Dr Elune bowed slightly as the door opened, Ren walking past with a smile, "Hello, Jolana. I think this is the first time we have met in person."
Stepping aside to let the service drones unload her luggage, Jolana smiled, "Hello, Ren! It certainly has been a while... And we did breifly meet at that summit on... I think it was data transmittion?"
Ren nodded as he walked beside her, Dr Elune falling in behind them, "Ah, right. We didn't get to talk much, though. You have a marvelous home, by the way."
Jolana smirked, glancing around, "I see you two have already gotten into rennovation mode... My father will be delighted to have all your gadgets installed. I am curious to use these projectors, myself."
Dr Elune grinned proudly, opening the door to the study, "Well, we had gotten a little too used to certain luxuries while out on my station. I am sure you will find a few surprises, while you let us stay here."
Laughing, Jolana sat in one of the armchairs with a nod, "Quite a few... I must admit, I have a few questions for you already."
Dr Elune raised an eyebrow, Ren calmly waving, "Ask away. I'm sure Sam here won't be shy."
Taking a moment to look back and forth between the two, Jolana hummed quietly, "Dr Elune coming here is one thing... Those projectors have been quite the point of interest. Half the articles I saw floating around since I got back are to do with them." Looking to Ren, she frowned, "And while you and my father have long been good aquaintences, you aren't the type to visit. You also had no part in those projectors, did you?"
Ren chuckled, "See, most people don't think that far. Our true reason for being here, and for working together... Is a little different." Turning to Sam, Ren coughed, "Do you, uh, still have that modified drone?"
Dr Elune tilted their head, then smiled broadly, "Ohhh, that one." Looking up at the corner of the room, the doctor called out, "Alex, are these things wired up yet?"
After a moment, a slightly crackly voice replied, "Mostly, doctor. Need to fix some of the connections. I'll have the buff-drone over in a moment."
As Jolana looked puzzled, Dr Elune grinned, "Alex is my trusted assistant. I often have Alex on call over the network, makes things easier."

Jolana nodded, hesitating before deciding to simply wait for them to continue. She did not wait long, as the doors soon opened, Alex walking in with the buff-drone wheeling in behind, arms flexing slowly as it stopped in the middle of the room.
As Jolana giggled at the sight, Alex bowed, "Hello. I am Alex, and should you need anything from our labs, please come to me. I am more... Well, I know where everything is." Turning to the doctor, Alex gestured to the drone, "The arms are a bit stiff from under use... But the drone is still functional."
Grinning, Dr Elune waved at one of the empty seats, "Come, sit down. I'm sure you have a moment." As Alex nodded, headed for the chair, Dr Elune turned back to their host, "Now then. Those arms haphazardly attached to this drone are part of project AHOR... In short, advanced cybernetics."
As Jolana clapped, the leant forward to stare at the drone, "This, this makes more sense... Ren would have been a huge help. Is this the latest model?"
Glancing at Ren, the doctor shook their head, "No. This is an early prototype, from before Ren even joined. We have a full body prototype stored on our shuttle, designed to replicate human function... This allows us to make individual parts, for peronal application, after testing them as a whole."
Jolana leant back, humming thoughtfully, "This would be a very impressive invention indeed... One I sense is not yet ready?" As the doctor nodded, she continued, "I can see why you are keeping this under wraps, then... How well does the unit react?"
Ren spoke up, "Well, we have run some simple usage tests on the completed body, and it performs slightly above human capabilities, nothing particularly out of place. The main thing we have been working on is nerve integration... We are still testing on the bonding process of the limbs."
Smiling thoughtfully, Jolana nodded, "I'm glad I will get to see this... Something tells me you lot will be an interesting show to watch."
As Alex relaxed slightly, Ren grinned wide, "Oh, don't you worry... Our plans will take us on quite the ride."
