"Are we ready to hunt now?" Matthew asked Shadow.

"What? Hunt HERE?" Shadow teased.

"Wait..." Matthew held a finger up. "So, we came out here........for nothing?"

"Yep." Shadow said simply.

Matthew shrugged. He then remembered the stone that was in his pocket, he pulled it out and showed it to his friends. "Does anybody know what this is?"

The other boys looked closely at it. Shadow held out his hand. "May I?" Matthew nodded and gave it to him.

Shadow examined the rock, he then looked at Matthew. "Where did you find this?"

"Uh, just in some hole in the ground...on the....east side of the Valley." Matthew answered.

"Do you know what it is?" Zack asked Shadow.

"It belongs to a witch." Shadow answered. "Well, all witches have access to crystals. Um, I don't know who exactly it belongs to or what type it is. Matthew, do you know what energy came out when you found it?"

"Uh, it was a purple light?"

Shadow looked down at the crystal again. "Hm, let's bring it to the girls, they know a lot more than I do!"
