"I like the bar that you have at the pantry. Was that tiled granite?"
"Tiles, I think. Should we get one for our house?"
"Let's get something more modern... Glass maybe? No... That's awful."
"What do you think of oak wood?"
"I'm not really sure. How about..."

Levi drove back home with his wife. Listening to her antics here and there and making sure to pay extra attention to details, specially for topics related to the Avalesk and the status of the game in general.
It was something that he could've just asked Zia to send him a daily report on, but he had always thought that knowing too much took out the fun out of the playing the game.
He liked discovering things little by little. It was a game after all. Why spoil the fun with overpreparing and overanalyzing when you could just have fun and live the scenarios as one normally would?
Levi still couldn't wrap his head around how guilds maximize all full 18 days that comes each real life day by having enough people to rotate and constantly fill the expected coverage. Aside from that they would have to assign specific duties for members to both grow their levels, research quests, clearing guild errands and so on.
It was a bit too much for his taste, but to each their own he guess.
...
The competitive scene... is a lot tougher compared to when the two started playing... With the amount of talented individuals applying to guilds, the acceptance mark had long kept climbing higher and higher and along with that the standard of the pro matches started sky rocketing as well.
Moving back to the topic...
There was no way in hell that Levi would dedicate his to read 18 days of information as it wasn't really his cup of tea. Even it the data was curated specially for him, he still wouldn't have enough time to process all of that.
Maybe he could pass on the reports to the skeletals?
They... aren't... smart enough.
The bosses? Maybe. Possibly.
Maybe after a couple more Boss level creations. As it stands, Crea is a lot more interested in hunting and training, while the Elder Hytherian Dragon Skeletal turned small bird is either sleeping or again carving himself to who knows what perfection...
Shrugging to himself, Levi decided to not bother further and just wing it. It was more fun that way anyway.
Besides, what better way to enjoy your drive back home than to listen to his wife talk about what she loves.

"So, how's the game so far?" Anri asked his husband while she took a bit of the lobster roll that her husband prepare.
Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
"It's fun. Huge improvement compared to the past vr games. It's also challenging to say the least. My current build requires far years of training to perfect and for all I know, it will only get more complicated later on."
Anri couldn't help but beam with joy after hearing his husband's answer. To hear him say that the game was 'challenging' is more than a delight for her.
Before Anri joined the league, the two used to play together and finish them whenever new VR games launched, It was fun at first, discussing theories here and there and trying out various builds.
Levi though always went for more challenge. Opting to push himself by soloing endgame quests and bosses before jumping to another game and so on.
Something entirely in conflict with her goals. As an aspiring pro player, Anri of course had to be updated with the latest VR Games and have constantly raced towards the final bosses with her guild. The guild had to be more than just 'strong' to be noticed by the World VR League.
Sooner or later, Anri, eventually got what she wanted, but the time apart inevitably placed some sort distance with her and Levi. Which is why, Avalesk had really been a gift to the both of them.
Not just because they happened to chance upon each other start a new game at the same time, but because the both of them will be playing the game for decades.
It was funny. After Several years of trial and error, the WVRL eventually noticed that creating short two year lifespan games left players and viewers playing then quitting back and fort, and eventually decided to a more permanent solution, creating a game that endlessly scales it's content.
Which is what ultimately, Avalesk: Eternal is.
And his husband and she they happened to just be both playing it.
She couldn't help but smile at how lucky it was. It was also why she had bursted crying for a few minutes in VR after claiming the Kingdom her husband gifted to her.
Ever since becoming the owner of a guild sanctioned by the WVRL it was the very first time she had received help from Levi directly inside. And they came with cute little skellies as well.
Just how lucky was she to get such a husband?
...
... ...
Pausing her reminiscing, Anri eventually remembered to bring up the upcoming WVRL tournament for the month. As a long time member and owner of a guild sanctioned by the World VR League, she had more than enough power to refer her husband to qualify for such events.
She told Levi about various events that he might be interested in like Boss Raid, Siege, Fortress, Capture the flag and so on. Contests that would really highlight summoners like necromancer in general.
There were also pet contests as well as pet pageants... but Anri didn't really know if their children are counted as 'pets' and she would rather be sure than making her husband hope, only for it to not be possible.
Levi while not entirely opposed to the idea laughed at some of the suggestions... getting a light pinch on his side in return. He was glad that his wife hadn't mentioned anything about the pet contests, or he would've outright bursted in laughter.
Finally calming down his huffing wife, Levi explained how he felt that he was far too ahead at the current stage of the game and by listening to him explain his current abilities and now expanded army, Anri only sighed having no choice but to agree.
Only then did Anri realized how Zia and the others reacted back then when they heard about Levi's gift. His husband had given him a whole Kingdom after all. He didn't wriggle his way through politics nor created alliances, he had conquered the remaining fortress of the Serahaim Elves, forcefully binding the Tri-Elves into a system oath and then wiping out the coalition of three kingdoms and a cult like Order from the higher floors.
As much as she wanted, it really wasn't ideal for Levi and game itself, to just reveal himself this early in the game.
Anri sighed.
Maybe it wasn't yet time but, she had always hoped for Levi to step up to the World Stage. I mean, who doesn't want to flex their husband to the world?
...
Seeing his wife sad and gloom, Levi suggested...
"How about PVP?"
Anri was about to reject but Levi cut her of...
"This time however, I won't be using summons to fight. Just bone weapons and alike"
'Would that even be possible'
Anri mumbled for abit before realizing who her husband was. She started laughing with tears. A necromancer not using his summons in PVP?
Wouldn't that be thrilling.
With the gears on her head turning, she quickly agreed before rushing to finish her meal and immediately made the necessary phone calls for Levi to join his very first tournament in the World VR League.
