When Isaiah woke up, it was already afternoon. He yawned and stretched. Seeing the open window that let in the warm light, gave some inspiration.
He approached the window and then climbed to its edges. Two formations formed beneath his feet, and he walked off the window down into the street! Just as he started falling at a rapid rate, the formations activated and slowed his descent.
THUD, he fell perfectly, even his posture wasn't broken; he still stood tall. This made everyone near him give him looks, which they immediately retracted when they realized his status as Rank 1. This also caught the interest of Lily when a man fell from the sky right in front of the café. She promptly ran outside to look at what had happened, only to be greeted by the smug face of Isaiah. "Sir, you nearly took my heart out of my chest," she said, holding her chest. She thought someone had fallen right in front of the café and was heavily injured, but it was just another prank from her boss.
Seemingly hearing her thoughts, Isaiah told her, "It's not a prank; it's called training." With that, he went inside the café. However, he moved at a very slow speed, and his body didn't move at all! It was as if the ground was sliding beneath him. He looked like ice sliding on the ground. Lily watched this with wide eyes. "How!?" she exclaimed. She had seen a lot of Rank 1's before, but never something like this.
Isaiah stopped sliding and started walking. "It's magic. What do you mean, how?" he chuckled, purposely avoiding the question. This was the result of his findings from the mana vehicle so far. From the unencrypted part, he was able to use similar but simpler formations between both of his feet and move that way. While it seemed meaningless as currently, it was slower than simply walking; he knew its future was bright. It would give him a very powerful movement technique if developed well.
"Give me a coffee," he said as he got seated. "On it, Sir," Lily replied. She got busy preparing the coffee for him and soon brought it to him. But before he could have the chance to enjoy his coffee, a mana vehicle pulled in front of his café, and a beautiful woman with fiery crimson hair walked out. Her aura was approaching Rank 0 Peak but wasn't quite there. "My name is Flore, Sir Isaiah. Madam and Sir are waiting for you," she said respectfully. She hadn't expected Sir's nephew to be Rank 1 as well, but she tried to hide her shock.
"Sure, wait a moment," he said. He then floated the cup behind the counter near Lily. He didn't do this out of the goodness of his heart, he was already looking for excuses to train his mana. The cup moved at a surprising speed and silently took its place atop the counter. Lily expected a few drops to have spilled just because of the speed at which the cup had floated, but she could see none. With that, Isaiah entered the vehicle.

Flore also entered the vehicle and started driving. She couldn't hold her praise and said, "Sir, your mana mastery is astonishing." Her excitement was evident in her tone, even though she tried to hide it to remain professional. Hearing her try to hide her excitement made him chuckle. "It's passable, nowhere near my uncle's," he said. He wasn't surprised at her excitement, for an average Rank 0; the simple trick he just did was their dream.
The ride was quiet. They soon arrived in front of a large mansion. It was built from dark silver, but it still shone just like the rest of the buildings, creating a magical contrast between the highlights and its dark silver material. Flore said with a smile, "We have arrived. It was a pleasure meeting you, Sir Isaiah." Isaiah had already gotten outside of the vehicle, but he turned to look at her from the window. "The pleasure was mine, Flore," he said with a wink. This gesture made her heart flutter, and her cheeks blush. It was best not to forget the fact that Isaiah was a young, rich, and talented young man. He was most young girls' like Flore's dream man.
He moved towards the mansion's massive door. Just as he was expecting to be greeted by a maid or a butler, his running aunt jumped on him. "You have finally arrived!" she exclaimed, kissing his cheeks. Then, holding his hand, she took him next to his uncle. "Uncle, long time no see!" Isaiah said while he shook the man's hand while patting his shoulder, even though they had done business just yesterday, which resulted in laughter from his uncle. "Come, sit down. I have made them prepare a feast for you," he gestured for him to sit.
They got seated at the large, luxurious table. Isaiah turned to look at the man. "Did you handle what I asked of you?" he inquired, which made Louie laugh. "You are all business, no fun," he said. He turned to the butler and nudged his head, which prompted the butler to bring a stack of documents. "I have managed to find the highest bidders and their personal information," he told Isaiah, who took the documents.
"Your two largest competitors are Lexus Star and Jacob House," Louie said, causing Isaiah to raise an eyebrow. "Hmm, the two largest names in the Second Emperor district. I was not expecting them to be interested. This will make it difficult to outbid them," he thought for a while, then asked, "Do you know what they are planning to build?"
"Star is planning to build the largest brothel in the entire district, while I couldn't obtain trustworthy information about House's plans. People suspect he is planning to open a large club there," his uncle replied. Hearing this, Isaiah tapped his fingers on the table while deep in thought. He looked through the information his uncle had gathered, his eyes fixated on their addresses and other personal information. "Seems like I will have to dirty my hands," he thought to himself.
