After stopping supplying mana to his vehicle Isaiah opened his door to get out, he walked towards the passenger seat’s door and opened it to take Lily out.
She was lying on the seat unconsciously. Isaiah put one hand on her back, and the other under her thighs and picked her up in his arms easily thanks to his increased strength.
He made his way towards his room where he gently laid her down on his bed, currently his room was the only personal living space in the entire casino and he didn’t wanna leave her alone at her house while she was unconscious. His hand went to forehead to fix the few hair strands that fell on her face, “I should get her to Rank 1 soon.”
The reason for her falling weak to this degree was her still being a Rank 0 Existence, he first had planned to help her ascend her Rank through The Mana Boost Method but recently had changed his mind seeing she was bordering Rank 1 either way. A whole surgery wasn’t necessary as of now.
He straightened his back and moved towards the other wall, his hand grabbing the back of his chair as he got seated. His back lay comfortably on his chair, his body was tired after all the fighting he had gone through but it was worth it as he could now..
A large blinding sword made pure light materialized in his hand, he without even applying any force gently lined the sword with the edge of the table, SIZZLE, the corner of the table was cut clean.
“Good.. but could be much better.” He got to working on a formation that would not only make it more stable but also stronger and mana efficient.
His hands took notes rapidly coming up with many designs merging some, scrapping most. Hours passed before he even noticed, his hand working non stop trying to catch up to his brain.
His ears perked causing him to look over his shoulder towards his bed, a gentle smile crept its way onto his face.
She slowly gained consciousness. First thing she noticed was her buzzing brain, it felt as if her skull was applying constant pressure on it. Her hand rose to hold her forehead, then panic took over as she hurriedly looked at her surroundings.
As she noticed her location was Isaiah’s room, it splashed water to her worries. She slowly turned her head to see a man sitting on a table near her bed, she couldn’t make out the figure due to not having her glasses on, but this didn't stop her lips to curve into a warm smile.
“Thank you, Sir.” Isaiah simply smiled in response while shaking his head. His hand went to the side to grab her glasses off the table. He walked towards her, first fixed her messy hair then put her glasses on for her.

Lily was already feeling a little flustered which doubled when Isaiah leaned closer to her. Their noses nearly touched, “Can you see clearly now?”, Lily feeling too embarrassed to respond verbally opted to nod meekly, “That's great, every woman deserves to see my handsome vessel” Isaiah said as he pulled back with a chuckle.
He went back to his table to get seated. He without even looking back told her, “Rest a bit more take this day off. Being under such strong pressure must have taken their toll on you.”, Lily nodded despite knowing his head wasn’t facing hers to see it.
She watched him work while laying on his bed, her thundering heartbeat didn’t slow down for a single second. Her mind was always wandering back to the fact that she was sleeping in her bosses bed.
Isaiah's attention had already gone back to his work. After a few more finishing touches the formation was already completed.
He opened his palm, lines started to draw as formations stacked upon each other. It soon resembled a tower made of warm light disks floating atop of each other, CRACK!
The formation had collapsed but the smile on Isaiah’s face didn’t, “Should be a success but its hard to tell before I get my hands on the real deal.”
While the formation had collapsed in truth, he knew that it wouldn’t make it for now. His plans included a hilt for this sword made from metals he had collected so far. While not so knowledgeable with metals of this planet, he knew how much money he had spat on them.
If he could make an empty hilt, he could place the formations within the hollow part of it while the metal that made the hilt worked as the foundation that ensured the stability of the formations. This would also insure he could go nuts when it came to mana consumption as special metals with higher mana conductivity needed less input to output more power.
He unfortunately wasn’t of earth nor fire element which was nearly a requirement for being able to forge weapons in this universe. While earth mages couldn’t manipulate metals directly without reaching Rank 3, their element still gave them insight with the metal they were working on. As for fire mages, they themselves were an oven, there wasn’t need to say much else about them.
Isaiah had actually tried to make a formation that would take in the mana from a fire mage he would hire and they would use the formation to create the hilt with his instructions.
Needless to say, making such a formation wasn’t currently in the books for him. While he had came up with various version which could be used to make some simple weapons he didn’t have knowledge about mana influenced metals to combine them together into a single reliable hilt,
Isaiah opened his vest to take out his formation card. He, unlike others, didn't need to dial in a number as the overseer of the entire formation network, “Scholar Jacob! I hope you are doing safe and well after the events of today.” He immediately began typing when the other side was connected, without the voice going through it was a bit awkward but Isaiah would fix that in the future.
Scholar Jacob’s response was slower due to him not being too used to this technology, “It's also great hearing news from you”, he then typed a laughing onomatopoeia as “HAHAHA, it's great being able to use a technology with its very own creator.”
Isaiah typed back, “Your words humble me. My reasoning for bothering you at this hour was to ask if you knew of any great blacksmiths that specialize in handling metals of various types?”
Scholar Jacob’s response this time was much faster compared to before, clearly having gotten used to it more, “Of course, I have great connections within The Royal Blacksmiths but first I have to ask them if they are willing to accept commissions… You know how they can be sometimes.”
