Upon hearing Edward's suggestion, Mengdie quickly waved her hands with a smile, "No, no, no, I am a guest and you are the host. How can it be that the guest sleeps on the bed while the host sleeps on the street? Let's ask Dubo if we can borrow another bedsheet."

Mengdie stepped out of the tent, and coincidentally, Dubo was organizing miscellaneous items in a nearby tent. After she explained the situation and requested another bedsheet, Dubo was initially surprised and reluctant. However, seeing Edward standing behind Mengdie with a look of anticipation mixed with difficulty, he thought for a moment and lent another set of bedding.

After walking around the two sets of beds, Mengdie was quite satisfied with the width of the beds. This communal sleeping arrangement reminded her of her time in the monastery, bringing a tinge of nostalgia. After pondering, she went over to where Edward's armor was placed, removed her hairpin, and set it beside the armor.

"Uh... what are you doing?" Edward asked.

"Getting ready to sleep. What else do you think I'm doing?"

Mengdie turned back, smiling slightly. She then gently pulled on the ribbon holding her hair, releasing her waist-length black hair, soft and lustrous, cascading over her shoulders.

Edward was stunned by the sight. Her hair was so soft, so shiny! The girl with her hair tied up exuded a vibrant energy, but with her hair down, she seemed even more lazily beautiful, as if ready for sleep. For a moment, Edward was spellbound...

After placing the hairpin and ribbon down, Mengdie started to undress again. This time she was quick, so quick that Edward barely reacted before all five buttons were undone. She held the edges of her dress, slowly parting them, revealing her fair skin and perfect figure, about to be exposed in front of Edward!

"Woah—!!!"

She was too perfect, so perfect that any additional glance seemed like desecration! Edward, as if fleeing, rushed out of the tent. Seeing Dubo outside with a puzzled expression, he shouted in extreme nervousness, "Don't go in! No one is allowed in!!!"

The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.

"Hey! Edward, what's the matter? Aren't you coming in to sleep?"

Edward gritted his teeth, the melodious voice coming from inside tormenting his sanity. And to make matters worse, the young girl inside seemed not to understand his good intentions. She approached the tent door, about to lift it.

"Don't lift it! Mengdie, just stay behind and talk!!!"

Mengdie paused, realizing that forcing Edward to open the door wasn't a good idea. If he didn't want to come out, so be it. She could still undress as planned.

"I'm asking you, do you see me as a woman?"

Not seeing you as a woman, but you are indeed a perfectly flawless girl! Edward didn't let Mengdie come out, indeed with good intentions. There were many men walking around in the camp! If she came out like that, wouldn't all her reputation be ruined? However, Edward still overlooked something. Under the tent light, Mengdie's exquisite figure was fully outlined on the tent fabric. Although just a silhouette, this simple shadow was enough to stir any man's imagination! Especially from the shadow's current movement... she seemed to be taking off her pants... Did this mean she was completely naked now?

The thought of a stark-naked, stunningly beautiful girl in his tent calling him to come inside nearly shattered Edward's sanity...

"Quick, get the clothes I prepared for the victory celebration. The ones I haven't worn yet. ...Right, and underwear, also the ones I haven't worn yet!"

Regaining his composure, Edward instructed Dubo, who cast an admiring glance at his young master and went to prepare.

During the wait for the clothes, Edward stole a glance at the delicate figure reflected by the lamp light and coughed awkwardly.

"Uh... Mengdie, there's something I want to ask you..."

"What is it?" Mengdie inside the tent was troubled by her excessively long hair. After having it tied up for so long, she struggled to manage it properly. Who would want to accidentally pull out a few strands while sleeping?

Gazing at the silhouette of her combing her hair, Edward was mesmerized. After a long stare, he took a deep breath, turned his gaze towards the three moons in the sky, and stuttered, "Mengdie... have you... often slept with... strange men before?"

Perhaps feeling uneasy, Edward added the word "strange" before "men."

Mengdie inside the tent had finally managed her tangled hair, tossing it with a flourish, and laughed, "Of course. I often used to..."

Suddenly, her voice stopped.

"Mengdie? What were you saying? What happened next? You didn't get into trouble, did you?"

Mengdie was far from being in trouble; she just realized that she was supposed to be an amnesiac! How could she speak of her past as an amnesiac?

Edward outside kept urging her, and Mengdie thought for a moment, snapping her fingers.

"Ah... that's right! I lost my memory, you know? Two months ago, I woke up in the Silver Moon Kingdom. I want to know what happened before, more than anyone else. However, some childhood memories have started to return in these two months. I think my parents treated me like a boy when I was little, so I ate and slept with boys my age. But in these memories, I'm only about six or seven years old, and I can't remember anything after that. Based on these memories, I always feel that if I could eat and sleep with men like when I was a child, I might remember something..."

Edward outside fell silent, seemingly relieved by Mengdie's lie. He didn't seem worried about what would happen if the lie was exposed. However, with battle approaching, unnecessary suspicions were better reduced.

After a long while, a relieved voice came from outside. Edward sounded happier.
