Xiu stood beside Mengdie, his gaze calm as he watched the girl. He admired her serious eyes and the pink lips that sipped the drink. What was this magic apprentice thinking in his mind at this moment? Probably, only he himself knew…
After a thorough observation, Mengdie had a clear understanding of the defenses around the General's Mansion. Patrol soldiers passed by every thirty seconds, and a high wall topped with barbed wire surrounded the premises. The only entrance was the front gate of the mansion, guarded by just two soldiers, making it the weakest point.
Drinking up her beverage, Mengdie put down the cup, thanked Xiu with a gesture, and pulled him aside to discuss her strategy. The plan was simple: create a diversion at the front of the mansion to sneak in, find the girl named Emily, and escape.
Mengdie crouched on the ground, drawing a map of the General's Mansion in the dust, detailing every aspect of her plan. Xiu listened quietly, occasionally nodding in agreement.
“Basically, that's my plan. Xiu, do you have any questions about it?”
After finishing her explanation, Mengdie held a twig, looking expectantly at Xiu.
“Hahaha, I have no questions. Your plan is perfect, Mengdie. It's hard to imagine such a meticulous plan coming from a girl your age. But... I think you've overlooked something.”

Confused, Mengdie looked behind her, finding nothing amiss. She turned back to Xiu, her beautiful face showing a desire for clarification.
“Mengdie, it's you. Hahaha, I'm surprised, why didn't you include yourself in the plan? Knowing the General's fondness for beauty, why did you go through such an elaborate plan?
