps for sure, but Anri is there all for the drama. VR Sim games, unexpectedly provides a lot more attachment to players, unlike the cold hearted conquering simulation games back in mobile and desktop.

Seeing characters build families, and relationships then get plunged to preparation and war is simply heart gripping and too intense making it up to top 9 out of all VR Game genres.

There was also the simpler version of simulation games, aka Choice Games, but Anri would rather chat with Levi than play those. Anyway...

In short Anri wants to be in with Levi's little project. There for sure will be more complications later on specially since Skeletal Re-Animations usually conforms to 'Evil' but Neutral, Evil and Chaotic alignments had long been apart of the World VR League for a reason as the WVRL utilizes alignments for niche events and tournaments, also imagine Wolrd VR League games only allowing Good alignment players to participate, not only that would be hypocritical but it would for sure tick majority of the viewers as majority of the normal players love to express their inner desires inside VR.

In fact, there are more neutral and Chaotic Good aligned players(both professionals and normal players alike) than the purely Good Saints of which governments advocate to choose. It also has to be mentioned that Anri's Guild, 'Bloodstained Sakura' is dubbed by the majority of their fans as Chaotic Neutral based from their dominant approach when it comes to quests and campaigns.

...

Proceeding with their discussion... The two racked their brains on how to get over this without massacring a bunch of players and NPCs. From building a hidden town to registering as a subspecies, introducing them to merchants as laborers and mercenaries, presenting them as tools of war and so on.

Of course Anri and Levi crossed out the ruthless ones. The couple already had enough riches to last a lifetime, and they didn't really crave the power given if they were able to either sell, or register the skeletals as tools of war for a popular country, possibly even organizations that spans across the higher floors.

Eventually, Anri suggested tying up the Skeletals together with another isolated minority. That way, their children(Yes she called them that) would not only be 'judged' as monsters, having a race accepting them would greatly accelerate the integration of the Skeletal Lifeforms to the world.

The option itself presented a bunch of challenges, like finding the said isolated minority, and then having them accept the monstrous skellies, but that was much better than registering them as laborers, mercanaries and even tools of war.

..

Using the guild's 24/7 researchers which Anri emphasized she 'heavily' invested on, Anri was easily able to locate several isolated sentient communities across the first floor. Some being too strong, others being described as 'would likely be wiped out as players get stronger' and the majority being 'targeted by large factions'.

Seeing the list sent to them by Zia and her minions, the two looked at each other before laughing and cackling.

They really were two peas in a pod.

Not only both talented, but equally just as insane…
