Anri looked at the sleeping form of Levi, he had sent her a message telling her that he should be awake for after a couple of minutes, only to find his husband forced into Adaptation mode.
She has got to talk about Levi switching his usual vr allocation consumption in the morning now that he has retired. Nights are for... something else... she blushed slightly.
Minutes later she was startled when her husband really did wake up after a few minutes, 15 minutes exactly. Anri felt worried. Adaptation mode in general takes 2 or more hours to settle, heck some even lasted for half a day just 'napping' only to wake up with some sort of hangover that requires more relaxation and rest, yet his husband...
Levi was already sitting up the bed before she knew it. Nothing seems to have changed if not, Anri even noticed that Levi's usual Aura practically disappeared. He was more or less like a 'normal' person now.
Anri doubted that for a bit. Zia had mentioned her senses being 'off' when it comes to his husband, due to her significant trust in Levi. Though for Anri, that wasn't the case. She just didn't really felt anything when she's with Levi. In fact, she felt safe. A lot more safer now, in fact.

A few minutes later, She sighed and hugged her husband. Still annoyed, but her mood got slightly better remembering that she still had to pry off more information of her beloved husband.
Really one of the perks of having a partner in life with the same interest and skill prowess higher than you.
Anri shivered at the thought of what would happen if Levi wasn't interested in the game she played and then she would have to explain bits and pieces of basic information everytime they had a conversation.
She realized that she is blessed.

The two talked and made love as if in a loop for the rest of the night. Their topics would jump to dinner, groceries, then skeletals, in game concepts in Avalesk, the build Anri is using, guild affairs and so on.
Finally remembering to, She did ask Levi later on on how he was able to prepare himself for the adaptation process only to be left speechless as Levi mentioned him sitting for 3 or more straight hours in meditation inside VR, calming and steeling his nerves at the same time.
Anri quickly got rid of the idea of trying it out herself.
She would rather take a 'nap' than all of that.
