Now that they have completed their mission (mostly), Kreuger and the Queen Deathbringer journeyed to depart the underground base.
On their way out, they ran into the unconscious Altius. Their eyes shifted to the numerous mafia associates who were knocked out cold by him, along with Luna, who didn't wake up yet.
"Hey, you still alive?" Kreuger said as he kneeled in front of Altius. Kreuger was carrying the unconscious Amber on his back.
His eyes fluttered open before he suddenly sat up.
"Ugh, I fell unconscious..." Altius muttered while holding his head. He then noticed Amber and the extensive injuries she had sustained. "Tsk, damn it...I knew something like this would happen to you, Amber!"
"Nah, you shouldn't get angry or scold her," Kreuger said. "She's not a bad fighter, considering who she went up against."
Of course, you wouldn't understand. You were raised as an assassin from a young age...
Altius shifted his gaze to the enemies he had dealt with when his eyes suddenly widened. He realized something - Theodore was missing.
"Damn it! Where did Theodore go!?" Altius questioned with an alarmed expression as he stood up. "Because I lost consciousness, he escaped!"
"Ah, so that's what happened," Kreuger remarked.
"Huh?"
"So Theodore hated Amber so much that he disregarded killing you while you were knocked out to go straight for her," Kreuger assumed. "But, don't worry, mate. I killed him."
"Y-You did?"
"He did, but Harvey and Amelia escaped," The Queen Deathbringer confirmed. "They are very injured, so they probably haven't gone far."
"...Let us return to base. The mission to destroy the London mafia, although not completely, has been a success," Altius commented as he limped towards the path to return. "Amber needs treatment."
Agreeing with his words, Kreuger and The Queen Deathbringer followed...not before the super soldier grabbed one of the most important persons - Luna Dexter.

They returned to the mansion's interior, only to see their fellow (non-blessed) soldiers placing the mafia soldiers that Ryzen defeated in detainment, while Ryzen was relaxing on a couch.
"Hmm? Oh, you guys are done?" Ryzen questioned after noticing them.
"What the hell were you doing lazing around!?" Kreuger angrily inquired. "Some help you are!"
"I figured you guys would be fine on your own. And from the looks of it, I'm right," Ryzen shamelessly responded.
"Tsk!"
"Also, Trixie retreated earlier with Aiden. He had some pretty nasty burns and injuries," Ryzen added. "He'll live, with some pretty nasty scars though."
"...I see," Altius said. Even though they're adults, those two suffered more than their instructors. How perfect...
"Enough talking. I gotta take Amber back too," Kreuger said as he departed the mansion. On the other hand, Ryzen fixed his gaze upon the unconscious Amber.
Well, well. It looks like you've grown again, Amber. Your soul has become even more radiant. Ryzen thought. It's only a matter of time until you become 'enlightened,' and I bet Jack will force that out.
The British soldiers properly searched both the mansion and the secret underground tunnel to capture the remaining (and unconscious) soldiers and mark the end of the thorn known as the mafia.

While order has been partially regained in England with the mafia's collapse, chaos still reigned in the streets of the US.
The developer's game characters were still at large, especially Jack.
"NO, PLEASE! I HAVE A FAMILY!" The desperate pleas of a young man were heard in an alleyway, darkened by the moonlight.
You could be reading stolen content. Head to Royal Road for the genuine story.
The reason for his pleas was clear, as before the man was Jack. The man could only crawl to the end of the alleyway while Jack slowly crept up on him.
"Ha! If you have a family, then tell me where they live, mate!" Jack taunted. "So I can kill them too!"
Hearing his wicked taunt, the man realized nothing could save him, and so he held his head down, awaiting his inevitable death.
In response, Jack's smile turned to a soured expression.
"Haha...this became pretty boring, mate," Jack said. He suddenly stomped the guy's head into the alleyway wall, crushing his skull beneath his boot and painting the wall with his blood and brain matter.
"Haha, killing buggers is still fun, but something is missing from it," Jack said as he scraped the brain matter under his boots on the deceased individual's body before leaning on the wall. I can't rampage on Ada and her crew cause of the developer protecting her and Nathan's talking forever to attack England. It's annoying.
"After experiencing something as fun as taking the lives of so many people at once in that super soldier war, I'm finding it hard to control myself," Jack said as he gripped his face and sighed audibly. "Maybe I should just go to England myself and complete that mission of the developer."
"I think that's a good idea, Jack," The developer responded as he approached Jack, garnering his attention. "What could stop you from going there solo? Not Nathan, I'm sure."
"Oh? I thought you didn't want me to 'let loose.' Isn't that why you broke me out of Alcatraz in the first place?" Jack questioned. "To be a cooperating 'game character,' or whatever?"
"Heh, this is different. You can let loose as much as you want in that country. My other game characters will have to help you anyway," The developer explained.
"Ha, me letting loose...I like the sound of that!" Jack said with an excited look.
"I think I'll come with you," The developer added. "I want to see the individual a certain god blessed."
"As long as I get to spread as much suffering and death, then fair play," Jack said.
"Heh, out of all my game characters, you have the best mindset, Jack," The developer commended. You likely have what it takes to break your limits.
"Aw, shucks. I try my best."
"Anyways, we can go two days from now," The developer suggested.
"Sure."
"Alright, see you then," The developer said before departing.
Ah, I can let loose. The last time I heard those words was from Master Idaten. Jack thought as he looked at the darkened sky with an excited grin.

The next day began in the Enlightenment Program's infirmary. Inside an infirmary room was the nearly full-body bandaged, sleeping Amber.
The shining sunlight that pierced the windows shone into Amber's face, causing her to wake up in the process.
"This place again," Amber commented. So many trips to the infirmary...
Snore...
Amber heard the slight snores of someone. The source was revealed as she noticed Ariel sitting on a chair and resting her head at the foot of Amber's bed.
"Ariel? Did you stay here with me?" Amber questioned before smiling. Hehe, thank you.
She then felt a sharp pain in her mangled arm, courtesy of Harvey.
"Ouch!" Amber uttered. It was wrapped in a cast so Amber couldn't view the extent of the injury, but it was hurting far less than before, and she could move it. Wow, it's already feeling much better...
"Amber? You're awake?" Ariel questioned as she awoke.
"Oh, good morning!"
"Wow, you woke up so quickly!" Ariel remarked with a happy expression. "The doctors said you would have taken at least a week to wake up! I was so worried when I saw you yesterday!"
"A week!?" Amber uttered in shock. I guess I woke up early because of my god. Thank you for helping me.
"What about everyone else? How did things turn out?" Amber asked with concern.
"Well, because of your help, you guys completed the mission. Everyone apart from Harvey and Amelia was dealt with. The military also ceased control of casinos, pubs, and other mafia-owned industries. They won't be a problem for the foreseeable future," Ariel explained. "However, it did come at a cost."
"What do you mean?"
"It may be hard for you to hear this, but several soldiers lost their lives in the mission," Ariel continued. Amber's demeanor turned to one of sorrow as Ariel explained. "Plus, Sergeant Altius and Aiden suffered serious injuries, with Aiden potentially being permanently scarred..."
"I...I see," Amber muttered as she held her head down.
"Don't be sad, Amber. You all fought for civilians to live in peace," Ariel said in an attempt to comfort Amber. "Everyone fought well, even the ones that lost their lives."
"I-I know that! It's unfair that anyone has to die because of hedonistic people!" Amber yelled as she clenched her fists in frustration. "And because of my weakness, Aiden might be permanently scarred...even though he protected me from that hitman..."
Suddenly, Ariel placed her hand on Amber's clenched fist in a soothing manner.
"Don't beat yourself up, Amber...it's not your fault," Ariel said calmly. "Aiden wouldn't want you to act like this, either."
"You're...right," Amber agreed in a strained voice. She proceeded to place her arms in a prayer gesture.
"Dear God, to all my comrades that unfortunately passed on, let them rest in peace, knowing that they completed their work," Amber prayed. "And even to Theodore. I hope he finds repentance somehow, even after death. May he too rest in peace when he finds forgiveness."
"You're praying for Theodore too?" Ariel questioned.
"Yes. It's unfortunate that anyone had to die, even Theodore," Amber explained. Hearing that, Ariel couldn't help but smile.
You are such a saint. It's almost mind-boggling.
"Anyways, I have to return to my original condition fast," Amber said.
"Yeah, that's true. I heard the Chief saying something about the job not being over," Ariel said. "He's probably talking about that..."
"Yeah, Jack...the demon," Amber responded. The one person I'll never forgive!
