Alex fell face-first onto the matress, groaning as they relaxed slowly. Jolana sat down softly, giggling, "Glad that's over, huh?"
"Yup. I have been fretting about his reaction since we made the decision to tell him..."
Leaning over, Jolana rubbed a hand over Alex's back with a gentle smile, "I could tell, with all the silent musing you have been doing. Tom seems to be okay with us, for now."
"Which is great, on it's own... He is fun to have around." Chuckling, Alex rolled over, wiggling to comfortable on the bed, "It would be great if he did agree to help us, though. Who else could be we turn to?"
Jolana pouted, poking Alex slightly, "Don't underestimate my dad~ He might be... Less well-known that Tom, but he can put in a good word with the right people." Sighing, she laid down next to Alex, leaning softly with a content smile, "But... Tom would be... Well, people would accept his word easier, especially since he knows some of them personally."
As Alex laughed softly with a nod, Jolana hummed, thinking on it further, "We should get as many people backing us as we can, though... The council is much more likely to beleive a larger crowd. Ren is a good reference, if only he was more well-known... Sam might be, as well? Only because of the recent surge of attention, though..."
"Hadn't thought of that... I had just assumed all the goodwill from releasing the OHPS publicly would be ruled out by being my creator?"
"You are kinda right there... People are much too wary of 'too good to be true'. But, alongside Ren and Tom... Dr Elune wanting to advance us a society is much more beleivable."
"Yeah, I suppose so." Alex tilted their head to the side as they considered more options, "Say... what about Max?"
"Hmm? Oh, he isn't very well known either... The real problem is actually the opposite, for if he disapproves."

Alex sat up slightly, smiling nervously, "Because he knows how AI work, to a degree?"
"No... Because he is more cautious than Tom." Furrowing her brow, Jolana grumbled, "And, he has many more military contacts then Tom, should he decide we are in over our heads..."
Dry swallowing, Alex groaned as they eased back down, hugging Jolana softly, "That's... Good to know. Do you think we should convince the council first then, or...?"
"No." Jolana firmly shook her head, "We would need to fully convince the council first, and get their protection in order for that to work... Max only needs to make one phone call, and we have a fleet of very dangerous ships headed our way from the outer Relay Ring. Max needs to be convinced first."
"... Okay." Ruffling Jolana's hair, Alex grinned, "Has he asked when to come over next yet, by the way?"
"Nope. Knowing him, though... He won't be coming around for another day or two, due to his reguilar schedule. We can start our planning tomorrow."
"Great. I feel way too drained after being on edge around Tom..." Easing back into the bed, Alex stretched out with a groan.
Smirking as she leaned over Alex, Jolana nodded, hair falling in a curtain around her face, "So then, to help you relax... You can either tell more of those embarrasing adventures of the 'Norman' unit that you were telling Tom... Or, you can keep that promise from before..."
Blinking in surprise, Alex looked up at her, "Promise? I don't..." Remembering, Alex blushed, hugging her close with a nod, "... Oh. I guess I should~"
Giggling happily, Jolana kissed Alex on the forehead, then hopped up to check the door, "Just what I wanted to hear~ Now... Let's see how you handle things this time around, hmm?"
