"Let's start the training, shall we, my student!" Meu declared.
"Yeah!" Amber agreed with excitement.
"Come at me however you wish," Meu stated. "I'll use this to see how strong you are currently. You don't have to worry about hurting me."
"Alright!" Amber responded by immediately charging at Meu. I want to see how far I've gotten, too.
Meu stood still as Amber approached her, and when she got close, Amber quickly launched a flurry of jabs. None of these blows found their target as Meu weaved them. Amber wasn't the least bit surprised at this. After all, what master recommended by Ryzen would get battered that easily?
"Not bad, you're not a bad fighter at all!" Meu commended as she avoided her strikes. "I can tell you've taken your military occupation seriously!"
Amber smiled at this compliment. She had expected Meu to continue avoiding her attacks, but what she didn't expect was being countered faster than she could react to.
Meu immediately grabbed Amber's arm after she missed her punch and twisted it behind her back.
"Guh! What!?" Amber stated as she was visibly shocked by how quickly Meu restrained her. Meu used her right arm and bent Amber's hand backward so her fingers and knuckles were moving back towards her forearm while using her left arm to apply pressure to the back of Amber's upper arm.
"OWWW!!!" Amber screamed as her joints were stressed from the wrist and armlock. Relieving her of the pain, Meu immediately tossed Amber across the dojo.
After stopping herself, Amber immediately rubbed her affected arm.
I-It's not broken? Amber thought. That was so painful!
"C'mon, Amber. Keep trying," Meu stated. "You can use your blessing, you know."
In response, Amber enshrouded herself with her yellow radiance, reinforcing her body with her justice blessing.
Ooh! What a bright shine! Meu thought as she witnessed Amber activating her blessing.
Amber rushed Meu to resume combat. She unleashed a flurry of blows stronger and faster than her previous assault. However, Meu was still able to avoid them.
Although Amber still failed to land any hits, Amber did better as Meu parried the blows with open palms instead of dodging them. Meu easily defended against Amber's hooks, jabs, and kicks.
"You're able to perform various skillful attacks, but you have a lot of wasted movements," Meu lectured amid the spar. "You take a bit of time winding up your attacks. It makes it super easy for me to read you."
Attempting to amend this, Amber performed a high kick at her head but only proved Meu's point when she easily parried it with her palm. Meu not only blocked it, but she grabbed Amber's leg, shocking her. Simultaneously, Meu swept Amber's other leg, upsetting her balance and catching a punch with her free arm that Amber threw out of desperation.

In one quick motion, Meu tossed Amber right over her shoulder and sent her up to the ceiling.
W-What? She's so good! Amber thought as she stared right at the ceiling. I can tell she's not trying in the slightest!
She descended to the floor, bouncing several times on the dojo grounds.
"Are you worrying about destroying the dojo?" Meu questioned as Amber slowly stood up. "My dojo is very strong, so don't hold back. I'll retaliate, too."
"Alright," Amber replied. Oh no.
Amber rushed at Meu with a brighter surge of light around her. With every attack she threw out, Amber created large wind gusts and flashes of light in the room. The air pressure was so great that it caused heavy rustling in the leaves of the cherry blossom trees, shook the armor stands, and even caused swords to fall from the wall fixtures. This all occurred throughout the large dojo.
While the inanimate objects were affected, Meu remained steadfast and kept blocking and weaving Amber's strikes. The wind gusts from Amber's attacks only caused Meu's hair and clothing to blow wildly and was unaffected by the light.
Hmm, even though I told her not to hold back, my decorations are being affected. Meu pondered as she glimpsed at the rustling cherry blossom trees and falling swords. No, don't focus on that. Your student is the priority right now.
Upon seeing an opening, Meu performed a blinding fast palm strike to Amber's abdomen. No sooner had she performed the palm strike than Meu retracted her arm. Amber staggered while excessively coughing after taking that blow.
Meu immediately grabbed and placed Amber in the same arm and wristlock. The execution of the lock was the same as before but executed on Amber's other arm.
"GGRRAAAHHH!!!" Amber screamed in pain. It was clear that Meu applied far more force, judging by the intensity of Amber's scream. Amid pressuring her arm with the joint locks, Meu noticed Amber charging up a gleaming ball of light in her free arm.
Before she could fire, though, Meu immediately tossed her away and caused her to crash into the dojo walls. This sent a tremor throughout the whole dojo.
"Urgh!" Amber groaned.
I'm starting to understand the level of strength that she has achieved thus far. Meu pondered as she stared at Amber and smiled. She might be one of the stronger students that I've had.
Amber mustered her strength and stood before her master to spar again. Meu's smile became even more apparent after seeing her student's determination.
Her blow was so powerful. I'm even strengthening my body as much as I can. Amber thought. I guess my skill is lacking, but no time for excuses!
"Good, Amber. I'm glad you can keep standing," Meu said as Amber charged at her. Although she tried with all her might, Amber could not land any hits.
Meu countered a miss from her with a quick palm strike, but Amber managed to reach and block it with her forearm.
"Ugh!" Amber uttered while feeling the impact although blocking it. Amber could not hope to counter as Meu instantly smacked away her guard.
Wha-- Amber couldn't even finish her thought, nor could she recover from getting her guard broken, as Meu instantly lifted her right leg. Meu executed multiple high kicks, all targeted at Amber's face and chest, in quick succession without putting her leg down.
Each strike produced ear-splitting bangs. After performing the combo, Amber was blasted right through the dojo doors, causing them to fly open, and sent through multiple dense and large rock formations on the mountain.
"Ouch..." Amber uttered as she lay in the rubble. Her jaw was bruised from the strike, and Amber was tuckered out from the sparring.
Yeah, I can see it. My student has an immense amount of potential! Meu pondered as she stood in the dojo. I'll put my all into helping her. I want to see the fruit that will bear!
