Matthew was then walking back towards them, Zack could see a glimpse from his friend saying, "it didn't go very well."
Zack folded his arms. "I told you not to talk to him."
Matthew glared at him and sat down.
Zack turns to Shadow. The other blond only shrugged.
"I'm going to plan tonight's hunt..." Shadow said awkwardly, he then walked away.
Zack looks down at Matthew. "Feel better now?"

Matthew stared in the distance. "Why can't he just be NORMAL?" Zack patted him on the shoulder before trailing off himself.
Nobody's been normal ever since the Village incident. Not even Zack.
All the feelings of betrayal, that hurt, that anger he had for his father....his own FATHER aiming his godforsaken spear at him. He was going to kill him, yeah, he wasn't feeling normal either.
He had to force his own feelings down, and it hurt, but Matthew's right about one thing......
Max may be going through a lot, and it may take time to heal, but he can't just leave his friends out of the picture, a good support group he has, he shouldn't push them away.
How will he bring this up to Max? Hopefully, this own pain of Max's won't be destructive to him or anyone around.
Will he get a wake up call before that happens?
Hopefully, he'll actually come around.
In the meantime, Zack Shadow and Matthew need to back away, and give him his space.
