Akata slowly opened his eyes as he first saw a clear sky in the air. He instantly sat up and saw the silver armored man standing there with the hilt of the greatsword in his hands and the tip sitting on the ground. How he looked at the moment was how he had appeared when he first got here.
When he saw Akata sit up and look at him, his face was emotionless. He waited a moment before saying, “By orders of the sect, you have passed this trial.” He waved a hand toward Akata and a crimson light flew toward him and merged into his forehead. Akata wasn’t expecting it and he was too weak right now to resist it. A blast of information flooded into his head and merged into his thoughts.
“Th… This is?!” Akata’s eyes went wide with shock and disbelief. What he had just received was simply too spectacular. This could be considered a truly fortunate gift.
“You may now leave.” The silver armored figure waved his hand once more and the power of teleportation sprang up around Akata. He was now being teleported out of the trial. Just as he was fading away he heard the voice of the silver armored figure once more. “It took you 30 minutes to resist and break the attack and 30 minutes to wake up.” With that Akata fully teleported out of the 10th Cabin Trial.
On the outside there was a list of 10 people on the 10th Cabin. These 10 people all performed spectacularly in this trial. The people on the outside were watching the list and looked on as a new name appeared at the bottom of it. Then it kept moving up rapidly until it actually moved up from the number 3 spot and all the way to number 1. The new number 1 was obviously Akata.
“What?! Akata’s back and he has taken the number 1 spot for himself?”
“You’re joking, right? Nobody can pass Jiandan Fuza. He’s a genius afterall.”
“Wait. He’s telling the truth look at the top 10. Look! He’s really number 1!”
Soon a crowd started to gather around the 10th Cabin to take a look at the list and make sure nobody was lying. What they saw shocked them. Ever since this Cabin Trial had been created and Jiandan Fuza challenged it, nobody had ever taken his spot.
The crowd was abuzz with conversation and soon all eyes turned to the front door where they could feel the power of teleportation. Someone was coming out of the trial. They all looked on with gleaming eyes.
Soon, they saw a young boy with okay features and ragged torn clothes appear. His hair was wavy and reached down to his neck. He had a rather disappointed look on his face but as soon as he saw the crowd just staring at him, his heart shook.
“Uhh… Hey fellow sect members?” He said with confusion.
“That’s not Akata.” Someone from the crowd called out.
The crowd soon became disappointed and didn’t pay anymore attention to the boy that had come out of the trial. The boy, however, was still perplexed but soon came to know why when he looked at the leaderboard. Soon, he joined the crowd to wait for Akata.

The teleportation portal lit up many more times with no appearance from Akata, it was a trial that many people participated in after all. But the 13 time it lit up a rather calm looking person appeared. He had his right arm covered up and his eyes were a fiery crimson red. His hair was in disarray and his clothes were torn. He looked out to see a crowd just looking at him.
After the few times people had come out of the trial with no results, the joy and anticipation had slowly died down from the crowd. Now, whenever someone had come out of the trial they all would just look over to see who it was. It made for an awkard moment to have a whole crowd looking at one person who had just arrived out of an intensive trial such as the 10th Cabin Trial.
The new figure looked at the surrounding people as they all looked at him. At first there was silence in the air which made the scene even more awkward but then someone called out with excitement. “Tha… That’s Akata! It’s finally Akata!”
That yelled incited some people from their calm and excited their hearts and minds. Soon, an uproar emitted from the crowd and they all rushed over to Akata. They were excited, curious, envious, cunning, all sorts of emotions and reasons were rushing through them when they saw Akata appear before them.
To see a whole crowd rushing at him from the moment he was teleported out of the trial, obviously Akata was taken aback. He activated his Lunarsun Steps and ran away from the spot he was just in. The crowd was amazed at the speed he was able to display just then. He was many times faster than them. They could only watch as he ran away from them as fast as he could.
‘What was that? Why were they all rushing towards me like that? Could it have been because I passed the trial?’ Akata thought in his head as he ran away from the overly excited trial. He could only speculate as he ran towards his dorm room.
In his dorm, Akata immediately shut the door and went to sit cross legged on his bed. Calming himself down he let out a long breath and then focused himself. Even though he did, his heart was still stirring with excitement.
“I can’t believe I received a legacy that focuses around the Outer Element of Souls. This is just simply too much. It’s not some measly technique that has a few skills in it but an actual legacy.” Akata was truly astounded right now.
“Did you say a legacy for the Outer Element of Souls? That’s impossible. There’s no way there could be a legacy for an Outer Element. They are considered equal to Heavenly elements how could there be legacies for them. Not even the gods themselves could come up with legacies.” Noluck immediately said after hearing Akata’s words just then.
Outer Elements were essentially elements that were on the same level as the heavens themselves. Gods themselves were blessed by the heavens so not even they could create legacies for Outer Elements. With his knowledge, there was no way to create a legacy for an Outer Element.
“Well I have it right here. Heartsoul Legacy. Created by Monarch Heartsoul. It covers many different ways to use the Outer Element of Souls and mix it with the Inner Element of Heart. Speed, movement, fighting, control, and other stuff as well. It’s almost like when I received that scythe legacy.” Akata said. This was truly a great gift.
As Akata searched through it quickly to see all of its contents he frowned slightly. “It’s not the full thing.” he sighed to himself. If it was the full legacy then this would truly be a blessing from heaven itself, but it wasn’t. A full legacy would be complete with treasures, life-saving tools, armors, weapons, and of course techniques. But this was part of the legacy. It only contained some of the techniques of the creator.
“From what this legacy says, I could reach easily reach immortality with just this. Although it sounds enticing, it isn’t what I want to focus on. This legacy combines elements of the Heart and Soul. That doesn’t sound like the route that I want to go through. My scythe legacy can bring me to the immortal level as well.” Akata shook his head. Still it was worth looking into, it had ways to improve his use over the Outer Element of Souls after all.
Reading through the techniques in the legacy Akata found an interesting attack. “The Spectral Heart Shockwave attack that silver armored figure used. So that was the 6th technique created by Monarch Heartsoul.” Shivers ran down Akata’s spine upon realising this. It was a move that required tremendous insights into the Heart and Soul elements.
When used in the hands of someone with a 6th Grade cultivation base it was devastating to an insane extent. It was even able to put Akata to sleep for half an hour, and that was after it had taken him half an hour to defeat it in the first place. If it was someone who was actually on equal footing with Akata, he would’ve been done for.
After reading through all of the available information, Akata stopped reviewing it. His eyes gleamed with battle intent. “For now I’ll focus on the trials and make it to the tower. That way I can have a good position in the war.” Akata took in a deep breath and once more strode out of his dorm to make his way to the Cabin Trials. This time he was heading for the 9th Cabin Trial.
