In the competitor’s area.
While waiting for the event to start, Levi was approached by an odd individual. Levi was less judgy when it comes to people. Even if the said individual was a bit… different. While other league players tend to either look ‘relax’ ‘professional’ or ‘intimidating’ the woman in front him was wearing shorts, a hoody, and slides. Kind of what you’d wear when you’re out for a walk and don’t really want to talk to your neighbors.
Levi thought that she must have ended up approaching him after seeing his performance but was surprised to see her ending up stuttering inaudible words, pale and sweat, Levi having to remind her about the line before she used that to bolt off.
‘And here I thought people would be more discreet, against prying on someone’s secrets.'
Levi couldn’t help but just laugh at the probing.
The female was a bit interesting to say the least. A bit stronger than her wife? No. Not stronger. Maybe a bit more sensitive when it came to auras.
Levi guessed before shrugging to himself and presenting his ID towards the receptionist.

‘Hopefully none of the other players saw that…’
Lily muttered to herself. It was uncomfortable talking with that man. Considering herself one of the strongest in the league, she always had a keen sense of how strong individuals are. Like a power level detector that both worked in game and in real life. People or living beings would always exude an air of danger with them. Strangely, her senses felt off when it comes to that man. It was as if he doesn’t exude any danger at all.

It was obvious that it wasn’t like that. This was the man who obliterated one hundred players on his own.
Curious as she was, she started to confront the tall man. Trying to unfold the man’s aura layer by layer as she went on talking about the benefits of joining the guild as well as the unfairness of the seasonal league point system for non-guild affiliated players. Or at least she tried to.
Seconds passed and Lily’s face became paler and paler. She felt like her heart was going to stop. With each layer, her senses tried to push through, she became more frantic. At some point she wanted to stop, yet it didn’t take a while before she was getting dragged through. Her senses going haywire after encountering the man in front of her.
Layer by layer it escalated, from whispers of caution to screams for her to run until it suddenly quieted. As if there wasn’t any point to it anymore. The ringing in her ears signifying that she was now under the mercy of the man.
On the outside she was thought she was still trying to act cool, only to catch herself stuttering out of breath the words she was meaning to say gibberish whispers and she wanted nothing more from the man than to just stay the hell away from him.
Luckily, her thoughts resurfaced as the tall man pointed that the line had already moved, her body moving in sync with his command not knowing whether it was because ordered to or if this the reprieve she needed that had finally allowed her to summon her courage move back towards her original spot and then to the now front spot.
“Lily Meadows.”
Reaching the receptionist, she immediately muttered her name directly proceeding without waiting for the confirmation of the staff members. The receptionist being a tenured staff member, immediately radioed in one of the staff members to stay close to Lily just in case she falls down. Curious, but not enough to make the receptionist move outside of his designated post.
“Next!”
