Throughout the entire lunch, Mengdie was there for Nia, cutting her meat and bringing it to her mouth, comforting and encouraging her in a gentle voice. But she never once suggested that the girl stop practicing. On the contrary, the hints to continue were quite clear.

The afternoon, post-lunch, was probably nothing but boredom and torment for Nia. She, Mengdie, and Edward spent the entire afternoon in the backyard of the mansion, engaged in monotonous and repetitive practice. However, what's tedious for some may not be for others; Mengdie, also training in the backyard, seemed anything but bored.

Her silk headband was tightly tied at the end of her long hair. In the dense fog, Mengdie stood in the middle of the garden with her eyes closed, breathing deeply. Small sandbags could be seen on her hands, feet, and waist, which she had made after lunch.

“Hoo…”

With a long exhale, Mengdie suddenly opened her eyes! Her figure twirled in the fog, her waist twisting, slender and flexible. The heavy sandbags forced her to throw more stable punches, and the weight that made it nearly impossible to move easily spurred her to persist! The lack of physical strength in her body was so severe that Mengdie dared not relax even a bit. Even after a fierce battle that morning, she couldn't afford to be careless, exerting her full strength with every punch she could muster!

Hours of weight training replaced Mengdie's fatigue and soreness. Her sweat evaporated slowly, merging into the mist. Beads of sweat adorned her flushed face, and her coat removed, revealing a sweat-soaked, translucent shirt that outlined her delicate curves, faintly visible in the dense fog.

Leaping high off a faux-rockery, Mengdie executed a final backflip in mid-air. Spinning, she aimed for a fake stone on the ground, stretching her leg and smashing it down with her heel using centrifugal force! A loud “thud” followed, but what came was the painful sensation in Mengdie's heel.

“Plop.”

Mengdie, having lost her support, fell onto the grass below the fake stone. She moaned, clutching her heel, biting her teeth, enduring the pain. It took her a while to stagger to her feet and walk out of the grass onto the garden path.

Checking her pocket watch, it was nearly dinner time. Mengdie frowned, massaging her sore heel. Looking down at her chest, she noticed her drenched shirt, revealing the outline of her body underneath. Shaking her head and grunting in annoyance, she stood up, picked up her coat, and staggered towards her room.

“Hmm? Edward, you finished training too?”

At the entrance, she saw Edward in his light armor, gripping his giant sword, and drenched in sweat. She immediately smiled in greeting.

Compared to Mengdie, Edward looked troubled. But as he turned and saw Mengdie in her current state, he blushed and turned his head away, silent.

Mengdie shrugged, not minding much. Still, she quickly caught up to him and patted his shoulder.

“Edward, I want to ask you something.”

“Wha... what is it?” Edward didn't turn around, seeming very shy.

Mengdie, running her fingers through her slightly sticky hair from the sweat, asked with a smile, “I want to know, what do the words ‘Mohala’, ‘Kona’, and ‘Shupetera’ mean?”

Edward's already embarrassed expression turned extremely tense upon hearing those words. He quickly turned around, his face full of worry, then looked at Mengdie, who seemed indifferent about her revealing, wet shirt... After three seconds, he still couldn't hold back, turned his head away, and stopped looking at Mengdie.

“Those... those words... where did you hear them?”

“Just this morning in the weapon store,” Mengdie replied nonchalantly as she combed her hair, “The female shop owner called me ‘Mohala’. I didn't understand, and I guess I said something wrong, making a mess of her shop. I feel quite bad about it. Tell me, what do those words mean? I asked Nia, but she wouldn't say.”

Edward, blushing intensely, seemed even more tense amid the thick fog, his forehead glistening with sweat. After pondering for a few minutes, he suddenly rushed towards his room and slammed the door shut...

Geez, what’s with him? Why so stingy all of a sudden? Would teaching me three words kill him?

Exhausted, Mengdie had no interest in bothering with Edward. She returned to her room, threw the sandbags aside, and began to undress for a bath. Just then, the door swung open, and Nia stumbled into the room, crawling onto her bed, seemingly ready to sleep in her clothes.

Mengdie wouldn't allow Nia to sleep like that, all sweaty and dirty. She walked over to the bed, grabbed Nia's hand, and said with a smile, “Come on, get up. Go take a bath and change your clothes. It's uncomfortable to sleep all sweaty, right?”

"But Niya, with her limp arms, seemed as if she was clinging to the bed, refusing to get up no matter how Mengdie dragged her. Even when Mengdie pulled her off the bed, she still lay on the floor, unwilling to get up. Her orange-red hair was drenched in sweat, making it look messy and unkempt. If Aiya saw her sister like this now, she would probably be furious to death.

'I don't want to wash... How about this, Sister Mengdie, can you help me bathe? My whole body feels weak, and I can't even move a single finger...'

Lying on the ground, Niya's expression was languid, her eyes closed, appearing very confused."
