After the Messenger responds to the Superiors' greeting of killing intent and "Welcome back" with a bow. The Messenger then stands back up and says to the Superior "I have inspected both the outpost and base and have important information to report."
The Superior laughs "Does this report include giving orders without permission?" The Messenger feels another burst of killing intent and defends himself "When you hear my report, you will understand why the orders needed to be given."
The Superior responds "Your explanation better be amazing." The Superior then sits up more in his chair "You know what will happen to you if it isn't amazing, don't you?" The Messenger responds "Yes, I know." The Superior then releases some of his killing intent allowing the Messenger to speak easier and saying "Let's hear your report."
The Messenger begins immediately "I first arrived to the outpost to find that it had been attacked and destroyed. Everyone was dead as well as everything was burnt to the ground." The Messenger sees the questioning and surprised look on the Superiors face.
"After investigation further it appeared that what ever attacked was able to kill one horns in a single attack. It was also able to take on a one and a half horn in what appeared to be a one on one." This caused more shock in the Superior and made him start to become more interested in this report.
As before he believed it to only be a case of a Messenger having their power going to their head. The Messenger continued "After I had completed my investigation I arrived at the base. When I got there, I informed them of this mysterious attacker, and was informed that they had been attacked recently and more than once. This left them with part of there wall being burned down, which they said would be repaired before night fall. Also, the attack had left them with a few injured men that had been infected by something. These men passed as I was there and was informed of the symptoms which seemed familiar. I rushed back to the outpost and found bodies matching what killed the men at the base. This led me to think that it was the same attacker at both places and I gave them orders to try to find this attacker and take care of him. The Chief agreed and would be sending out troops at first light. That will be all, Superior."
The Superior looks at him and says "Well congratulations, you get to walk out of here, but you're not out of the water. If that Chief fails then it is on you understood ""Yes, understood" the Messenger responds.
The Superior then thinks for a second before saying "Did you happen to bring any of the infected back?" The Messenger responds with "Yes'' and the Superior nods and says "Your good to go."

The Messenger walks out of the office and mutters "That Chief better not fail." When the Messenger leaves the Superior gets a device and starts talking while smiling.
Back with Jace he completes the disease core and arrives in the room. Jace standing there feels a little nervous so he takes a deep breath. 'It will be fine, just don't make the same mistake as last time'. Jace now once again grabs everything from Splitter V3 and attaches it to the new disease core.
This goes smoothly and Jace moves to Splitter V2. Jace grabs the symptom to mutate the mana of the infected and attaches it to the new disease core. While doing this Jace is shaking a little bit, but it attaches smoothly and with no issues.
Jace then stands there and laughs a little "Man, I guess that explosion messed with me more than I thought, but it is probably a good thing because now I will be more careful'. Jace then walks back over to Splitter V2 and stands there thinking. 'Now comes the choice. What symptom should I take, or should I even take a symptom at all?'.
Jace then starts to go through all his pros and cons with each choice. 'If I leave it as it is then I will be able to make it more potent and dangerous, but that might lead to the infected dying too early and the disease not spreading. Increasing the spread in the body does much of the same thing as increasing its potency, but not as well as it isn't a direct increase. That leaves me with lowering the immunity of the infected, which would have a similar effect as the first two, however it would help with taking down the more powerful demons that have a more powerful immunity'.
Jace then decides to grab the symptom to lower the immunity of the infected. He then walks over and attaches the symptom, this time he was even more nervous as if he was not correct he would be injured once again. Jace however feels no instability and he immediately completes the disease creation.
Jace hears the notification that makes him finally relax "Ding, chose a name for a newly created disease." Jace answers "Splitter V4." Jace then opens his eyes and stands up to stretch, waking up Reaper. Jace then as usual after creating a new disease opens up his status to check it. When he sees the new screen he smiles 'Those demons are toast'.
Splitter V4 (Level 1.5 E)
Symptom 1:Lowers immunity of infected by 3%.
Symptom 2:Increases spread of disease in body by 1%
Symptom 3:Makes the mana in your body start to mutate to break apart your bones, damage vital organs, and muscles within 2 days.
Spread: Transfers through touch and air with a 25% infection rate. Increased to 50% infection rate within 24 hours of contraction.
Jace, seeing this upgrade, starts thinking. 'It is perfect for me. This way even if it doesn't kill them, their muscles will be destroyed, leading to an easier time fighting them'.
Jace elated that he was able to create a disease that was almost perfect for him, heads to bed. Meanwhile on the planet the black fog figure was also elated at the news he had just received.
