Returning to the present from her thoughts, Mengdie clenched the magic stone imbued with the "Sky Burn" spell in her palm. She had already given the "Water Mirror Wall" magic stone to Aya and Nia, so she wasn't worried about the soldiers’ spears hurting them during the fight. But now...
"What can I achieve after regaining some strength?"
Mengdie raised her hand holding the magic stone, her sharp gaze fixed on the spears thrusting towards her.
"Only one way to find out..."
With a snap, the magic stone shattered...
A burst of dark red light momentarily enveloped Mengdie's entire body and then disappeared. Just then, two or three spears approached her; Mengdie swiftly grabbed one and rushed towards the soldiers, elbowing the chest armor of the leading soldier...
"Bang—!!!!!!"
A thunderous sound erupted from the soldier's chest! The steel armor, previously impervious to Mengdie’s best efforts and physical training, was now dented under her strike!
"Ouch—!"
The soldier screamed, flying off the platform with his armor, crashing into the hastily cleared space in the crowd. Successful with one strike, Mengdie’s initially worried heart was instantly filled with confidence! She quickly glanced at the time shown on the clock tower, then without a second thought, grabbed another soldier's spear and spun, swiftly delivering a chop like a whirlwind to the back of his neck, knocking another soldier unconscious!
The time was 12:30 PM. She had only ten minutes until 12:40 PM!
A fierce battle unfolded on the platform, with the petite Mengdie fluttering like a butterfly through the web of spears formed by the soldiers. Her movements were agile, her slender waist remarkably flexible. Her white-ribboned hair danced with the wind, her delicate hands accurately sending one soldier after another into "slumber." The intersecting spears almost grazed her skin, their cold blades maintaining a brilliant shine. To the audience below, it was not a fight they were witnessing, but a splendid dance performed by a girl on a dangerous spider web!

"Down!"
Mengdie performed a backflip, avoiding a spear thrust from behind while accurately kicking the attacker in the head. The helmet protecting his head caved in, and he collapsed to the ground. With his fall, nearly a dozen soldiers lay scattered across the platform, and countless more below, all in just five minutes!
Damn, only five minutes left!
Mengdie, not daring to be careless, clenched her fists and stood in the center of the platform, surveying her surroundings. How many soldiers were deployed around the platform, hundreds, thousands? If they swarmed her in a rotating battle, she would eventually be defeated when the time was up!
"Next... who is it!"
Mengdie's fists collided, her eyes emitting a chilling gleam. The soldiers, seeing their fallen comrades, halted, their eyes filled with fear.
Edward, by the throne, was overjoyed at the sight. He gripped his sword tightly, grateful that his beloved was not in danger yet. Unfortunately, his relief lasted less than a second; his father once again waved his hand, loudly commanding, "Royal Knight Kaid! Kill that viper!"
At these words, Edward was shocked! Before he could object, one of the 30 soldiers, a man of medium build with extremely thick arms and wielding a huge axe, leaped onto the platform! The axe raised high seemed to split the entire platform, thundering down like lightning!
Mengdie, standing in front of a fallen soldier, felt the ferocity of the strike, immediately kicked the soldier away, and leaped to the side. A loud boom followed as the spot where she and the soldier had just been was cleaved open by the giant axe!
"Such incredible power!"
Mengdie was inwardly alarmed, quickly getting into a combat stance to face the enemy. Despite his short stature, the man's arms were covered in muscles. By her estimation, the giant axe in his hand weighed at least 150 pounds. To wield it so effortlessly, he was certainly not an easy opponent!
"The king's... enemy... kill!"
The middle-aged man seemed to have unclear speech, his words disjointed and lacking coherence. He seemed even less articulate than Mengdie. But as soon as he uttered "kill," the veins in his arm holding the axe bulged, lifting the axe embedded in the ground with one hand, and charged at Mengdie with a shout!
Five minutes... no, four minutes and thirty seconds to end this battle!
The floor tore like tofu under the axe! The middle-aged man, dragging the terrifying weapon, charged at Mengdie like a rampaging beast. Stones splintered from the ground like bullets, flying towards Mengdie. As they neared her, he roared, swinging the axe up! The multitude of stones, carrying immense destructive force, furiously flew towards Mengdie!
Strength, slightly restored by "Sky Burn." However, her dynamic vision was far from as good as before! Mengdie spread her arms, relying solely on the physical skills she had acquired in the past three months, furiously striking the flying stones with fists, palms, and feet! The sounds of collisions filled the air, the shattered stones turning into powder, enveloping Mengdie in a dense mist!
Repelling the prelude meant the next attack was coming! Sure enough, the dense mist suddenly parted, and a huge axe descended overhead! Mengdie gritted her teeth, not dodging but instead charging into the middle-aged man's embrace, causing his axe to miss entirely! Gathering all her strength into one punch, she struck the man's elbow holding the axe at the moment the axe hit the ground behind her!
"Bang!!!"
The released power instantly dispersed the mist, the man's arm swelling red.
