Sensing the wind pressure from the swinging blade, the giant wolf lightly leaped, and the sword narrowly missed its fur, striking the muddy ground. But this brief pause was all Mengdie needed to arrive, her fist raised with boundless strength, slamming into the dark figure!

The giant wolf whimpered, obviously unable to dodge Mengdie's punch. Suddenly, as if she had a second thought, the strength in her fist weakened. The giant wolf, hit by the weakened punch, was thrown far away, spinning two or three times in the air. However, upon landing, it only stumbled slightly, seemingly unharmed.
"Awooo——!!!"
The figure, now on the ground, raised its head, revealing blood-red pupils. It howled in anger, and the surrounding wolves, hearing their leader's call, ceased their predatory actions and pounced towards Mengdie! Just then, a flash of lightning streaked across the sky. Mengdie charged in front of the blue wolf, raising her fist. The blue wolf, fearless, roared and lunged at her!
Just like before, Mengdie's fist weakened just before hitting the blue wolf, as she didn't want to harm this creature. But just as she was about to lessen the force, something she never expected happened!
The blue wolf, perhaps having learned from Mengdie's earlier punch, suddenly slowed down just as they were about to collide! With a push of its limbs, the wolf moved sideways around Mengdie, quickly reaching the optimal position to attack, its jaws snapping towards Mengdie's waist!
But Mengdie was not so easily defeated. Without turning around, she swiftly raised her right leg, her knee hitting the blue wolf's jaw and forcefully shutting its massive mouth. The wolf, in pain, didn't wait for Mengdie's knee to fully land and abruptly raised its head, lessening the impact of her strongest attack. The wolf, using the momentum from Mengdie's hit, flipped backward twice and landed safely.
Mengdie was deeply impressed by the blue wolf's combat ability. With such tactical intelligence and leadership skills, it was no wonder that the soldiers sent to exterminate them were annihilated!
Heh... such a formidable creature. Well then, come on!
Mengdie suddenly ran towards the forest, with the blue wolf and the gray wolves in hot pursuit! However, it seemed that Mengdie wasn't truly trying to escape. After leaving the village surrounded by fire and blood, she stopped in the open field, silently watching the wolves encircling her...
