Also, using those on players probably won't really turn them into slaves, they'll just revive with a fresh body once their death timer expires and would bother him once again, with an even stronger grudge.

Levi, in theory could cast the skill on himself.

He at the very least didn't mind the pain. And there would be advantages for sure, but then again, the skill is named 'Skeletal Transmogrification' not something like a temporary transformation skill, where one reverted back to once the duration is done or forcibly canceled.
