A few days had passed. Isaiah was spinning in his chair in his office which had been restored to its previous state.
In one of his hands was a notebook, in the other hand, he had a pen which he drew on the paper with. There were many images of formations on the paper, they were drawn in orderly columns. On closer inspection, one could make out that it was the same formation over and over again, just with simple tweaks.
He spun the pen between his fingers, deep in thought, "Hmm, this works but... would get decrypted in a few days in the hands of the right person."
He had applied various methods together to achieve the current effect of encryption. He first obviously made a bunch of needless paths and forms; this was step one. He had also delayed the response of certain parts of the formation, making it harder to pinpoint which parts resulted in the activation of which parts. Lastly, he split the formation into two parts, creating two layers and dozens of paths between the two layers of the same formation.
All of this resulted in a pretty hard formation to crack. However, it was still possible if someone proficient in formations gave it the time of day.
As he was deep in modifying this formation, his ears perked up. He heard the sound of heels coming outside his office and chatter, causing a smile to appear on his face.
He put down the notebook and the pen and waited for the person to announce themselves. Knock, knock, Lily spoke behind the door, "Ms. Farida came to visit your office, Sir."
Isaiah spoke in a loud but soft tone, "Let her in." His door was soon opened by Lily, who let Farida inside the office, then closed it back.
Isaiah's smile widened when his gaze fell upon Farida, "Farida, you are looking as beautiful as ever." He got up, fixed his suit, then moved next to her.
Farida nodded with a gentle smile on her face, "Your words warm my heart, Mr. Isaiah."
Isaiah opened the door for both of them as they exited the office, then the casino altogether. Farida had come to his office to take him to a meeting with the sole company that sold mana vehicles.
Isaiah carried a large suitcase in his hand, likely filled with ridiculous amounts of GC. They quickly made their way through the streets, arriving in front of a cafe shop.
Isaiah's eyes caught the mana vehicle parked in front of the café, likely to be the vehicle he was about to purchase today.
He opened the door and let Farida inside with a gesture, who kindly nodded to his gentlemanly gesture, he then followed her inside. They quickly made their way to the table where the meeting would take place, as it was quite obvious by the clothes of the people who occupied it.
The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
They all wore purple suits with even deeper purple accents; there were occasional streaks of gold all over the suit. Isaiah could easily sense that the main talks were going to be done with the woman who sat in the middle. She also wore the same suit, but hers was a mix of a suit and a dress. Isaiah could tell that it was really expensive, as the talent and time required for such a piece of clothing would be immense. It also complemented her amethyst eyes and blonde hair.
Seeing Isaiah approach them, the woman got up with her hand extended towards him, "Mr. Isaiah, my name is Alisha. I have heard so much about you." Isaiah shook her hand, with a smile on his face he responded, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Alisha." They then all got seated.
Isaiah put the suitcase on the table and opened its lid, exposing stacks of GC equaling 150k GC, causing Alisha to give a slight nod. Isaiah spoke, "I'm sure you haven't come all the way to another empire without vetting me first." He chuckled and continued, "While I would love to have a drink with you sometime in my casino, Ms. Alisha, I happen to have my hands full at the moment."
Alisha nodded, not minding it a bit, "A shame indeed, next time then." With that, she got up and led Isaiah in front of the vehicle, passed him the key, and started introducing it.
"While you have only ordered a first gen, our scientists, being huge fans of your formations, decided to upgrade yours to a third gen for free." This caused Isaiah to raise his eyebrows. "They either want to recruit me, or third gen vehicles have better encryption compared to first gen, and they are afraid of me decrypting it if they gave a first gen," he thought to himself, but outwardly said, "I hope you send my regards to them, then."
After a bit more small talk, the group soon departed, leaving only Isaiah and Farida. Isaiah turned to look at her and nudged his head, "Hop in." Farida did exactly that, to tell the truth she was excited to ride in a third gen mana vehicle.
Once they got in, Isaiah turned on the engine, "Where should I drop you off?" prompting a response from her, "I have some business on 1728th Street." Hearing it, he simply nodded and started to operate the machine. They zoomed through the streets at high speeds. Due to mana vehicles being new inventions, some roads didn't allow them to drive, but even then, in just five minutes, Isaiah arrived at 1728th Street. "I will see you later, then." Farida nodded, she was really impressed by the vehicle. Not being a combat mage, she wasn't used to such high speeds, causing her heart to pound wildly. "I hope to see you later, likewise, Mr. Isaiah."
After dropping her off, he sped his way through the streets back to his casino and parked in front of it. With the snap of his hand, the formation on top of the huge statue on top of the casino's hand activated.
BOOM, BOOM, huge fireworks flew into the air, exploding into a mesmerizing display of light. Since it was directly powered by Isaiah, he could even spell his name out, which he did. A huge explosion of light that spelled "ISAIAH" appeared in the sky.
With a chuckle, he went inside the underground parking lot of the casino. It wasn't that wide, mostly due to him having made it for himself.
He got out of the car once more and knelt next to the vehicle's tires, "Time to get to work." From the beginning, his entire reason for purchasing this vehicle was to decrypt it and possibly be able to manufacture it himself, but that was the long-term goal. Now what he wanted was to at least figure out how the encryption worked, to be able to apply it to his own formations.
