33-Nightmare
"Alright, I murmured to myself, 'I need to stay calm,' and began to contemplate.
According to the Ancient One, returning to the world would take thousands of years, but I don't have a thousand years.
Using telekinesis, I could greatly increase my speed, and if I shrink the meteor, it could be even faster.
Deciding to shrink the meteor, I placed my hands on it. Since I was in space, the air was very cold; thus, it took five minutes for the meteor to start melting.
Separating the molten pieces from the meteor, I continued on my way. Three hours later, I finished shrinking the meteor. What used to be the size of a building was now only my height and shaped like a bed.
I had plenty of time, so I chose to give the meteor the shape of a bed. I lay down and waited. Yes, I waited because I had nothing else to do right now.
'I wonder what Gwen is doing?' I said to myself."

Gwen(pov)
A few hours ago, Brooklyn.
Miles and I swiftly left the factory, leaving Derek behind. As soon as we stepped outside, the ground shook, and the factory walls began to crumble.
I watched anxiously as the factory collapsed. Miles put his hand on my shoulder and said, 'Don't worry, Derek will be okay.'
His words eased my mind a bit. I held Miles' hand and said, 'Thank you.' I never thought he would help when he saw that the masked man was Derek.
'Why?' I asked as we moved across the rooftops.
'My brother killed your father, why are you helping him?' I added.
After a moment of thought, Miles said, 'I don't know, I'm just doing what I believe is right.'
His words warmed my heart a bit. 'Thank you,' I said in a low voice.
When we were about fifty meters away from the factory, we heard someone screaming, a scream that the whole city heard.
'I AM RAGNARÖK!!.'
This voice echoed throughout the city like thunder. As hoarse as the voice was, I knew it belonged to Derek.
Thinking that he was in trouble, I headed back to the factory, but before I could advance ten meters, the sky reddened, and the earth erupted in flames.
If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
The focal point of the flames was the factory. When they hit the ground, it felt like an earthquake, and a dust cloud spread around. Despite wearing my mask, I could feel the heat that came with the dust cloud.
Instinctively, I covered my face with my arms to protect myself from the dust. 'What is this?' Miles said, and I understood why when I pulled my arms away. The flames had destroyed the factory and were rapidly growing.
Seeing this scene increased my anxiety. I don't know if Derek caused this attack or if someone else did, but both possibilities are very bad.
'We need to help people,' I said, and quickly headed towards the explosion. Miles nodded and followed me.
As we approached the explosion, it was so hot that breathing was difficult. The blast was rapidly growing, so we had to be quick. We rescued as many people as we could until the explosion ended, but I can say that many people died in this blast.
When the explosion finally subsided, I looked at the devastation in front of me. It wasn't exactly wreckage because there was nothing but burnt ground in front of me.
Even though the explosion had ended, the surroundings were still incredibly hot. I was very worried about Derek, so I went to the former location of the factory without caring about the heat, but there was no one there.
My heart tightened when I saw this scene. Too many people had died, and on top of that, my brother was missing. At that moment, Miles came to me and said, "Nothing is certain; your brother might have escaped."
I knew these words were just to comfort me. No one could have escaped that explosion, not even my brother. Tears streamed down my face, and I cried with sobs. My father lay unconscious in the hospital, and my brother was nowhere to be found. I didn't want to think about these things.
When Miles saw me crying, he approached me and hesitated before hugging me.
After hugging Miles and crying for a few seconds, I let go of him, and we left together. I had experienced a lot today, so I went home. Miles went to check if anyone around needed his help.
I went home, sat on the couch, and waited quietly. I still couldn't believe Derek had disappeared. My eyes started to water, and just as I was about to cry, a yellow portal opened in the middle of the living room, and a bald woman in yellow clothes emerged.
"Gwen Stacy?" the woman said.
I didn't feel any threat from her, so I lowered my guard a bit.
"Yes, who are you?" I asked.
"I am the guardian of this world, and people call me the Ancient One. I came here to tell you what happened to Derek," she said.
When I heard this, a glimmer of hope lit up in my heart. The woman in front of me had suddenly appeared, but I wanted to believe her. The woman, seeing my gaze, began to speak.
"I'll be straightforward. Your brother is not from this universe, and he is very dangerous for this world," the woman said.
I didn't understand anything when I heard her words. The woman, seeing my puzzled look, spoke again.
"In no other universe or dimension do you have a brother named Derek Stacy. Derek does not belong to this world, and you know very well that he is very dangerous," she said.
When I heard these words, I furrowed my brows. Derek had been an older brother to me since I was born, raising and taking care of me. Clearly, I didn't believe this woman.
"What have you done to Derek?" I asked, clenching my fists.
Woman, clenched fist, but she didn't react.
"I didn't kill him; he's now on a meteor in the depths of space. It will take him thousands of years to get here," the woman said.
Upon hearing this, I felt a sense of relief. I didn't know how true the woman's words were, but I hoped Derek was alive.
Whether from another universe or another world, Derek was my brother, and he wasn't a bad person.
Seeing my skeptical look, the woman waved her hand and said, "I'll show you."
As the woman waved her hand, the surroundings changed, turning into the factory where Derek was fighting Kraven.
"What is this?" I asked.
"A scene from the past," the woman said.
The scene depicted what happened after Miles and I left. When we were gone, Derek's body started to burn, undergoing a rapid transformation.
Derek transformed into a creature I never thought could be real. With a gesture, he demolished the factory walls, pulled a sword from his chest, and thrust it into the ground, unleashing chaos.
"These are not real!" I exclaimed. Tears streamed from my eyes, and I didn't want to believe what I was seeing.
"Believe it or not, it's up to you, but know this: If your brother returns one day, you're the only one who can restrain him," she said, creating a portal and entering it. As the woman entered the portal, it closed, leaving me alone in the living room.
With many thoughts swirling in my head, I sat on the couch and closed my eyes. I wished everything that happened today was a nightmare. I wanted Derek to wake me up and say "good morning," but these weren't just a nightmare.
