He sent his nature sense into his body and used it to cover over the fire. He increased the pressure around the hellfire to combat it. ‘If this hellfire thinks it can beat me then I guess I have to show it who’s boss.’ The nature sense Akata sent out crushed towards the hellfire. Ever since he comprehended the World Omen of Lord Dullahan and his body was reformed, his nature energy and sense greatly improved.
His energy surrounded the hellfire and wrapped around it causing it to stop advancing. He then used his energy to surround and protect the runes in his soul region. The hellfire stopped consuming them and they immediately stopped fading away.
Akata started rotating both runes at a fast rate and his body started glowing with a golden red light. He opened his eyes and they flashed with a tint of red and gold. “My nature sense has surrounded the hellfire, now it won’t run amok. I can forcefully lead it to my soul to nourish it.”
Akata moved his nature energy to his soul along with his demonic hellfire. The process was smooth and the nature energy caused the hellfire to lose its burning sensation and become soothing. He guided it to his soul and began to nourish it.
“Done. Time to settle it down in my dantion region.” Akata then guided the hellfire to his dantion region and kept it there. “I’ll keep some of my nature energy wrapped around it for now.” He was calm now as his nature energy called for it.
Akata didn’t stop there as he sucked in some more of the demonic flame and used his nature energy to guide it throughout his body. He only used his nature energy to guide it through his soul region and to his dantion where he added it to the existing demonic flame. He then condensed it together.
He repeated this process to cultivate the demonic hellfire. As he did the fire in front of him shrunk and shrunk.
5 meters. 3 meters. 1 meter.
Soon Akata sucked in the last of the ball of demonic hellfire and guided it into his body. It first nourished the body and made it stronger. By now Akata’s body was extremely powerful on its own. He could fight cultivators at the 6th Grade of the Mortal Rank with just his body alone. A single fist from him could instantly beat a cultivator at the 4th Grade of the Mortal Rank.
The demonic hellfire then passed through his soul region unto his soul. It nourished his two runes and his soul. The two runes were shining brighter than ever and they emitted a blazing aura themselves.
Akata’s soul was stronger as well. In his soul region there sat a small transparent figure with its legs crossed. The figure resembled Akata exactly, that was because it was his own soul. The two runes rotated around this figure providing it with power and the feeling of ancientness. Not only that but inside of the figure could be seen a spark of demonic hellfire. This spark was very special in that it would provide Akata with a way to produce his own demonic flames.
In truth, cultivating an element by absorbing it would only cause it to be temporarily usable. The absorbed element would be continuously used up and would eventually run out. Which is why most people use it sparingly. For those that don’t use it sparingly is because they either have a means of replenishing their supply or they plan on cultivating in a different element.
It must be known that any absorbed element would usually only reside in the cultivation region. Yet the demonic hellfire actually had a piece of it located in Akata’s very own soul. There was a reason for this however. Not only did the demonic hellfire contain a piece of Akata’s own blood, which made it extremely close to him, but he was personally guiding the energy throughout his body. This made sure that he could nourish his body on a completely new level, one in which his body was almost completely immune to fire.
Of course Akata had been noticed this which is why he had continued in this manner for so long. He wanted to thoroughly enhance himself on a fundamental level. The World Omen of Lord Dullahan had provided a great foundation for Akata and the Searing Heat of the Underworld provided immunity to fire and the ability to wield it.
“Almost done with cultivating this fire. Just a bit more and I’ll be done.” Akata continued to guide the demonic hellfire through his body. After he finished nourishing his soul, the spark in it grew more pronounced. “This spark should allow me to create my own demonic hellfire. This means that this is truly my own kind of hellfire. Once I absorb the energy of heaven and imbue it into my flame it will be a top-class fire. It should even be equivalent to true hellfire.” Akata mused silently to himself as he thought about the possibility of wielding such a strong fire.
The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
The last of the demonic hellfire continued on through his body, making its way to his dantion region. The dantion region was the place where the cultivation base was located. It was the most important place for a cultivator, as without it, you couldn’t be a cultivator.
The heat from the fire was gentle and caused his dantion region to warm up. The feeling caused Akata to let out a soft breath. The warm sensation spread throughout the dantion region, encasing the region in fire, yet it wasn’t burning it. Akata’s cultivation base started to be infected by the hellfire and increased at a slow speed.
The last of the demonic hellfire grouped together with the other hellfire that Akata had already absorbed. The condensed energy emitted a powerful pressure. When the last bit of hellfire combined with it it became even more astonishing.
The hellfire was settled in Akata’s dantion region where it would burn forever due to Akata’s demonic hellfire soul spark. As of this moment Akata had fully absorbed the demonic hellfire.
Akata lifted his hand out in front of him with his palm facing upwards. “Light.” Akata willed it and a small red-black flame appeared in his hand. It was about the size of a fingernail and didn’t cause much pressure to form but it glittered brightly.
Akata’s eyes glowed brightly as he formed the hellfire in his hand. This was his first time ever wielding an element of nature. A wide smile appeared across his face showing all his front teeth. He pulled his arm back some and threw it forward causing the hellfire to be sent flying.
It flew towards a bush where it immediately incinerated it. “Woah. I didn’t expect the burning power to be so fierce.” 4-5 breaths later the bush was nothing but ash. Akata looked on and the smile on his face deepened with satisfaction.
He didn’t get up immediately but instead sat there in meditation recovering his energy. Although his nature energy had increased by leaps and bounds, using it for a full day caused him to be extremely drained. He sat cross legged recovering his energy and also thinking of ways to use his demonic hellfire.
After a few hours Akata opened his eyes and stood up to stretch. “Whooo that took longer than I expected. Now I just have to cultivate the Demonic Wraith technique and I will be through.” This was another technique that he had gained from the Hellhound. Since it was flowing through his blood he instantly had the whole technique surface in his mind.
“So this technique is used for illusions. Interesting, with this it will greatly help my fighting. Not only that, but it will compliment my World Omen of Lord Dullahan technique as well.” Akata sat and studied the technique. Sometimes his mouth would gape open with surprise, ardor, or even praise. This was a technique truly fitting of him, it was just what he needed.
It was fairly easy to learn the skills in the technique. The Demonic Wraith technique consisted of two different concepts to bring together one technique. The demonic part and the wraith part.
The demonic part was the outer shell of the technique while the wraith was the main part. The demonic part was meant as a cover-up as to hide the wraith. It was used to show the sinisterness of the technique and have others cower in front of it.
The wraith was the main part of the technique. It was what everything was centered around and was the focal point. The illusions of the technique stemmed from the wraith, causing them to be covered up by the demonic part.
After about a few hours of meditating on the technique Akata let out a long breath. “This technique is just too bizarre. How did that Hellhound even possess an ability like this? With these skills how could I have beaten that?” Akata let out a dry laugh and stood up. “Well for now I’m done comprehending all the techniques that I have gained.
The Elder Quarters in a secret location
Third and Second Elder were watching Akata train in the World Omen of Lord Dullahan technique. They were watching very closely and were monitoring everything that was happening. The room was extremely quiet.
“Why did you permit Akata to train in the World Omen of Lord Dullahan?” Third Elder couldn’t help but break the silence and ask. Normally he wouldn’t question his sister as she was very intelligent, but this time he couldn’t help but ask.
Second Elder didn’t turn her head as she was still staring at the screen in front of her watching Akata. As she watched the screen she spoke in a calm, soothing voice. “My answer is simple. I’m curious.”
“Curious over what exactly?” Third Elder turned his head to face Second Elder and a puzzling look could be seen.
Second Elder also turned her head to look back at him. “Out of all the treasures, weapons, skills, items, in the Treasure Pavilion he chose the scythe to wield. Not just any ordinary scythe either but the Bludhaven Scythe. That scythe emits no energy whatsoever yet he was able to sense it with his nature energy. This must mean he has some sort of connection with the scythe, Also, while we do have some scythe techniques, the best one undoubtedly comes from the intent of Lord Dullahan. He didn’t know that, yet he chose this technique. I’m curious as to what all this will lead to.”
After Second Elder spoke she turned her head to look at Akata once more. A gleam appearing in her eyes. She didn’t notice it but Third Elder did. After a moment he too looked at Akata. It was at this point that Akata started to absorb the intent of Lord Dullahan.
“He did it? He actually did it?” It wasn’t Second Elder who spoke this but Third Elder. He was surprised by the fact that Akata was so connected to the scythe. “At such a young age, yet he is fully connected to the scythe. How is this even possible?” He unconsciously looked at Second Elder, but she didn’t look away from the screen.
Her face was calm but her eyes showed with a bright radiance. She was anticipating Akata’s future. “So the scythe is connected to him by destiny. Just… what kind of future will he have?”
