The fairy gave a grunt as its body flashed toward Akata who was standing at the center of the leaders. He raised his leaf sword and stabbed straight for Akata’s throat. It could be seen that he was a decisive fighter as well.
Akata didn’t panic in the slightest as he prepared to receive the fairy’s attack. He raised his scythe and used it to block the attack. The area around Akata started to vibrate as a violet light sprang up from the scythe. The crimson mark on the scythe started to glow and an intense power rose up in the surroundings. Khaotic Diffusion Lock!
The fairy felt as if his attack was dramatically weakened all of a sudden. It didn’t seem like the area he was in was under his control and it felt like someone else was the master of this region. His eyes locked onto the violet glow on the scythe and his face couldn’t help but change. ‘Is he controlling some supreme element?’ He couldn’t help but think to himself.
Bang! The leaf sword collided with the Bludhaven Scythe and the results weren’t what others were expecting. Akata held the leaf sword back with his scythe with difficulty. This shocked the others to a large extent. Akata actually blocked a head on strike against a Second Rank cultivator and didn’t get pushed back! What did this mean? It meant that Akata could actually go against a Second Rank cultivator with his own strength while he was only in the First Rank… and not even at the peak.
Akata was already capable of fighting those at the Halfstep Second Rank before, and now that he had tremendous breakthroughs in all of his cultivation bases he was obviously much stronger. But the difference between Halfstep Second Rank and the Second Rank were like difference between heaven and hell. Although Akata was close in strength he still had a ways to go before he could truly battle them. From this it could be seen how much strength going from the First Rank to the Second Rank granted. It was simply unimaginable.
Seeing that he couldn’t totally battle the Second Rank yet and that he was still being suppressed, Akata didn’t become discouraged but instead a yearning appeared within his heart. He longed for the day that he could step into the Second Rank. How powerful would he become then?
A black flame with a crimson outline appeared on the hands on Akata. With a thought the flames spread to cover his scythe and they were seeking to burn the leaf sword and the fairy.
“Humph!” The fairy snorted and put some more pressure on Akata. A green glint appeared in his eyes as a giant leaf appeared above his head. The leaf swept out, creating a strong wind that pushed Akata back.
The fairy then changed targets and went for the support of the group, Peizhi Xiuying. He could tell at a glance that she could heal others by the way she stood behind them and controlled plants, even if she couldn't heal she was the support for the group, and if he looked to win a quick fight then he would have to take her out. “You can die first!” Akata was a bit weird and strange but the fairy figured that the others were much more normal in comparison.
The giant leaf in the sky waved again generating a huge gust of wind that pushed the others back. He didn’t want them to obstruct his goal in killing Peizhi Xiuying. From this, Akata could tell that the fairy was very meticulous and cautious. It was going to be very hard to kill this person.
“Peizhi Xiuying… and everyone else for that matter! Now is not the time to hold back our strength or our hidden tricks. We have to kill this person with all we’ve got otherwise none of us will survive!” Akata yelled out as soon as he was pushed back and saw the fairy glance at Peizhi Xiuying. He could tell that the fairy was going to change targets and his most optimal choice would be the healer of the group. Therefore he told everyone to not hold anything back. Even if their secrets were exposed it would be better than dying.
Peizhi Xiuying knew what Akata said was right so she took a deep breath and no longer held back her strength. Her aura immediately became much colder as her Grand Life Vine merged into her body. Gradually her skin became black and a strong yin energy suffused from her body.
“Yinbloom Form.”

Peizhi Xiuying’s skin became pitch black as a huge amount of yin energy washed over her body. Her eyes and hair turned into a forest green as a boundless life energy filled every part of them. A black vine tendril wrapped around each of her arms and along those tendrils many white flower buds could be seen sprouting. Her clothes shredded from the sudden pressure but in its place a giant black flower petal appeared on her body in the form of a dress. She truly looked like a plant goddess at this moment.
Whether it was Fang Zuwa, Sno Re, Cho Re, Akata, or even the fairy, all of them were surprised at her transformation at this moment. Even though Akata had already seen it before, it still awed him just how marvelous this skill was. She was basically changing into a whole different race of beings.
Shock and bewilderment filled the fairy as he saw the Peizhi Xiuying change her form. If it was just her form that changed then it wouldn't matter much, but her whole aura and strength greatly differed from her previous self. If before she was considered a sprouting bud then now she would be an ancient evil plant that was filled with life and yin energy. There was no comparison between the two.
It might have seen like a lot of time passed but in reality the Yinbloom Form only took an instant to change into. Before the fairy could draw too close, Peizhi Xiuying had already transformed and was preparing to launch her assault. :Fourth Petal Transformation: Yin Mist.” A meter long black petal appeared above Peizhi Xiuying’s head and began to crack. As it cracked endless amounts of a black mist started seeping out of it. The mist covered everything in the surrounding area and soon Peizhi Xiuying’s figure disappeared within.
Whoosh! Although the fairy saw all of this happening right in front of him he didn’t slow down in the least. He kept straight and swung at the spot Peizhi Xiuying was just at. To his surprise, however, he hit nothing but air. Shock filled his face and gloom soon took over his features.
‘She was just here a breath ago, there’s no way she can move that fast. These kids are utterly weak but their skills are top class. All of their skills are profound and it’s going to be a lot of trouble if I want to kill them. I thought that only that kid with the crimson eyes was a freak but from his words everyone of them is a monster.’
The fairy didn’t immediately start attacking again and he slowly turned his head to look at the group of leaders. His eye twitched when he saw Peizhi Xiuying standing calmly side by side with the rest of them.
‘It seems she can move about freely within this mist. I’ll have to find some way to get rid of it so that I can kill her.’ The fairy thought to himself. He swept his gaze across the children and harrumphed.
Cho Re, Sno Re, and Fang Zuwa looked at Peizhi Xiuying briefly when she appeared beside them. They were all qualified leaders and therefore their actions and thoughts could be seen as top class within the sect. After a second of hesitating they finally decided to get serious and unleash their full power.
“Heh. I’ve been waiting on a worthy opponent to test my skills on.” Fang Zuwa stepped forward and as he did, dense gray fog surrounded his body. Just looking at the fog made one’s mind feel as if it were being slowly eaten away like a leech constantly attacking it. ‘My Mental Corrosion Fog Tome that I train in is perfect for prolonged battles as it breaks the mind and eats away at the opponents mental energy. Their will to do anything will slowly but surely be taken away in front of me.’ He thought to himself. The gray fog suddenly spread out and mixed in with the black mist. Fang Zuwa’s figure slowly turned into fog as he took on a more ghostly form.
Seeing as Fang Zuwa was going all out how could the Re brothers not? They both stepped forward and flashed an incantation gesture. Golden light sprang up on Cho Re’s body while silver light emanated from Sno Re’s body.
“Divine Paramita Body.”
Boundless silver and golden light sprang up in the area and it made it very difficult to see what was going on. Along with the light two intense energies sprang up and brought a huge pressure upon everything near the twins.
Whether it was the long haired Sno Re or the short haired Cho Re, both of them went tremendous changes. One had their eyes and hair turn silver while the others turned gold, Their hands went into a prayer gesture and soon another pair of arms sprouted from under their previous ones. Their necks seemed to grow and to the surprise of everyone another head was forming for each of the twins. The light surrounding them twirled endlessly and transformed their clothes into silver and gold light armor.
This was the Divine Paramita Body technique. It granted the user a supreme and divine body fit for a deity. The complete technique allowed for the user to have six arms and three heads and be clad in heavy armor, but since the twins weren’t at the level yet they could only have four arms and two heads and wear light armor. The technique allowed for their bodies to grow up to five meters and as they became more proficient they could grow much more taller than that.
The light dimmed down and the twins stood there with imposing auras. On wore silver light armor and the other wore golden light armor. They each had four arms and two head and were five meters tall.
The five leaders stood side by side. Fang Zuwa in his ghostly form gave an aura of corrosion and the fairy felt his mind slowly churning. The twins gave the fairy a feeling that they were supreme beings and gave off an intense pressure that weighed down on him. Peizhi Xiuying’s Yin aura made the surroundings feel cold and made him feel trapped. And Akata, while the only one who still looked the same, subtly gave him the worst feeling out of them all.
Looking left and right Akata could feel the imposing auras from the people beside him. He then looked straight at the fairy and couldn’t help but lightly smile. “I can’t let you all upstage me.” He closed his eyes and said calmly.
Gold and crimson light sprang up around his body as he rotated his runes. An imposing aura of a god slowly emanated from Akata and it made others want to revere and worship him. Akata opened his eyes and an intense will to fight could be seen within. However deep within those crimson eyes that held a lust for battling could be seen a calm killing intent.
“You can die now.” Akata spoke calmly.
