It had been four days since his uncle and aunt visited him, and he was still waiting for news regarding the delivery of the text subjects from his uncle. Meanwhile, he had managed to get to where he wanted to be with the method he had chosen. All that was left was to wait for his uncle to reach out to him.
He wore a more casual outfit this time, a dark grey button-up with silver stripes traditional to the Silver Empire, under it he wore black shorts and sandals, the weather was starting to heat up due to the empire's maritime climate.
He noticed that people outside also wore less clothing than normal. He went down the stairs and directly went into his shop which was already opened up. Isaiah had asked his uncle for good employee recommendations and he had sent Lily over, Louie told him he would need an accountant and a secretary in the future, and in the meantime, Lily would be able to handle both.
Lily stood out like a thorn on a rose from the pastel brown colored insides of the café, she sat on a chair, her soul-taking purple eyes on numerous documents and taking notes, her black hair was tied into a tight ponytail to not get in the way, she wore a simple dress that hugged her body tightly showing off her curves. She had peachy lips and a small beauty mark below her right eye.
Upon seeing Isaiah enter the shop Lily quickly got up to greet him, after arriving in front of him she bent her knees gracefully and leaned her head forward to give a little bow, "Welcome back, Sir Isaiah.", she looked into his eyes, trying to evaluate his reaction, she wanted to get to know her new employer better.
As she arrived in front of him, the smell of her floral perfume entered his nose. Seeing her beautiful purple eyes look into his, made a small smile form onto his face "No need for the 'Sir Isaiah', it's too long. Either call me Sir or just Isaiah", he told her.
Lily nodded "Of course, Sir", Lily was caught off guard at how casual her new boss was, her worry about him being arrogant due to being wealthy at a young age turned out to be unfounded.
Isaiah said in a joking tone "If all goes well you will work for me till death does us part", he then chuckled.
His joke made Lily chuckle as well, her chuckles were like a cascade of tinkling bells, rich and warm, a sonata to Isaiah's ears. While Isaiah's tone was joking he had meant every word he said, just like the name suggested a secretary would know her boss's most important information, the fewer secretaries he had the better. He had spent thousands of years together with his secretary, Almena, before his transmigration. While he doubted Lily was fit to fill her shoes yet, he would slowly groom her into it.

He got seated and soon Lily served him a hot cup of tea and went back to her work. Just as Isaiah was enjoying his tea while observing his surroundings and his café bustling with life, his attention was stolen by the chime of the bells that came from the door, in walked his uncle, Louie.
Louie looked around the busy café, his eyes searching for Isaiah, when he found him, he started to walk towards him with a smile on his face, "It seems like business is bustling. What did you do to it?"
Isaiah didn't answer his question directly instead called for Lily with his finger and told her when she arrived, "Lily, could you bring me and my uncle two '1001 Nights'."
The item's name caught Louie's attention, which was normal without prior knowledge of the existence of the stories from Isaiah's previous life, it sounded a little random.
Soon the drinks arrived and Louie took a sip, a wide smile formed on his face, he couldn't help but take another sip immediately after "It has such a diverse taste, spicy at first then bitter with a sweet aftertaste.", he smiled "No wonder the business is booming."
He pointed towards the backroom, "Grab your drink and let's talk in the back, it's crowded today.", however he didn't touch his drink and instead left it there.
Louie followed him with his drink in his hand as they got seated in the backroom, shortly after Lily brought Isaiah's drink to him, "Thank you" he said with a simple smile and turned his attention back to his uncle.
"Since you are here, I will assume it's ready right?" He asked while sipping his drink.
Louie nodded, but his eyes looked at Lily standing next to Isaiah, even though he was the one that recommended her he wasn't sure about her overhearing this conversation.
Isaiah spoke to his worries "She is fine." and gestured for him to continue with a wave of his hand.
Deciding to trust the judgment of his nephew, Louie spoke, "It's indeed ready, they have prepared a small lab for you inside the mana mines, and the convicts are stationed there", he took a sip then continued "A woman will come to pick you up early tomorrow morning, she will guide you to the mana mines as it's a rather dangerous place for a Rank 0 like you.", he smiled "If all goes well you won't stay a Rank 0".
"Don't worry, as long as everything is prepared the rest can be handled by me", he paused for a little and asked "You're sure we can trust this woman?" he inquired about her identity.
Louie nodded "She is a Rank 1 government official, she will both show you the way to the lab and protect you within it, she can be trusted." Louie took another sip but the glass was empty.
"Seems you liked it. How about turning this place into a chain?" he asked not wasting the opportunity.
Louie chuckled at the opportunistic nature of his nephew and told him as he slowly got up, "First reach Rank 1, then we can talk about the investments. I'm waiting for your good news." With that he said his goodbyes and left the café.
Isaiah soon left the café to Lily and went back home, after a quick shower he wore fresh clothes and lay on the bed, he closed his eyes, his mind envisioning his plans, waiting for tomorrow to arrive.
