Levi ended up Skimming the first batch of notifications, with them being title effects two of which canceling each other out. With the rest summarized to: A form of Aura of Nobility, a leadership bonus, and small resistance bonus and the ability to fully utilize Raithmar's pendant.
All of them quite good. But not really something that will give him an edge against other players.
Moving to the next notification, 3 choices popped up, as he saw his level 40 skill reward...
----------------------------------------
> Congratulations on reaching level 40. You may Select a core skill from the list below:
> > Curse
> >> The Uncrowned King's: Gaze of Obsession
>
> A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.
> > Identity
> >> Active Skeletal Conversion
> > Soul
> >> Memorial Rewrite
----------------------------------------
Seeing the skills Levi felt a pang of realization as he viewed [Memorial Rewrite]. Starting from [Creator's Descent], Soul Focused skills seems to lean on lording and manipilating existences.
An entirely new concept, unlike other VRMMOs where 'Soul Attacks' are simply treated as another damage type that either locks, or disables enemies. Levi theorized that later on there will be skills where in he creates programmed Souls himself which could be useful micro-wise. But Levi felt that leaving autonomy and individuality alone is still the best way to go.
His skeletals are eternally loyal to serving him after. And Levi thought that should be more than enough.

Skipping the Soul Option, Levi was left with [Active Skeletal Conversion] and [Gaze of Obsession]...
Gaze of Obsession seems to be a skill tied up to a title of his, amplifying the zeal and fervor of his minions while instilling fear towards his enemies, speciality Nobility and alike.
A frenzy and debuff skill all in one. The bonus against nobles specifically useful.
The conditional immortality given to Avalesk's NPCs rewriting the common pompous stereotype into battle maniacs, with the higher floors being far worse judging by how three kingdoms in the first floor were happily camping and hunting Elven survivors for sport.
The obviously misguided information being more of an excuse for bloodshed rather than a pursuit of a greater goal.
Also, the visual constraint of the skill wouldn't be a problem, given how Levi can vicually descend to his minions and use that to apply the skill to more individuals.
Except for the partial 'Craze' that would be applied to his creations, the skill itself was practically overpowered, and would allow him to sweep over battlefields with even more speed. Levi was also sure that the effect would partially cancel out fear and mind control debuffs, allowing him another layer of protection for his minions on top of [Skeletal Marking].
But then again, Levi trusted the individuality of his creations. They were based on himself after all. It should be their own responsibility to strengthen themselves and protect him and each other against various types of attacks.
Levi paused for a few minutes to stabilize his thoughts.
Now that he calmed himself, he recalled that he had long committed himself away from the 'Summon dependent' archetype. Selecting [Gaze of Obsession] would just drown him back to the same build. Which while complex enough, wasn't really as thrilling, given how Levi would just swarm his enemies most of the time.
It was also why he wanted to join the league either as a caster or a mellee fighter and hopefully his final skill option and upcoming stat distribution allows for it...
Looks like he is stuck with [Active Skeletal Conversion] this time around.
