While Amber fought with Harvey, things shifted over to Kreuger, who found himself in the dead end.

"What's the point of a path if it leads to a damn dead end!" Kreuger angrily questioned. I can't believe I joined the military for an easier chance to find and kill Jack, but I'm here, stuck in the dead end of a mafia base! This can't get any worse!

"Kreuger?" The Queen Deathbringer's voice was audible as she approached Kreuger. He gazed at her with a side eye before sighing.

"Oh, perfect, it got worse," Kreuger commented.

"Huh?"

"How did you get here? Didn't we take different paths?" Kreuger inquired.

"I suppose the paths connected," The super soldier assumed. "Must have been a way for the mafia to throw off its enemies."

"...Well, as you can see, love, this is a dead end," Kreuger stated. "Now we'll have to run back--"

BOOM!

Explosion sounds were audible beyond the walls, interrupting Kreuger's suggestion. Immediately, he placed his head on the wall, attempting to hear the commotion.

He could hear the muffled sounds of explosions, bangs, and even anger-filled conversations.

"It seems there's a fight beside us," The Queen Deathbringer remarked. "By the time we run back, it might be too late."

"Yeah, are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Kreuger asked as he took his Bloodbath blades from his coat.

"Yeah, let's do it quickly then," The super soldier responded as she clenched her fist.

BOOM!

With a swing of his blade and a powerful straight punch, they created a massive hole in the wall, thus inviting themselves to Harvey and Amber's battle.

Back to the present, Harvey tried striking the Queen Deathbringer in her face while she held his wrist. She caught his arm even though it was enhanced by wind pressure.

"How--Ugh!" Harvey uttered as the super soldier delivered a palm strike, which sent him straight into the wall above transonic speeds.

Upon impact, he violently coughed up blood.

Ugh...dammit! I was just about to kill Amber! Harvey thought as he clenched his stomach. His frustrated face and furrowed eyebrows made it clear that he was in excruciating pain.

"Not bad, Amber," Kreuger said. "You lasted this long against the mafia boss, even injured him severely. Nice."

Hearing that, Amber smiled.

"Hehe...so you finally approved me," Amber teased weakly due to her injuries. In response, Kreuger's expression became straight-faced.

"Let's just hurry this up, super soldier," Kreuger stated as he walked towards Harvey. "Amber's injuries are pretty critical."

"Right--"

WHOOSH!

Before the Queen Deathbringer could rush Harvey, a bright, large fireball soared toward her. She reacted quickly and avoided it and noticed the cause to be Amelia, who just arrived on the scene.

"What the hell are you guys...doing to my brother!?" Amelia angrily questioned.

Amelia and Harvey gazed at each other and felt a searing pain seeing how injured they were.

"...Go take care of that woman," Kreuger said to the Queen Deathbringer. "I'll handle this one."

"Sure."

"...Can you still fight, Amelia," Harvey asked.

"What do you take me for, brother? Of course!" Amelia confidently confirmed before sending several slashes towards the Queen Deathbringer. With an alert look, the super soldier avoided it before charging towards her opponent.

Harvey simultaneously created blackened clouds in his hands like he did against Amber.

"Hmm?" Kreuger muttered with a curious expression. Suddenly, a streak of lightning soared from the clouds towards Kreuger. Much to Harvey's bewilderment, Kreuger sidestepped it much faster than Harvey could register.

What!? Did he dodge lightning!? Harvey thought with widened eyes. I couldn't see him move!

"Wow, that was fast," Kreuger stated. "It was right for me to fight you instead of the super soldier."

"Tsk, shut up!" Harvey yelled as he fired more lightning strikes at Kreuger but to no avail. Kreuger weaved and sidestepped the strikes with a smirk as he closed in on Harvey.

To Kreuger's confusion, Harvey suddenly stopped firing. Harvey then began to hyperventilate before coughing up large amounts of blood.

"Harvey!?" Amelia uttered while she fought the Queen Deathbringer. It was evident that Amelia had landed slashes on the super soldier, but they were superficial wounds, as she only sustained small cuts.

Damn it! Even though I can concentrate on this one person, I can't cut her to shreds! How is she so tough!? Amelia thought. And Harvey won't be able to last much longer. I have to find a way for us to escape!

Should I get serious? The super soldier thought. Well, that's not necessary, considering how injured she already is.

Back to Kreuger, he was watching Harvey coughing up blood.

"What? You done already?" Kreuger questioned. "Does that lightning attack take a toll on your stamina or something?"

"Shut...up..." Harvey muttered as he violently coughed.

Simultaneously, Amelia rushed towards a mound of heavily melting ice (due to her previous fire attack) and picked it up.

"What are you doing now?" The super soldier asked.

With her orange, vibrant flames, she engulfed the ice. Her flames quickly changed from orange to blue which shocked everyone.

Is she mixing it? The Queen Deathbringer wondered. I do remember Chief Barry saying she could do something like that.

"A good chef knows how to utilize any ingredient for a perfect dish!" Amelia stated as her immediate surroundings began to freeze.

That's not normal flames. The super soldier thought. It's cold, like frostbite...

The Queen Deathbringer shifted her gaze to the severely injured Amber in response. Amelia then launched off a large burst of frosty flames, flash-freezing a large portion of the area instantaneously.

When the flames cleared, it revealed that the Queen Deathbringer had stood in front of Amber to protect her from the attack. The super soldier's body was covered heavily in ice and suffered frostbite.

"Miss...Deathbringer!" Amber uttered with visible concern.

"Brother, lend me an ingredient!" Amelia suddenly requested as she stretched her hand towards Harvey. He immediately understood what she meant as he mustered his strength and fired a lightning bolt at his sister.

After striking her arm, the lightning started to circulate Amelia's body. She then activated her bright orange flames to use both plasma energies in tandem.

In a blazing, lightning-filled streak, Amelia moved towards Kreuger - faster than Amber and the super soldier could see. Kreuger watched her closing in on him, and a smile formed on his face.

His skin complexion suddenly developed a red hue, implying that he was hardening his body with his blood blessing. With all of her strength and enhanced by her electrical flames, Amelia delivered a strike to Kreuger's chest.

The force of her strike launched Kreuger right into the walls, blasting him right through.

"Kreuger!" Amber called out with even greater concern.

Without wasting any time, Amelia rushed up to her brother and grabbed him.

"C'mon, brother! We're leaving!" Amelia declared. Harvey nodded his head as he was too injured to speak. I hope Theodore and Luna are on the outside too...

So she can mix different elements and powers like ingredients in a dish, huh? Kreuger pondered as he stood up from the rubble he was in. He had sustained decent bruises on his body, even coughing up blood, but nothing too serious. Haha, I felt that one!

"Where do you think you're going?" The Queen Deathbringer questioned as she ran towards them.

Right as Amelia was about to escape with Harvey, a loud, yelling voice surprised everyone. The voice shouted one thing, "AMBER!!!!"

An enraged Theodore rushed towards his most hated individual, Amber. It was obvious that he was running purely on adrenaline due to the extensive injuries.

"The...odore!" Amber uttered with a surprised expression. Not...now... I can barely move!

"I'LL KILL YOU, YA SLAG!"

Tsk, another enemy! The Queen Deathbringer thought as she turned back to Amber.

"B-Brother--" Amelia called out but was cut off by the sight of Kreuger appearing in the way of Theodore and Amber. In one clean motion, Kreuger sliced Theodore's neck. His neck began inflammating and swelling with lumps before his throat burst apart. Blood splattered from Theodore as he fell to the ground.

Seeing this, immense distraught covered the faces of Theodore's two siblings, who attempted to escape.

"Last time that wanker, Altius, stopped me from killing ya, mate," Kreuger said as he coldly gazed at Theodore, who was choking on his blood. "Well...not this time."

"THEODORE!!!" Amelia yelled with a mixture of anger and despair. She was about to charge at the group but was stopped by Harvey.

"We have...to...escape..." Harvey muttered. As if considering her brother's eyes, Amelia paused and closed her eyes.

"We have to stop the others," The super soldier suggested.

"Oh yea--"

Suddenly, Amelia unleashed a large burst of flames which created a wall between both groups of enemies. This stopped the Queen Deathbringer in her tracks. Amelia then rushed towards the steel door with Harvey.

Harvey's right...we have to escape. We can't beat them now, so we have to escape... Amelia thought. She gazed back at the wall of flames with an expression of pure rage. Tears also ran down her face. We have to escape to make these bastards pay...

After making her resolve in that moment, Amelia pulled the door open and rushed through at blinding speeds.

Meanwhile, Kreuger and the gang stared at the flame wall.

"Well, it looks like this was a distraction," Kreuger assumed. "They probably got away. So, I guess that's that."

The Queen Deathbringer gave him a side eye in response to his casual demeanor.

"Is...that...so," Amber stated as she began swaying more and more. Her adrenaline faded away along with the shining energy of her blessing as Amber fell unconscious. Before she could hit the ground, Kreuger caught her and held her in a princess carry.

"Well, well...looks like you finally hit your limit, love,"
