In the streets of England, military personnel patrolled. Due to the threat of Jack in the country, this would have become a normal response by the state. Similar to when the United States was under constant surveillance, the citizens of England seemed distressed by the personnel.
The seriousness of the situation was so dire that the Deathbringer super soldier group participated in surveillance.
"Hmm...are you guys sure this is a good idea?" Shadowgun asked.
"What do you mean?" The Queen Deathbringer questioned.
"Isn't Jack a serious threat to even the blessed hunters?" Shadowgun continued. "Wouldn't he be strong enough to kill these soldiers effortlessly?"
"Yeah, it'll just end up like what happened to the US soldiers," Claw added.
"Yeah, but there are also people called 'blessed humans' or whatever surveilling the country," The Queen said. "The chief of defense told me that they're supposed to be on the level of super soldiers."
"Hmm...just 'super soldiers?' Is that enough?" Shadowgun wondered. "Is that enough for criminals that turned over an entire country? Don't you think we'd need something higher than that?"
"Mhmm, but Rebecca isn't ready yet...so we just have to do our job for now," The Queen stated.

Inside a standard office, Barry Alexander sat around a desk. Like guests, Kreuger and Ryzen sat in seats on the other side of the office desk.
"Ah, now we have some privacy to continue this conversation," Barry said. "Could you tell me about you and Jack Knight being assassins and your apparent...personal vendetta towards him?"
"Tch, you say privacy, but why the hell is this guy here?" Kreuger asked as he pointed at Ryzen.
"Oh, don't mind me," Ryzen responded.
"Tch...whatever...I'll explain then," Kreuger continued.
If what he says is true, then this information will be useful... Barry thought.
"Just like many others, Jack and I were brought in from a young age by our master to become students of a secret group called the 'Idaten Nightfall Clan'." As Kreuger revealed that information, Barry's eyes widened with surprise.
What? This country? Jack lived in this country from a young age!? Barry thought.
"What's wrong?" Kreuger asked as he noticed Barry's expression.
"N-Nothing..." Barry responded as he regained his composure. "Who was your master?"
"Well, he never told us his full name, but he based the clan's name on his first name - Idaten," Kreuger replied. "He was a...brutal master, as while he educated us...he mainly brought us up in combat. We learned not only a mixture of martial arts but also our main tools for assassinations, bladed weapons."
"I see."
"He brutally trained us to kill efficiently. Not to mention, he wanted us strong enough to utilize a power he gave to his students, including myself." Kreuger continued.
A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.
"A power? What is the power?" Barry asked.
"The master based the power off his name, 'Idaten Blessing'... it's the reason why Jack moves so fast," Kreuger explained. "I inherited it from the master, too."
"So that's the reason for his super speed, huh?" Barry said as he rubbed his chin. "I understand your association with Jack, but you haven't explained your hatred."
"Heh, well, we were all trained only to kill...we never had the chance to question whether it was right or wrong. But while the master was heartless towards his students, I considered them as brothers and sisters." Kreuger explained. "We developed a bond with each other...but Jack...destroyed that all." He said as he began to clench his fist in anger. "For his sick pleasure...he killed over four thousand of his fellow clan mates! That is why I hate him....that is why I must kill him!"
Silence filled the room in response to Kreuger's rising anger.
Strangely, I've never heard of this clan. Barry thought. But if his words are valid, investigations on this Idaten individual are in order. Jack is the main priority now, though.
"Ahem, I understand your hatred now," Barry remarked as he broke the silence. "Jack is without morals or conduct...from what we know, the only thing he cares about is killing."
"...To eliminate that bugger, you'd need me," Kreuger reiterated. "I fought him a few days ago, right before you became aware of his presence in the country, mate. In terms of speed, I'm faster than him, but he somehow has regeneration."
"You fought him... never mind. You said he has regeneration? Is that a part of the power you inherited?" Barry questioned.
"No, he has another power. I don't know what it is, though." Kreuger replied. "With that said, however, you will let me help you eliminate him, right? Also, I won't be prosecuted for admitting to assassinations, right?"
"...There isn't much evidence other than word of mouth. Besides, as you said, you were forced to do the killings...from a young age," Barry responded. "Also, before I accept your request, I need to ensure you are as strong as you claim. Jack is a big threat, after all."
"Oh? Why don't you let me fight him?" Ryzen suddenly asked. "Just a simple sparring match to test his strength."
"Hmm, I don't see why not," Barry agreed.
"...Whatever...let's just get this over with."

The scenery strangely changed to the massacre Jack created upon Amber's family, specifically from her point of view.
In her POV, her father had already succumbed to the burning flames, and her brother had already minced to pieces. With his sadistic grin, Jack was preparing to kill the mother as well. He raised his knife and was ready to murder her.
"Our God...will save you from this somehow...Amber," The mother assured. "And don't forget...we will always...love y--"
Jack brought down his knife, and simultaneously, the horrible scenery changed to what seemed to be a ceiling.
Waking up in an infirmary bed, Amber stared at the ceiling. Tears ran down her eyes onto the bed.
That dream again...
"Where...am I...?" Amber wondered as she sat up. While observing herself, Amber noticed that her body was cleaned of the mud, sweat, and dirt she accumulated in the course.
"Oh, you're up!" A female voice suddenly said, which garnered Amber's attention. Judging by the military combat uniform she wore, with a white lab coat on the outside, this lady was a medical professional - that was the impression that Amber got.
"W-Where am I...?" Amber asked.
"Well, after you fainted from exhaustion, you were brought here to rest," The woman responded. "I'm glad to see that you're awake now. You woke up much earlier than I thought. I expected you to miss the day with the level of exhaustion."
I wonder who brought me here. Amber thought. I wonder if it was Ariel?
"Thank you, but...where's everyone?" Amber asked.
"Ah, yes...they have begun their training now." The woman responded, which caused Amber's brows to rise.
"What!?"
"I take it you don't want to relax anymore?"
"No, I can't slack off...not now!" Amber replied.
"Well, if you rush, you could make it." The woman advised, and simultaneously, Amber hopped out of the bed.
"Thank you again!" Amber said.
"Wait, you have to get changed in your uniform, ya know." The woman advised.
"My uniform--Oh, yeah," Amber said after realizing she was about to run out in a patient's gown.
