"Princess, forgive the intrusion."

Suddenly, in the silent garden, a sweet girl's voice rings out! Sasha is startled and looks towards the source of the sound, only to see two maids standing among the flowers. One of them, wearing a short skirt, strikingly resembles the girl she once fought fiercely against!

Mengdie understands Sasha's expression. After all, she once tried to kidnap her. She coughs and steps out of the garden, apologizing with a smile as she approaches the pavilion, "I'm sorry, Princess, I didn't mean to scare you. And I assure you, my intentions today are not malicious…"

"How dare you hide here!"

Before Mengdie can finish, a sharp-eyed maid with short blue hair suddenly confronts her. She reaches into her waist and pulls out a long sword, already in hand! Without a word, she thrusts the sword towards Mengdie!

Mengdie is slightly surprised, both at the girl being a bodyguard and at her quick initiation of an attack.

"You're impressive."

Mengdie sincerely compliments, effortlessly stepping back and avoiding the maid's sword.

The maid is shocked that her attack was so easily dodged. She lunges at Mengdie again with her sword raised, but Mengdie easily sidesteps once more.

"Lena! Don't hurt her!"

Sasha, in the pavilion, recognizes the girl in the maid's outfit but is unsure due to her tail and ears, so she cautions Lena to be gentle.

Lena casually responds, her eyes shining with determination. She raises her knight's sword and charges at Mengdie again, thrusting the sword rapidly towards Mengdie's shoulder!

However, Mengdie is quicker, dodging the attack with a sweet smile, "Sorry, young lady. I'm not here to assassinate anyone. I just want to talk to the Princess, okay?"

Mengdie's smile is genuine, but Lena, seeing such a natural expression, feels indignation. Without another word, she swings her sword even faster, transitioning from restraint to full force. Each strike aims at Mengdie's head, neck, chest, abdomen - vital points!

Mengdie shakes her head, moving easily among Lena's sword strikes. Aware that her past actions warrant suspicion, she decides to wait until Lena tires of fighting. But Mengdie wonders why Sasha's guard seems so weak. Is she holding back?

In reality, Lena is far from weak. As the captain of the female knight's squad, she's a top fighter chosen from elite soldiers, especially skilled in protecting royal women. But compared to the terrifying sword skills of Rand she experienced before, Lena's attacks seem slow to Mengdie.

Mengdie frowns, effortlessly moving through Lena's swordplay with her hands behind her back. Her relaxed ears and tail sway, shocking Lena with her strength.

After a round of attacks, Lena steps back, panting. Just as Mengdie thinks she's tired and begins to speak, Lena shouts, "Coco! Come and help!!!"

At her call, another short-haired maid with coffee-colored hair, looking scared and clutching a magic book, hesitates, "Sis... Sister? Do I... do I have to join in?"

"Yes! It's only you and me to protect the Princess now! Trap her!"

As Lena watches Mengdie closely, Coco hurriedly flips through her magic book, nervously reciting a spell.

Mengdie, surprised by Lena's renewed attack, keeps retreating and dodging. But unexpectedly, cylindrical steel rods shoot up from the marble floor, trapping her!

"Assassin, let's see where you can run now!"

Lena tightens her grip on the sword and thrusts it towards Mengdie's left shoulder with all her strength, confident that no mortal can dodge it.

To her astonishment, the trapped girl suddenly extends her hands, catching the sword between them! Lena's sword seems to be solidly cast between those delicate hands, unable to move forward or back.
