The 2 heads and aid watch as the Chief and Messenger come back out of the tent. When they do the Messenger says "I will report back to base and inform them of the plan." The Chief nods and says "Have a safe journey."

The Messenger then gets on his transport machine and takes off. After the Messenger disappeared the Chief turns around and beckons the heads and aid to come inside the tent.

They walk in to the Chief pulling out a map of Michigan much like the one at the main demon base, it also marked their location with a red dot.

The Chief lays the map across the desk and weighs it down to stop it from curling. After he does this he looks with a smile to the heads and aid. The Chief then says "We have decided the best way to deal with this threat is to take it head on.

That means finding, attacking, and killing, our favorite thing to do." The Chief then looks back at the map and starts to point and mark it. "The Messenger said that the outpost was located here. The Messenger also said that it appeared that what destroyed the outpost came from this direction. If we then look at the direction of the attacks on our base, we get an area to search."

The Chief then marked a big circle on the map before looking back at the heads and aid. "All this making sense to you guys?." They all respond "Yes, Chief." The Chief then goes back to explaining the plan.

"Investigation head you will be out in the field with me as an advisor, stay back to talk some of the specifics of the plan. Understood?" The Investigation head responds "Understood, Chief."

The Chief then turns to the aid saying "I am planning to make this a 3 night cycle journey, so aid gather the necessary supplies." The Aid says "Yes, Chief" before running out to gather the supplies. The Chief turns finally to the Defense head.

"I am leaving you in charge of the base with the Medical head as well as with the aid. I expect to come back to a base that is in the same condition that I left or better. If I come back to something else, you die first. Understood?"

The Defense head swallows with a chill down his back before responding "Understood Chief, same condition as you left it or better." The Chief then sends out the Defense head after telling him "Inform the aid to gather the base for another meeting tonight."

Jace was looking at the time while Reaper took down another demon diseased wolf below him. 'Looks like it is time to head back as it is getting late and my mana recovered enough to make another disease core'.

Jace then climbs back down the tree as Reaper flies to him. Jace then starts walking away when he has an idea. 'As much as I think I am going to hate it, I need a food source for when my canned food runs out'. Jace then walks over to the biggest wolf that appears to be in good shape and picks it up.

'I really wonder where these came from as normally I don't see wolves. I also wonder if they ate everything else in the forest. I haven't seen anything, but them since before the invasion'. Reaper, seeing Jace grab the wolf, becomes confused and chirps. Jace answers "I am going to process its meat to see if it is edible."

Reaper then chirps a confirmation and after some travel they arrive back at the home base. Jace, now arriving, stops and scratches his head. 'Where am I going to put and store this beast'. After some looking Jace decides to try to put it up a tree a little distance from the safe house.

Jace manages to get it up the tree and secure it just before the sun sets completely. Jace finishing with everything he needed to do begins what he had been looking forward to since the incident. 'Finally, I am able to improve Splitter V3." Jace then begins once again creating a disease core.

Back at the demon base everyone was once again gathered in a half circle around the demon Chiefs tent. The Chief walks out once again flanked by the heads of the departments and the aid.

The Chief begins with " As you all know 3 great men died today due to attacks by an attacker that is too scared to show his face. I have decided that this attacker deserves to be punished for sins they have committed. What is the punishment for these sins?."

The Chief pauses for a moment before yelling "His punishment is death brought by our hands!!!" This declaration of war brought cries from the demons that shook the trees around the base. After the demons managed to calm down the Chief began speaking again.

"Tomorrow squads 2, 3, and 4 will head out with me and the Investigation head to find this attacker at first light. The rest will stay at the base and defend it under the command of the Defense and Medical head as well as the aid. That is all, everyone has the rest of the daylight off of work to get ready."

This was met with some grumbling from demons that were annoyed they couldn't go on the excursion, but everyone was happy that they didn't need to go back to work. After the demons left the the Medical head and Chief went into the tent.

The Medical head then started his report. "It is better than it first appeared, Chief. There were only 5 men infected and they are now being closely monitored." The Chief nods "Good" and then menacingly says "I believe that there will be no mistakes this time?"

The Medical head shivers and responds "Yes, no mistakes, Chief." This happens around the same time that the Messenger arrives back to the massive home base.

The Messenger walks into the Superiors office and feels an immense killing intent that sends shivers down his spine. He is then met with the Superior greeting him with "Welcome back."
