I knda just left this at the end, for a few reasons. I enjoyed writing this, but looking back, it wasn't what I wanted.
Eletronic Pulse was a place to mess with ideas. I had never written Sci-Fi before, nor had I properly written Romance either. While this was a great opportunity to come up with fantastical devices and cute moments, I couldn't settle on an antagonist to keep the story moving, which I regret now.
There was also people's confusion regarding Sam. It all came from a silly idea, as to why I stuck to neutral pronouns... I wanted the reader to decide, rather than me. I wanted to see how many people saw them as male, how many as female, and maybe even neither! This never came to be, as nobody really... Told me what they saw. Sam was fun to write, but the experiment never bore fruit, as the comments were left barren.

So, during those final chapters, I had no tension in the story, no indication readers were anticipating what came next, and I was running out of ideas I wanted to toy with. While I had plans on detailing what happened to Yuki, the path to getting there wasn't going to work, and I had burnt out. It was time to put the story away.
Since then, I have had a lot of upds and downs, and have been to busy to write, but perhaps I should reconsider. I have another romance idea boiling in the back of my mind (One with a more defined plot arc, characters, and set on a familiar present-day Earth), but I haven't had it in me to start writing again.
So, with that, I am officially laying Eletronic Pulse to rest as a fun write, but not a thrilling read. If people have any favourite moments, please let me know, as I will try and keep that style in my writing if I ever start back up again!
