> [Info] IRL, on the way to work.

Levi sighed as he scrolled down his phone. On the way towards his day job. Within a highpaying job and various successful investments, Levi had long gathered more than enough funds for a lavish retirement.
He did attempt to retire at 25 in fact, only to find himself lost and infinitely bored. Being not being much of an outdoor person, he found himself wasting away on books, TV series and movies, but a short month of it left him fed up. At first it was good and slow, but he eventually finished reading or watching the latest good ones and trends, while the earlier generation creations are good some of it even better, it didn't really fit the time he grew up in.
Stolen story; please report.
The only advantage that had was he had flexible control of when to use his daily 4 hour limit of VR Gametime. An actual limitation baked in all vr hardware.
Time flowed 18 times faster in the virtual world, some scenarios in game allow for even faster time progression... Too long to explain the schematics but to simplifly it: the human brain cannot handle more than that.
So, 4 hours of IRL time or 3 days in VR, your mind will be booted out, then the game would either pause the scenario or your avatar would just vanish and get kicked out of the scenario, as such players have to be more calculating when it comes to scheduling their playtime.
Also providing them another situation where they are forced to interact in reality to make friends and be active in communities, if not only to discuss strategy and logistics.
All in all a good way of not blur the lines of reality and vr.
