Even as Akata was absorbing the green patches, he could feel the sealing effects wearing off. Not to mention with his strength increasing as he absorbed the green patches, it wasn’t long before he was able to freely move about.
Both of his cultivation bases had reached the 7th Grade with his mortal cultivation base being near the peak. Although both had reached a new level of strength, he still needed to acclimate to this new level and therefore would need to rest after this sudden increase. However, that didn’t deter the fact that he was currently ecstatic right now.
“I actually increased so much just now. I should be able to defeat anybody under the Earthly rank right now.” Akata was simply pleased with himself as of this moment. He was one step closer to reaching the pinnacle of strength, wherever that may be.
“But more importantly, those vines were truly profound.” A profound glow appeared within Akata’s eyes. While he was madly absorbing the life force within the green patches, he was able to get a better understanding of what they were. They were actually a type of vine called Kudzu. It was a type of vine that could suppress anything under it and was found in large quantities.
“To think those vines held such sealing prowess. And they held so much life force within them. Just what figure was that plant cultivator to hold so much life force within him?” Akata truly wanted to know this answer. Any figure that held that much life force had to have an equal amount of power. Needless to say, they had to be extremely powerful!
“And I’m not even done absorbing all of the life force, I still have the soul region of Lord Tafei’s father and then the rest of the elder generation.” Akata’s eyes were gleaming with anticipation to get stronger. But right at this moment he heard a familiar voice.
“I never would have expected for you to break free from my seal… let alone in that fashion.Kid, you seem to have some promis. How about we make a deal?” The voice seemed to be coming from everywhere yet also right beside him as Akata heard it.
Akata was stunned and shocked as he immediately froze. Not from any sort of sealing being placed on him, but from him currently thinking of the possibilities that could arise from this situation. He wasn’t only thinking of the benefits however, as he was also thinking of the consequences.
“What kind of a deal?” Of course Akata wouldn’t instantly dismiss the offer as he wanted a chance to get stronger.
“Haha. Well isn’t this interesting. We both have things we want and yet our paths differ. But even though our paths differ our goals cross.” The voice lightly laughed as it sounded out.
Akata frowned. He didn’t know what this voice was talking about and as it spoke it only confused him more. He was only 13 years old after all. “I don’t get what you’re saying so just tell me already.” Akata said rather bored. If this person wasn’t going to hurry up he would just leave then.
The voice suddenly stopped laughing and spoke. “Alright alright! My goal is to revive myself and from what I can tell you must want to get stronger. So how about we help each other out? I can help guide you to being immortal and you can revive me, how does that sound?” The voice said urgently, trying to sound as persuading as possible.
Akata’s mouth immediately gaped opened. He had never even heard of someone being immortal before yet this figure was talking about it as if it was something normal. However his face quickly changed as he hid his thoughts and asked. “How can you do that?”
“Easy. I have already walked the path of immortality to the end and therefore know how to tread it. I can help you to tread it easier and bring you to immortality. All you have to do is revive me.”:The voice spoke out again, this time with pride. It spoke as if it already had Akata within its grasp.

“And how am I supposed to revive you?” Akata said rather dully. This was the most important part that he cared the most about. If it was dangerous to his life and ensured certain death then he wouldn’t do it no matter what.
“That is also a simple matter, originally I was going to bide my time and slowly gather up more life force and then combine it all together and rebuild myself. But now that I have you, you can just simply gather some materials for me so that I can get my body back.” Now it was speaking rather excitedly.
Akata went silent for a moment lost in thought. What the figure had just said did sound easy enough. And it also didn’t seem to endanger his life at all. He thought for a moment and asked one more question. “Even if I do get these materials how am I supposed to give them to you, and where am I to find them?”
“Also an easy matter.” The voice laughed out. “I’ll just come with you and tell you where to go.” As it spoke a sudden suction force could be felt coming toward Akata. A vortex appeared in front of Akata and inside the vortex was a strong pull.
It wasn’t pulling Akata toward it, but rather was pulling something else… life force. All across the island and within the bodies of the elder generation the foreign life force that was within them was being pulled toward the vortex. It was a strong enough pull that made everyone who still had that foreign life force within them suddenly stop moving. All the fighting that was going on instantly stopped in that instant as everyone felt a weird sensation.
The foreign life force gathered toward the vortex. Even the remaining life force within Great Lord Taple’s soul region was pulled toward this vortex. All of the foreign life force then congregated to form a corporeal figure that looked more like mist than a person. The only clear thing that could be seen was a tint of green.
“Your figure in front of me is only an incarnation of your true self. Your true self should be outside this body very close by. I’ll just remain inside of your body until you have the necessary materials to revive me and build me a body.” The mist like figure spoke jubilantly.
“Although you absorbed a bunch of my built up life force I won’t hold a grudge. Consider it an initial gift out of many to come. This little gift will be nothing compared to the things to come if you agree to help me out.” The mist like figure spoke again.
Akata was surprised at what he was seeing and hearing. This figure knew that he was an incarnation and that his true body was just outside. Although this might not seem surprising to many, to a young inexperienced boy such as Akata it was amazing.
He went into a deep thought. This wasn’t a simple matter anymore. If he agreed then this figure would be in his body for who knows how long, but then he would receive gifts that were even greater than what he had already gotten. But if he disagreed, then he would simply move on with life as if nothing had ever happened.
After a bit of thought his eyes glowed with determination. Only with risk can one cultivate to a high level. So in order to reach the pinnacle of strength, he was going to take a risk. “Are you the plant cultivator?” Akata seemingly already knew this answer but he just wanted to hear it from this figure.
“Yes I am a plant cultivator. My name is Larry. But my plantist name is Noluck.” Larry stated nonchalantly. He cared more about whether Akata would accept or not.
“Plantist Noluck? Why is that your name?” Akata wanted to know.
“It’s a long story. Anyways… what do you say?” Plantist Noluck asked anxiously.
“About the deal?” Akata purposely paused as if still thinking. He wasn’t in much of a rush anyways now. The only thing he could say he was in a hurry for was to heal Lord Tafei’s father and learn more about runes and elements. But at the moment, even that didn’t entice him to hurry up right now.
Only after a minute of silence did Akata finally voice his answer. “Okay fine, I agree to your deal. However…”
Akata didn’t even have the time to finish his next sentence before Plantist Noluck yelled out with joy and immediately disappeared from his location. In the next instance he was outside of Great Lord Taple’s body and was boring into Akata’s true body.
Tabet stood there mouth gaping as he saw this happening. Since he was sealed within the chambers with Akata and his grandfather he had long since just sat there watching Akata in case he started moving. When he saw this green mist appear and flow into Akata he immediately jumped up and rushed over to Akata.
“Akata! Akata! What just happened?! What was that green mist just now?! Answer me… answer me now! Akata!” Tabet screamed out and shook Akata.
Akata’s incarnation was left there in silence by himself staring out into the dantion region. He didn’t know what to do at the moment. All of a sudden he heard a loud thunderous roar bellow out behind him. He turned his head to see the white tiger raising its head and roaring into the sky. It’s body grew in size and completely took up a fifth of the land that was below it. The white tiger then opened its eyes and a fearsome pressure started to radiate out. It looked straight at Akata for a moment and nodded its head and then roared again.
The pressure exerted from this roar was too intense for Akata, forcing him to call back his incarnation. Akata’s true body woke up and opened its eyes as he stared at the figure in front of him. He saw Great Lord Taple’s body start emitting a golden luster of aura and radiate an intense pressure. Akata didn’t even notice Tabet holding him.
At this moment both of them were astonished at the scene they were seeing. That golden light seemed filled with righteousness and a feeling of justice. In fact it even felt… holy!
