----------------------------------------
Levi looked awestrucked as he read through all the rewards. Not to mention all the equipment dropped, just the Tome of Learning alone would probably top would be enough bounty for a year of luxury.
The three levels bumped him from level 12 post battle, to level 15. Thinking about it he decided to bump his Vitality to level 11 crossing the initial threshold of the stat.
----------------------------------------
> [Info] Vitality Stat initial threshold exceeded.
> Please choose bonus attribute:
> - Thicker Skin: Increased defense against all types of damage.
> - +1% Increased hp and stamina regeneration per second.
> - Stronger Vitals, vital organs are able to slightly function even at a critical state.
----------------------------------------
Without hesitation, Levi picked Stronger Vitals. He is able to maintain a 3:1 ratio with Mana and Vitality as he is still in the double digits but of course he wasn't planning to continue the such unrealistic trend.
More troops would later on require more mana, and he'll miss out a lot if he is lacking the base mp needed to operate a sizeable army. Hence where Stronger Vitals come into play. Avalesk just like Haven is notorious for their merciless and ultra realistic game play, having a passive to operate despite a busted lung, or a bleeding heart, or cracked skull will go a long way into buying enough time to heal and turn the situation around.
The boss fight just now proved just how intense battles for necromancers can get, if he were to be honest, it was far more complex and vulnerable compared to other playstyles. It was even more demanding than the most complicated deck based mages he tried out on other games now that he thought about it.
Sure he would get a better defensive later on, but for now a glass summoner would do.
Satisfied, he then bumped his perception to 11 prompting another choice window to appear in front of him...
----------------------------------------
> [Info] Perception Stat initial threshold exceeded.
> Please choose bonus attribute:
> - +65 percent to range and field of view.
> - Smoother Muscle Control, and Mana Flow
> - Mana Sense, ability to vaguely sense surrounding mana including your own.
----------------------------------------
Levi felt his brain exhausted. And these choices that were punting him left and right might just be the last straw to call up a mid day break.
He wanted to grab the Smoother muscle and mana control so bad, but he knew that the archetype he was going for isn't really a pure caster based per se.
The first option was of course not for him. So without daddling further he chose Mana Sense. And he almost logged out as a sensory headache bombarded him.
'f...'
He almost cursed, before laughing, cackling, then back to crying.
