Chapter 21: Vampire Date.

(*Streya’s POV.*)

Going out on a limb, even though Reina didn’t mention that this was a date, I put on some really cute clothes. No, really. I bought them the day she informed me of this date.

All in all, I was now wearing a beautiful outfit, that totally didn’t cost me 50,000 Credits to buy. Hey, I look cute as fuck, so I do not care about spending this much. Besides, I have so many Credits now; I doubt that I will run out of them anytime soon.

My blond hair and cute purple eyes that I forgot to mention, really work well with this pure white dress and outfit. Of course, I totally cheated, and Sin helped me pick out a good outfit. I didn’t even dress up this well for when I went to the spa with Ciri.

I didn’t go overboard, right?… I shouldn’t have, I think? I didn’t doll myself up that much for Reina. I just went with something that would suit me the best. If I was trying to appeal to what she wants, I would have just asked Sin to get me an outfit that would easily woo the vampire.

While waiting in the living room with Sin, I heard a ring. Reina was hovering above my house, and she needed permission to land her shuttle. Which I quickly gave her.

Rather than wait in the shuttle for me, Reina came to the door to get me. Yeah, that is something that you would do for someone that you’re romantically interested in, and not for a friend…

Reina: “Hello, Streya. Are you ready to go?…” She said before her mouth was left open.

Oh, shit… Did I accidentally appear to her? Reina was checking me out like it was her job… Okay, come on now… You have been eying me up for like, five minutes now, Reina…

Streya: “Reina, this is my mother, Sin.” I say to snap her out of her trance.

Reina: “Mother? Ah, it is nice to meet you. Streya, I wasn’t aware that you had a mother?” She said with a confused tone.

Sin: “I used to be her PC AI, but since we got together so well, I ended up seeing her as my daughter. Thankfully, Streya agreed with me being her mother.” She said with a happy smile.

Reina: “I see… Now then, shall we head out, Streya?” She suggested.

I gave Sin a hug and a kiss on her cheek and then left with Reina. Reina carefully helped me up onto the shuttle, as it floated just a little bit above the ground. And then she got into the shuttle as well.

Streya: “Um… Reina? Why is the inside of your shuttle bigger than the outside?” I ask with a curious expression.

My question was absolutely justified! The inside was as long as a limo, and as wide as a semi truck… From the outside, sure, the outside of the shuttle was very expensive looking, but it was the standard size…

Reina: “Hm? Ah, this shuttle uses the same technology as the shipping drones use. You know, how the items you buy show up in a tiny cube, and then you can just push a button to get your times?” She answered.

Streya: “Is that dangerous?” I ask with a nervous tone.

Reina: “It isn’t dangerous at all. This tech is very mature. Please rest assured.” She said with a reassuring tone.

Despite her words, I still decided to look up this tech online. Surprisingly, there have never been any accidents or deaths caused by this tech. Damn… Crazy sci-fi dimension…

Streya: “Um… Reina? Could you please take your hand off of my thigh?” I ask with a slightly annoyed tone.

Reina: “Ah! I’m so sorry! I did that without realizing it…” She said with a super embarrassed tone and expression.

Despite her maturity, she still had a very blushed face. Holy shit… She really did do it on accident… Does she really want me THAT much!? My blood might be more alluring than I originally thought that it was…

Streya: “It’s okay, I can tell that you aren’t lying.” I reply with a smile.

Reina: “Either way, it was wrong of me to do so. Both morally and legally, as you’re still underage.” She said with a remorseful tone.

Streya: “I will be a full adult in a few months, Reina.” I say with a giggle.

Reina: “That is true…” She replied with a sigh.

Streya: “Why the sigh? I thought that you wanted to go have fun with me?” I ask with an innocent tone.

Reina: “I do! I am sorry for being a downer.” She said with an awkward laugh.

You know… We have been flying for an hour now. Is this amusement park far away, or something? Maybe I should ask… Somehow, it seemed that Reina was able to guess what I was thinking.

Reina: “Stupid me… I didn’t inform you of the name of the amusement park, right?” She asked.

Streya: “Nope, you didn’t. Is it far away?” I ask with a curious tone.

Reina: “It is in country J, so our flight will take a few more hours. Until then, why don’t we watch a movie?” She suggested.

Ah, so it will be in Japan. How fun. Wait… did she just suggest a movie? It was a major struggle to find a single movie that didn’t have sex in it when I first tried…

Streya: “Are you trying to get me in the mood? Most movies have pretty long sex scenes in them.” I say with a raised eyebrow.

Reina: “Ah… that is true. How about a game, then?” She suggested once more.

Streya: “What kind?” I ask with a head tilt.

Reina: “An ancient game! It’s called chess! Oddly, the game was lost to time until a year ago. It has become very popular lately.” She gushed.

Chess? Popular? Those two words don’t usually go together… I agreed with her suggestion, and then a holographic chess board showed up in between us. It was pretty cool! No, it wasn’t transparent, and it looked like an actual real wood chess board.

Clearly, Reina wanted to impress me with her chess skills. But that won’t be happening! Too bad, Reina! But I was an online chess champion back in my old life! This cute vampire is about to be schooled by me! The teasing shall now commence!
