Azazel laughed again. "I just can't wait to start the game!" He twitched excitedly. "Ready? Fight!" Before Scratch can think, Azazel lunged.

When Azazel landed on him, Scratch bucked him off. He bit hard into the infected wolf's neck. Azazel cried in pain as he laughed.

"Oh, it feels good to be alive........you won't be though, Max!" He lunged again, this time, Scratch couldn't move fast enough. Azazel's claws stretched out before landing on Scratch's eye. Azazel scratched him, not only permanently scarring his eye for life, but also blinding him.

Scratch screamed over the pain. Azazel laughed once again. "It feels good, doesn't it?"

Before Azazel can lunge at him again, Shadow jumps in, attempting to bite into the infected wolf's throat, but he didn't succeed. The black wolf then got distracted by Scratch's cries. He turned over his shoulder. Azazel then changed and gripped hard on Shadow's scruff. He threw him against a tall tree, where the black wolf then changed as his body slammed into the tree and fell directly on his back, knocking the wind out of him. Shadow gasped, doing his best to breathe.
