Jace wakes up to sunlight hitting his tent. Jace then gets out of his tent and is met with Reapers chirping once again. Jace says "I know, I know, you're hungry" as he gets out breakfast for the two of them.

They eat and as Jace is packing up he hears the sound of voices from the woods. Jace finishes and gets moving quickly, heading in the direction of the safe house with Reaper sleeping peacefully.

At the base that morning there was 3 military squads standing at the front gate. In Front of them is Bob who starts his speech. "We are looking for a supernatural! You are to bring them back alive! I want you back before nightfall so don't travel too far!"

After this Bob walks away and the squads are let out of the gate. When Bob arrives at his office another man walks in. Bob looks at him and asks "What do you want?" The man looks at Bob saying "Why are you trying so hard to find this kid?"

Bob responds " That kid was able to take out a group of 3 armed men in a second. Also, Steve said his wounds were not normal and if it was anyone else they would have died on the spot."

This makes the man nod but ask "So if this kid is so powerful, what makes you think you will be able to capture and contain him?"

This makes Bob respond with "Well I need to at the very least try to capture him right? And to keep him under control, I have my ways." After this the man walks away and Bob gets back to work.

Jace continues to outrun the search parties till sundown. When sundown comes Jace finds a good camping site. Jace then sends Reaper to fly off to check the perimeter.

Jace then waits in a tree till Reaper comes back and lands on Jace's shoulder with a chirp. This gives the okay for Jace who sets up the tent.

After Jace finishes, the two of them eat dinner and Jace heads to bed with Reaper keeping guard.

Back at the save zone the 3 military squads arrive back empty handed. In Bob's office Steve is sitting across the desk from Bob. Bob begins saying to Steve "When is the kid coming back for the stitches."

Steve responds "The kid will be back in a week." Bob nods "Okay, Steve you're good to go." Steve gets up and walks out of the office. After Steve leaves Bob turns to the window and watches the sun set once again.

Jace arrives back to his safe house without any problems. When he does he sighs in relief that everything went well and that he was able to be treated. Jace and Reaper then both decide that unpacking can wait and that sleeping comfortably was best.

The next morning Jace wakes up to Reaper's usual routine of chirping on his chest. After Jace gets up and goes through the normal routine with Reaper, he decides what to do next while looking at a map.

'I should check out this subdivision here as it is close to the demon hole and the demons could have done something'. Jace points at a place around a 4 hour journey from him. After deciding Jace sets off on his journey.

Jace arrives in the area but stops around 500 feet from the destination as he hears something. What Jace hears seems to be the sounds of hammering as it was a loud booming sound. Jace then quickly climbs up a tree to inspect the area.

Jace then sees something that makes him sigh. Jace sees sprawled before him a massive demon base. The base had to be at least a mile in every direction. What surprised Jace was that there was a fully complete perimeter wall that was 20 feet high.

There were tents for what seemed to go forever. Jace continues to observe then sees what the hammering sound was. The demons were standing around the perimeter wall erecting watchtowers.

They had not completed any yet, however Jace could see that they would be massive. Jace, finishing his observation, decides what he should do. Jace then decides that the old reliable of a diseased throwing knife would be best.

Jace then gets out the throwing knives and applies the Disease Blade. Jace then lines up the shot to be in a crowded area of demons and sends out the throwing knives.

Jace however doesn't stay to see if any of the Disease Blades hit because it was so packed missing was basically impossible. Jace then quickly gets away as he hears an eruption of sound from the demon base.

As Jace was escaping at one of the watch towers yells erupted. This yelling prompted the main Leader of the base come out to see what the problem was. The demon was a few inches bigger than the other demons beside him.

The demon had as well two horns as well as a little bump of a third. When the demon arrived at the scene everything went quiet. The demon sees a few demons standing infront of him with foreign objects protruding from them.

The demon asks in a deep voice "What happened here?" The injured demons responded "We were attacked, chief." The Chief then yells "Attacked?!?!" This sets all the other demons into a frenzy to grab their weapons.

The Chief yells "Everyone to defense positions! We are under attack!" All the demons all over the base start to move and get onto the perimeter wall. The Chief then turns to the injured demons "Go to the medical tent to get checked out."

The injured demons nod and walk away. After this the Chief then moves to his position to command the demons. After a few minutes of tense waiting and anticipation the Chief gets a report that tracks suggest that the attackers ran away.

This information then makes the Chief order "Everyone back to work! The attacker has retreated! I repeat everyone back to work!" The demon all put away their weapons and the hammering starts again. While in the Chiefs tent there was a serious discussion.
