Jace waking up to a new day sees smoke in the distance. Jace climbs out of the safe house and up the tree once again. When he gets up there he sees more smoke and sees what looks like campfires that the smoke is coming from.

'I know that demons have been in the area for the past few days. I wonder if that is a camp of some sorts. If so, I wonder if I can test out my new disease'. Jace climbing back down eats breakfast which is not beans this time and heads out with his weapons.

In the place Jace is heading to there are currently 2 demons talking. They look like every other demon there, however one demon has a second horn stub. The one horned demon starts to talk and report to the other demon.

"Leader, we have started on the perimeter walls as well as the barracks." The one the demon called Leader then speaks "Good, any messages from home base?" The one horned demon shakes his head "No Leader, no messages have been received."

The Leader demon turns to look at the campfires before him that have full cows over them. "What is the meat we are cooking for the troops?"

"I do not know Leader, we know however that the native population of this planet enjoyed their meat" the one horned demon responded.

"I see, I look forward to meal time then. Call me if you have any problems." the Leader said as he walked away. "Yes Leader!" the one horned demon shouted.

Jace arrives some time after this exchange of the two demons. As Jace arrives closer to the camp he decides that climbing a tree might be his best bet to stay hidden.

Jace then decides to climb a tree slightly taller than the rest. It had dense leaves that were hard for things looking in to see through.

As Jace arrives at the top of the tree he gets a perfect view of the camp. 'That is massive. Wait, are they cooking a cow hole? What is with that wall, it looks right out of history books'. Jace was seeing a rectangular base that was as big as an american football stadium with walls of wood 12 feet high and tents everywhere.

'I am glad I got here early. If not I don't think I would be able to see any of this'. Jace, continuing to marvel at something he had never seen before, sees all the workers stop working. Jace, wondering what was happening quickly puts it together as the demons head towards the camp fires.

Jace then witnesses all the demons sit around the different campfires and begin to eat. Jace watching this realizes he has some time before they come back to their work. 'I should test my new disease as well as halt some of their construction'.

Jace climbing down the tree sneaks over near their piles of wood. Jace then draws 2 hexes on it before leaving the scene and returning to his tree. Jace, still feeling the connection to the hexes, checks his mana. Seeing it sit at 90/180 prepares 2 throwing knives with Splitter V2 on them. Jace then sits in waiting while collecting mana.

As Jace sees the demons go back to work he starts his plan. Jace sees 2 demons coming near enough for him to hit them and be able to get away. Jace, seeing his chance, throws the knives while aiming for anywhere but their head.

'I don't know if they have other vitals but I don't care at the moment'.Jace seeing the blades connect starts to climb down and run away. While running away from the scene activates the 2 hexes. "Boom" Jace looks back to see splintering wood go flying and hears the sounds of the demons.

Jace this time on the way back home takes a detour towards a creek and goes through it. 'The demon yesterday somehow tracked me. It's better to be cautious than dead'.

Jace arrives back at his safe house a little after noon, changes and starts training. Before going to bed not knowing the chaos happening in the demon base.

As the hexes went off in the base the Leader stormed out of his tent. "What is going on here!" He yelled as everyone froze and looked at him. He pointed at a demon in the crowd and asked "What is going on here?"

The demon looked around nervously before saying "We heard an explosion and saw pieces of material go flying." "I see" the Leader said "Where is the damage?" The Leader follows the demon to the place of Jace's attack. The leader inspects the damage to their building materials, seeing they are completely destroyed.

"Everyone get ready for battle we may be under attack!" the Leader yells again. Before anyone can react another demon comes running in. "2 demons have been attacked by weapons!" It screams while running in circles. This sets off a chain reaction in the camp of panic and frenzy. Every demon is running to their tents for weapons while the Leader is trying to get more info.

After the frenzy calms down all the demons rush over to the site of Jace's other attack. As everyone is there the Leader pushes his way through to the front. When he gets there he is surprised by what he sees. He sees 2 demons with some foreign weapon looking object in them.

Just sitting there talking to the others. The Leader asked with anger in his voice "I thought there was an attack happening here?" The 2 demons responded "There was an attack. As we were walking over here these objects came soaring and hit us."

"I see, but I thought there was an ongoing attack" the Leader responds. "Oh, no, it appears that the enemy ran away after being unable to defeat us" the 2 demons responded. "I see" the Leader responds again before patting the 2 on the back.

"False alarm!" the Leader yells before telling the 2 "Go get your wounds fixed." "Yes, Leader" they respond in unison. Little did the demons know that they had been attacked. It just so happened to be by unconventional means.
