She and Howl were transported to a different part of the castle...they found themselves in a chamber that was locked in the outside. Ugh, seriously?
She banged hard on the door, but a gentle hand stopped her from doing it again. She sighs.
"If he's separated us, he's probably looking for us right now....just think...this is a game to him. We cant be spotted by him." Zack said.
Suddenly, a loud booming voice filled the halls. "Come out, come out wherever you are!" Azazel laughed. They could hear the sound of his footsteps two doors down. They could also hear the sound of jingling keys and a lock clicking.
Shit!
Thankfully, she knew what to do. "On my signal, you stand very close to me." Rose whispered. Zack, who was now Howl, didn't argue.
When Azazel was on the other side of their hiding place, they could hear the jingling of keys and the lock clicking. Rose eyes Howl, and the wolf obeys. He stands in her circle and quietly, she held her palm facing up, right above them, and with that power, they turned invisible.
Azazel looked around, Rose held her breath as he scanned the room, when he got closer to her, she steadied her breath as her heart pounded in her chest, she prayed in her mind that he's not hearing her thudding heart. He turned around and walked out of the room, he then calls out. "Come on, don't be shy.....I'm not your typical psychopath!"
When they could hear Azazel's voice become more distant, they looked out the door that was now open....Rose swiftly rushes to the door to shut it, but Howl stopped her once again and says, "He may come back here and notice this is different now. We need to leave it open and find a better hiding place. I don't even know if coming here was a good idea, we need to get out of this place. It's not safe."

Rose sighs and looks down at him. "But he's one versus the five of us, we can handle him."
"He's not normal, who knows what he can do that we don't know of yet." He persuaded.
Rose nodded. "You're right."
"Come on, let's see where we can go that's safer."
"Howl?" Rose began. The blond wolf tilts his head at her. She then said. "What's wrong with my brother......why's he being like that with you guys?"
Howl lowers her head. "I don't know.....he was like this when we first met him. I thought he's been getting better over the months....but.....I honestly don't know what's changed. He's gone back to the same being he was in the beginning."
"Howl, he was never one to be aggressive.." Rose complained.
Howl nodded. "I know....but you got to remember, he's been with.....HER for a few years. Who knows, maybe SHE taught him to behave like that."
Rose's stomach flared up with anger. She HATED what that bitch had done to her brother. "It's not just her that taught him negativity like that...."
Howl looked at her again.
She continued. "It was also my parents....he and I have been taught about many things that were considered bad and evil.....I never gave in, but.......he sure did. Necromancy's bad....black wolves are bad...." She laughs to herself, then silences herself at the new thought given to her. "Do you think that's why he treats you badly? Because he sees that he has the very things that our parents assumed were bad?"
Howl shrugs. "I don't know....it could be a possibility. But it seems like from what he told us, he acts like he'd rather be this.....being than.......Gabriel...you know?"
Rose shook her head, her face flushed red from anger. "I hate her for what she did to him." She pounded her fist on the wall. "He's not the same...."
"Hey..." Howl reassured her. "He's always going to be your brother no matter what. Out of the rest of the pack, he respects you. He....looks up to you."
Rose nodded again. "That's because I had to take care of him after my parents died." She then looks at him. "Do you think, if I talked to him about whatever's going on with him, he'll be open to?"
Howl sighs with uncertainty. "I don't know for sure, but....right now, let's work on getting out."
Rose smiled. "Agreed."
