Isaiah didn't really have any personal experiences when it came to Royal Blacksmiths but he could guess why they might be hard to work with by relying on his past life's experiences.
It was most likely a case of a government backed monopoly. Where, The Empire employs the Royal Blacksmiths so they aren't in need of any money in the first place, and when it comes to taking commissions they are exempt from market regulations and can just agree upon a minimum price amongst themselves.
This created ridiculous prices for high-end weapons. Which at first glance might seem like a negative for the empire but it was an intentional move on the Emperor's part. He both didn't want high-end weapons in the hands of lower-class but also wanted The Royal Blacksmiths to focus their efforts on making weapons for the army. He was essentially playing both parties like puppets.
Isaiah responded back to Scholar Jabob, “That’s fine, I’m expecting your good news. Do tell them I’m willing to pay whatever amount they might have in mind.” Isaiah wasn’t planning on mincing his money currently. He planned to get the commission done even if it was over the market value as its value for him was much higher. Not everything's worth could be deduced from looking at the market, or one could say the market wasn’t as one dimensional as one could mistake it for.
After Scholar Jabob promised to return back to him in at least 4 days and a bit more small talk about formations and business, they cut the connection.
Isaiah laid his back on his chair, his body relaxed as he began to practice his vortex mana circulation technique. Coupled with his new mana tempering ring it resulted in miraculous results, his mana was surprisingly potent for a Rank 1 Middle Existence.
Obviously due to his lacking talent in mana sense, it wasn’t the best it could be but getting this far was already highly impressive for someone with a mana sense as poor as his.
He turned his attention to the ring he wore in his ring finger. While the actual ingredients it was made of was unknown, it looked silver with green and purple lights shimmering inside it like serpents.
He encapsulated the ring with his mana to inspect its inner workings but his mana couldn’t pierce through it nor could he gain any meaningful insight, “How surprising, I was sure it used formations turns out I was proven wrong”, While he couldn’t gain much information about it, the ring probably wasn’t made using formations. Which was both a blessing and a curse, on one hand it was a shame he couldn’t reverse engineer to get his hands on such advanced formation knowledge. On the other hand, while not now, this ring could help him learn an entirely new branch of mana technology in the future.

Talking about the ring, due to all the money he had spent during the auction he was bordering being broke once more. It was a semi-monthly routine for him to go broke these days, but each time the amount he spent would increase. Meaning, he was on his way up all things considered. If he spent more money each time, that meant he made more money each time as well.
He looked back to his bed to notice at some point Lily had sneaked away. Well, not like it had really escaped his senses, he just had not minded it too much.
He let himself fall onto his bed, sleep quickly took his consciousness due to how much toll today’s events took on his body.
DING, DING, DING, he was awoken by the sound of his formation card ringing. Sun entered his room through the window providing a nice ,serene natural lighting.
Just as he was wondering who it might be, he saw the words “Scholar Jabob” written on his formation card. Pleasantly surprised by the man's efficiency, he accepted the communication request, “Good morning, I didn’t expect you to call back so soon. I hope it's good news.”
“Good Morning arrives with Good news indeed, Hahahaha.” Isaiah couldn't believe the man's unfunny attempts at jokes and hoped it was just the fact that his humor didn’t translate through text, “Well, I already had a prior meeting with a Royal Blacksmith today. You should know that us Royal Formation Masters work closely with other fields due to our formations flexible usage cases” Isaiah nodded, hoping he would arrive at his point.
“Long story short, I mentioned how I got a call from you and told her that you were looking for a Royal Blacksmith to commission. She immediately agreed, not only that but she seemed to be a huge fan of yours.” Isaiah predicted as much, his formation card was truly a work of a master, especially when it came to its decryption tech.
“Thanks, when and where can I meet her?” Isaiah asked the important questions, “She expects to receive you in Royal Blacksmith’s Palace today.”, Having learned the location and time from the man, Isaiah didn’t idle for much longer, “I won’t forget this favor, Scholar Jabob”, and ended the call after saying his goodbyes.
He took a quick shower and got into fresh clothes, an all sleek black suit with golden accents. He put on his sunglasses and exited his room, on his way he didn’t forget to visit his favorite secretary.
Tap, tap, “You seem to be doing much better.” Lily lifted her gaze to see Isaiah in sunglasses, dressed to the tee. As their gazes lined up, Isaiah couldn’t help but give her a little wink, “I’m doing much better, Sir.”
Isaiah nodded, leaving her to go back to her work as he descended the stairs to his garage. He got into his mana vehicle and input mana to start its formations.
The journey took a lot longer than usual as there was lots of construction going around as a result of many buildings being destroyed just by getting grazed by Rank 3 Aura.
When he arrived at his destination, he got out of his vehicle to take a good look at the Royal Blacksmiths’ Palace. It was a red building with gold decorations all around, with a size worthy of being called a palace. It housed a huge main dome with eighth towers surrounding the dome.
