Jace wakes up in what appears to be the same room as when he activated Disease Creation's insight. The black box was in the middle of the room so Jace heads to it and enters his mana.

The projection appears with the voice of the God of Abnormalities speaking to Jace. "Hello, Jace, welcome to the second creation power, the power to create hexes." "I have already explained how to use this box and how to access the instructions before, but if you need a refresher please touch the rune on the bottom of the box."

Jace sits down to watch the projection as it goes to the first set of instructions. "A friendly reminder before we start, to please watch all the instructions before you start the process." The God of Abnormalities then paused "For hex creation the first step is finding what you want the effect of the hex to be. An example is your exploding hex, which the effect is an explosion."

Jace sitting there thinks 'that couldn't be too hard'. The God of Abnormalities calls him out "you may not think that it is that hard, however it is a lot harder than you would expect. That's for later however back to thinking of what you want the effect of your hex to be. For you right now you want to think of simpler ideas and effects. You also need to know a little about the effect you want to create before you choose it to create a hex."

The projection then cuts out to the next step. "The second step is one of the hardest which is to create a hex formula. How you create a hex formula is you take your effect and make it into an image that mana can follow to get your desired effect. For example I couldn't use your exploding hex's formula to make an arrow of air. I might be able to make a blast of air with the formula, but because the formula is shaped like a blast, I would never be able to get it to create an arrow. For an arrow I would need a formula shaped like an arrow."

Jace sitting there is running what he was listening to through his head. "What he is saying is that the formula is made for that specific effect and that effect only. That must be why he said you should know a little about your effect before choosing it. If I know nothing and create the wrong formula and image I would never be able to get the effect I want'.

The God of Abnormalities continued with his instructions "After you have thought of your effect and what your formula should look like comes the hardest part for everyone. You take your mana and start drawing your hex formula in front of you. As you are drawing you must stop and contain your mana from activating your hex before you have completed it completely. This containment gets harder the more of your formula you complete and the more complex your formula. Once you finish the completion of your hex formula comes a much easier step."

Jace sees that the projection cuts out and comes back again. "The third step is that you grab the hex formula and pull it into your brain. How you do this is you keep the mana on your finger and put it in the center of your hex formula. This should make the hex formula stick to your finger to which you pull it into your brain."

Jace sees the projection cut and reappears to which he thinks 'that third step seems incredibly easy'. The projection this time instead of being dark has a picture of the exploding hex's formula on it.

The God of Abnormalities continues "The last step takes place in a room like in disease control. What you will see is your hex formula and what you need to do is to put the exact desired effect you want in the hex. What I mean is with the exploding hex if I use the hex formula I will get an explosion but there would be no force. The mana would just shoot out like the hex tells it. How you achieve this is to put your mana into the hex while thinking of what you want the mana to have. With the exploding you would think that the mana has force which would create the explosion. After you complete putting the mana into the hex, it will activate by itself and you will be thrown out of the space back to reality. That is all for hex creation, I hope it helps you in your survival and growth."

Jace sees the screens pull up the instruction for rewatch which Jace uses. Jace after finishing rewatching the instructions a few times starts to think about what effect he wants to create with his hex. 'I think I got it, that would be perfect to use against the demon base'.

Meanwhile night had passed while Jace was in insight for hex creation and that morning at the demon base things were going very poorly. In the Leaders tent, the Leader is sitting at a desk thinking while looking at a message that has come in.

The first day of the tournament that had been proposed was scheduled to happen today. However that had been canceled, after even more demons had gotten infected which decreased morale even more. The message that the Leader was looking at was a message that stated that only when the home base saw better results would they receive more first aid.

This put the Leader in quite the pickle as he needed men to build to get first aid, but the men needed first aid to be able to build. The Leader then had an idea, what if he just forced the infected ones to work on the opposite side from the healthy ones.

This would allow them to receive medical attention from home base and prevent more men from getting infected. The Leader immediately called the aid into his office to begin preparations for his plan.
