Chapter 30: Bitch Didn't Disarm Me!
(*Streya’s POV.*)
I woke up to a dark cellar. Looking around, this place didn't seem like one that was recently built. In fact, it looked to be built sometime around 2000 to 2010. Yes, I learned about architecture, what of it? Now then, why the fuck am I here? Ah, right... I was kidnapped...
Woman: “Are you awake, my dear?” She asked.
Streya: “Who even are you?... No, wait... I know you.” I say with a shocked tone.
The woman before me was someone that I knew. No, I wasn't betrayed by any of my friends. This woman was the feral vampire that once tried to kill me. Why the hell did they even let her go? Clearly, the first thing that she started doing, was to kill a bunch of people...
Woman: “I am glad that you remember me, Streya.” She said with a smile.
Streya: “Why have you taken me, and why have you killed so many people?” I ask with a nervous tone.
Woman: “They tried to save me, they really did. The government even gave me more Credits than I could ever spend. I tried to stop, but I just couldn't get the smell of your blood out of my mind.” She replied before licking her lips.
I slowly got up from the ground, and took out my handgun. Oddly, this women completely forgot to disarm me. I still had my handgun, and my knife. Did she forget what happened last time? Her confident gaze says that she didn't... She didn't even looked scared when I pointed my handgun at her... Why?
Streya: “You forgot to take away my handgun.” I say with a confused tone.
Woman: “It won't help you out here, anyway. Why would I bother to take it from you?” She replied.
Streya: “Are you sure about that? It worked well last time.” I reply with a confident tone.
Woman: “Yes, my knees still hurt to this very day... But that only worked because I wasn't in my right mind. If you shoot me now, I will just dodge it easily. Come on, I dare you to try.” She answered with a smug tone.
I couldn't tell if she was bluffing me, so I aimed at her chest. Right before I pulled the trigger, I notice that she was standing in front of a curtain. The curtain was a modern one from this era, so she clearly put it up herself. Is she hiding something?...
Unauthorized reproduction: this story has been taken without approval. Report sightings.
Streya: “What is behind the curtain?” I ask with a curious tone.
Once I asked that question, she let out a defeated laugh. Before explaining herself, she went over to the curtain, and pulled it back so that I could see. Behind the curtain, were five women. Each were chained up and stripped naked, and were wearing cloth that blocked their vision. They seemed to have earplugs in as well. Who are these women?...
Woman: “You see, I was going to stand in front of each of these women while you shot at me. Which would end with you being the one that killed them.” She explained.
Streya: “That would be a good threat, if I didn't know that they were immortal. All of them looked to be adults, so their wives probably made them immortal already.” I reply.
Woman: “Yes, they're immortal, but do you know? Silver will negate their immortality, just the same as it is a major weakness to us vampires.” She replied.
The fuck? Really? No wonder they want to keep all of that knowledge a secret... I wasn't aware that humans will end up with the same weaknesses as vampires, once they make them immortal... But what is this woman's goal? Doesn't she want my blood?...
Streya: “Why?... If you want my blood, then shouldn't you want me to be happy?” I ask with an unsure tone.
Woman: “I am a gourmand, you see.” She replied.
Streya: “What do you mean?” I ask with a serious tone.
Woman: “To most vampires, blood only tastes good when their girls are happy. But to me, blood taste the best when a girl is beyond broken. Truly, the best blood I've tasted was from a girl who was suicidal. Of course, she was like that due to my actions.” She explained.
Streya: “You… I would even call you a person. You’re nothing more than an uncaring monster!” I exclaim.
Woman: “Yes, I am definitely am! Do you know? I was once called Angelina the Butcher. I even gave them my real name, but they didn't realize who I was. To them, I was just some crazy vampire that long since went missing, after she was chased around the entire world.” She replied with a laugh.
Streya: “You won't get away with this, mark my words!” I say with a serious tone.
Angelina: “Get away with it? Oh, I most certainly will not get away with it. This era is just far too advanced to get away with murder.” She said with a shrug.
Streya: “Then, why don't you just give yourself up?” I ask.
Angelina: “I do not care if I get caught and executed. I just want to taste your blood before then. I wanted you to be in despair, but I will settle for just tasting your blood right now.” She replied.
Streya: “Why would I let you drink my blood? I'd rather kill myself than let that happen!” I reply with an angry tone.
Angelina: “I can move faster than you can perceive, little Streya. Before you even have a chance to attack me, I can kill these women and suck your blood.” She gloated.
Fuck... Angelina really has me in a bind... I don't want to be a useless heroine, but it would be great if Reina could show up right about now... But I wasn't that lucky, since that didn't seem to happen, as the crazed vampire slowly made her way toward me.
Angelina: “Stay still, and I will make sure that it doesn't hurt. Once I have my fill of your blood, I will painlessly kill you and these women. Then I will willingly let myself be taken in for execution.” She said with a sultry tone after she took my handgun away.
At that point, there wasn't anything that I could do to stop the woman from drinking my blood. As she thoroughly licked my neck, I waited in fear for when she will sink her fangs into me. I wish that Reina could have been the one to save me...
