A cloudy aura filled with lightning energy surrounded akata’s body. The power emanating from the two aura’s was already a threatening presence to the surrounding beasts but gradually a more fearsome and terrifying aura was emerging from within the two as the vine aura was mixing in. The Inner Element of Vines wasn’t remarkable by itself at all, but the strange combination of the Inner Elements of Clouds and Lightning seemed to bring out an existence of utter terror. Hints of green could be seen within the cloudy aura and vitality could be sensed within the lightning aura.
As the vine aura emerged and strengthened, the beasts started to become more fierce and they fought relentlessly. The beasts were of varying strengths and they had different abilities that made it very troublesome for the group to fight back against them. Sumting Wong and Basik Bufmann were the two strongest people in the group besides Akata and therefore the two of them were the main defending force holding the beasts back. With them two, the group split into two groups, one that actively attacked the beasts and one that defended Akata from the attacks that managed to slip through the attacking group.
Through the intense pressure of fighting multiple strong enemies, many people made sudden breakthroughs. Laim Oh, Ran Bow, Bur Gers, Fou Rest, etc. all made breakthroughs one after the other. It must be understood that they had long since reached bottlenecks and just needed a final trigger to push them forward. With Akata around they didn’t truly need to push themselves too hard; but now that they truly couldn’t rely on him, they had to fight with all they had.
Bang! Boom! Bam! Attacks were unleashed one after the other as explosions rang out and the surrounding area was utterly thrashed. Although Akata’s group was strong and made successive breakthroughs in cultivation, they didn’t have an ounce of joy on their faces. The beasts were just as fearsome as them and they outnumbered them greatly. Slowly but surely the group kept getting pushed back, closer and closer to where Akata was.
“Argh!” A cultivator slashed at a beast with his claw arts and killed it, but just as soon as that happened two more powerful beasts sprang up and slashed at her. She barely dodged out of the way of a fatal blow but even then her leg was sliced open and a huge gash appeared. She fell to the ground ashened faced and couldn’t move anywhere. The two beasts took this opportunity to pounce at her and finish her off. The girl was extremely fierce, as she laid on the ground unable to move out of the way she swung her claws at the beasts hoping to take on down with her.
Swish! Swoosh! One beast was split into three pieces while the other one fell to the ground lifeless, it had been pierced in the heart. The girl stared at the unmoving beasts with astonishment, she wasn’t the one who killed them. As she was attacking she clearly saw what happened, one beast had its body sliced apart by two beautiful sword waves, while another was ruthlessly stabbed by some kind of plant. What confused the girl was that the attacks didn’t come from her group but from the surrounding area from opposite sides.
The girl looked to her left and saw a beautiful lady standing on top of a huge black vine plant. The plant was exceptional as she could feel a huge amount of life energy emanating from it even from so far away. The vines on the plant whipped back and forth as if swaying with the wind and the girl that stood on top of it seemed as if she was one with nature, as if she was born from the very earth itself. Her white fur clothes contrasted greatly with her cold, black eyes and hair. Yet even then, her cold aura had a hint of an illusory feeling that made one feel as if she only existed in dreams.
The girl then looked to her right and saw that two people in purple robes that looked just alike were standing there. The person with short black hair held a greatsword in both hands and he looked righteous and awe-inspiring. The greatsword was taller than his whole body, being 3 meters in height. The blade was completely golden in color with the hilt being silver. A golden aura radiated from this person’s body as an overbearing feeling washed over the surroundings.

The person with long black hair also held a greatsword in both hands and he looked composed and tranquil. His aura gave one the feeling as if any kind of danger would be avoided if you were around him. His greatsword was completely silver in color with the hilt being golden and it was difficult to tell what material it was made out of. A silver aura washed off of this person’s figure and it instantly made on feel refreshed and secure.
“Peizhi Xiuying! Cho Re! Sno Re!” The girl cried out in surprise at the sight of these three people. They all were top class disciples of the sect and each had the same potential as Akata. They were leaders of their own groups and from this, it could be seen what kind of strength they had.
“Blessed Night Tulip: Holy Moon Prayer.” Peizhi Xiuying put her hands together as in prayer and slowly pulled them apart, as she did a white tulip appeared between her palms. The tulip quickly started to grow and as it did she tossed it in the direction of the girl that was still laying down injured. The tulip stopped above the girls body and by then it was the size of her head. It took on a dark color and an aqua light emitted from it. Soon an aqua colored glow sprang up around the girl and her injured leg started to visibly heal. From afar it looked as if a black moon with aqua light shined on the girl and it brought one a celestial feeling yet one couldn’t help but seem that it was slightly demonic.
“Heavenly Descent.” Both Cho Re and Sno Re spoke at the same time and as they did they raised the giant greatswords above their heads. They swung the greatswords down in the exact same manner but they released two different types of intents. Cho Re held the Goldensun Greatsword in his hands and he brought an overwhelming aura that seeked to annihilate everything in the vicinity. Anything that the light of that greatsword touched would be destroyed. Sno Re, on the other hand, held the Silvermoon Greatsword in his hands and he seemed to want to protect everything around him. Everywhere the silver light of his greatsword passed would be be protected and couldn’t be harmed.
The golden light descended from the sky and tore apart a nearby beast that was closing in on the girl and immediately killed it. The silver light descended from the sky and formed a barrier in front of the girl and protected her from a long range attack of a beast. The two techniques looked exactly the same but operated in different manners. The golden light seeked to attack and destroy while the silver light seeked to defend and protect. This was the result of what the twin brothers cultivated. The Paramita Energy Arts.
The Paramita Energy Arts were exceptional to a great degree. They didn’t focus on greatswords but instead on energy manipulation. The brothers had exceptional innate talent in manipulating energy and therefore they were given this technique in the Tower of Clouds. When Akata had went to the Tower of Clouds he was given a whole legacy but the two brothers were given a cultivation technique instead, that was because they had a special situation. The cultivation technique they were given wasn’t exactly whole. It was actually split into two parts by the person who created it. One part was solely for defense and the other solely for offense. They were Fourth Rank techniques by themselves but if perfectly put together it was entirely capable of becoming a Fifth Rank technique.
One could probably say that it would be a simple matter to put the two together and one would be right, however, to perfectly sync them and make them whole was a different matter. You would have to be able to perfectly understand the polar differences of the two techniques and then combine them to have them work together as if one. Otherwise, it would be as if you were just using two different techniques and the power of it would be significantly weaker.
Sno Re controlled the Silvermoon Energy while Cho Re controlled the Goldensun Energy. These two energies were a part of a larger whole, Paramita Energy. However, Paramita Energy was impossible to control without a strong cultivation, otherwise one would self destruct from loss of control. That was why the person who created this technique sought to separate Paramita Energy into two separate ones. One for offense which was called Goldensun Energy and one for defense which was called Silvermoon Energy. Paramita was perfection and in order to better control and understand it the creator separated the Paramita Energy.
Sno Re and Cho Re happened to be two sides of the same coin and therefore they could come together to truly perfect these differing techniques and bring them together. From this, it was easy to see how close they were.
The three leaders sudden appearances shocked Akata’s group. But asides from shock the group mostly felt boundless gratitude and excitement. They were struggling and constantly being pushed back but now back up had came. And it was in the form of three powerful disciples that had the strength to be leaders in the army!
After the initial attacks from Peizhi Xiuying, Sno Re, and Cho Re, they didn’t continue with their assault. Instead, they looked across the battlefield at the various and beasts. As they looked they could see that more and more beasts were coming to join in. The three couldn’t help but smile. This was what war was going to be like so this was the perfect opportunity to showcase their leadership. They each raised their hands and behind them their groups appeared and rushed into the fray.
Two new groups joined in the battle! Instantly, the scale of the battle between beasts and cultivators skyrocketed. It would surely become much more fierce.
