Ch 36: Asking for trouble

"... Do you have to squirm?"

"Only while I have the sensors on. This... Is most unpleasant."

Sighing, Dr Elune put down the needle, "Well, at least this confirms some things."

Ren looked up from the terminal, "Besides satisfactory nervous responses?"

"Pschological, moreso. Also, I suck at Acupuncture."

"Take more lessons from Akasha, then." Laura grinned from the other side of the operating table, borrowed from the med bay, "Besides, she may enjoy your company."

"Not now, Laura... As good a point that may be. Also... These mini-wounds are bleeding slightly."

Ren tapped on his monitor, "No sign of wound closure, either. We can apply the solutions here to each, and see the results."

Dr Elune dabbed a swab in the first solution, and gently rubbed it over the first little pinprick on the Norman model's arm. "This is so weird. Especially with you looking like that."

Alex rolled his eyes, "Can I go back to my other body now? This is weird for me too."

"... Not yet." Grinning wide, Dr Elune picked up a tiny mallet, "More tests! Now, roll over."

"Uhh. Uhhhhh. Should we... Leave?"

"... Possibly. Not yet, though."

Laura held her hands up, "Nope. Whole lot of nope. Record this on your own. And don't show me."

"No deal. I am totally going to send you the files." Grinning, Dr Elune helped Alex roll over, "Besides... After a little bit, I'll have Alex swap bodies. This would be too creepy otherwise."

Stolen story; please report.

Ren was already by the door, smirking as he held it open for Laura, "You two have fun."

As the door shut behind the others, Alex fidgeted on the bench, "Why can't I swap over now?"

"Amusement at your squirming, mainly. Make sure to record everything, as this is still technically for science."

"... Yes, doctor."

Tapping lightly along Alex's back with the mallet, Dr Elune hummed as they went along. Alex shivvered lightly at every tap, he glanced back with a grimace, "This too, is uncomfortable... But in a much different way."

"Thought it would be. Unlike the needles though... This discomfort will fade." Putting the mallet to the side, Dr Elune gently placed their hands across his shoulders, "And this should be rather pleasant for you, hehe."

Blushing faintly, Alex tensed upat the doctor's touch, groaning as they started kneading his back softly, "I have never had a massage before... I think I can see why Laura reacts the way she does."

"Glad to hear it. Now... As I am massaging you... Turn the other body on."

"... Excuse me?"

"We are going to test how easily you can split your attention! Don't forget the station, though."

"Oh, the station will be fine. It's me I'm worried about."

"Trust me... What's the worst that could happen?"
