In a forest filled with dense trees, a girl was running with all her might. As she ran, she frequently looked back to check if someone was following her.
After approximately an hour of running, the girl took cover behind a tree to catch her breath.
Just an hour ago, the girl had witnessed a massacre. Feeling in great danger, she had fled, leaving her younger brother behind.
The girl and her brother possessed superpowers and were kidnapped by terrorists at a young age.
The terrorist group had forced them to obey orders through violence. The girl was mute, and her brother, despite having superpowers, was too afraid to escape from the terrorists.
The girl sat down and leaned against a thick tree. Exhaustion started to take its toll on her as she looked up at the dark sky, urging her to fall asleep.
Just as she was about to close her eyes and drift off to sleep, a chained knife cleaved the tree she leaned on and the surrounding trees in two.
If the girl hadn't been sitting down, her head would have been split in two along with the trees. When she looked ahead, she saw the man who had slaughtered the terrorist group.
The man held large knives in his hands with chains attached to the handles, extending from his wrists to his elbows.
The man smiled and said something, but the girl couldn't understand the language he spoke.

"Finally found you," I said, looking at the girl in front of me.
The girl was faster than I had anticipated and had led me on quite a chase. My running speed was lacking when factoring in my power and reflexes. This would improve in the future, but for now, it was an issue.
Honestly, this girl piqued my curiosity. The man I had killed at the camp had a high regeneration factor, but his physical attributes were the same as a regular human.
From what I could gather from the girl's running speed, her physical attributes far exceeded those of a normal human.
I intended to test the girl's strength, so I transformed the knives in my hands into maces.
Seeing this, the girl lowered her guard a bit. I took advantage of this and lunged at her, catching her waist and bringing her to the ground.
As she lay on the ground, I sat on top of her and delivered a punch to her face. It wasn't a full-force punch, but it was stronger than what a regular human could deliver.
When the punch connected with the girl, she merely flinched, quickly recovering and pushing me off of her.
She got up, glaring at me with anger. After a few seconds of staring at each other, she was the first to attack. She closed in on me swiftly, trying to claw at my face like a wild animal.

I didn't stop her attack and was curious about the damage she would inflict. When her nails made contact with my face, I felt a slight pain.
As a result of her nails, a small scratch appeared on my face. I was disappointed when I saw that. I thought this girl might give me a challenge, but it seemed killing her was only slightly more difficult than killing regular humans.
The girl looked at me in surprise, likely thinking that her nails could inflict some damage.
I threw a powerful right cross at the girl, causing her to drop to one knee. Then, I grabbed her by the arm and threw her into the air with all my strength.
When the girl reached a height of five meters, the chain tattoos on my arms shifted into the chaos knives.
I hurled the knives, and the chains extended as the first knife sliced the girl in half at the waist. The second knife followed swiftly, cutting the girl into four pieces.
Before the girl even hit the ground, I pulled the chaos knives back to me, transforming them back into tattoos.
When I had dismembered the girl into four pieces, a system notification appeared before me.
[Congratulations, you have successfully completed your first hunt.
Time remaining to determine your next hunt: 7 days.]
This system notification left me somewhat disappointed. Initially, I thought I could complete this task within a few days, but it seemed the system was preventing that.
I found myself in a forest with no knowledge of my path. While waiting for my next hunt to be determined, I decided to spend some time in the Marvel Universe.
As I contemplated this, my body began to disintegrate, starting from my fingers. Although I had done this before, I felt uneasy involuntarily.
When I opened my eyes again, I was in my room, and it was 4 in the morning. I fell asleep without lifting my head from the pillow.
In the morning, I was awakened by Gwen, who was going to school, and I dressed in pants and a shirt before walking to the restaurant run by Frank.
"Gwen, I'm at the big restaurant in the west. If you're hungry, you can come with your friends," I told her and left the house.
My dad would leave an hour after us, so he was still asleep. When I left the house, a black Mercedes was waiting for me in front of the door.
This morning, I had told Aaron that I would also attend the meeting, and he picked me up with a car.
The car was driven by one of the gang members, and he was quite respectful toward me. I told him to drive to the western restaurant, and he did so.
When we arrived at the restaurant, I got out of the car, and a waiter came to take my order. They brought me the meals I ordered about ten minutes later.
Frank, upon learning that I was there, came out of his office and joined me at my table, and we ate together.
I had four hours that I could waste, so I asked Frank to tell me his life story.
Actually, when I heard Frank's life story, I was quite surprised. That was because Frank came from a wealthy family.
When I asked him why he had formed a gang, he said, "I wanted to prove to my family that I could do something without them."
While conversing with Frank, four hours quickly passed. I went to the headquarters of the Skulls gang with Frank.
When we got there, all the gang members were already assembled. I explained to them how the new leadership worked (Chapter 11).
The gang members were very surprised to hear the new rules. Until now, they had mostly worked in small-scale gangs and had never been involved in such a large organization.
I told Aaron to handle everything today and to buy at least 50% of the businesses in Brooklyn within a week.
Buying the businesses wouldn't financially burden us because we wouldn't buy them at their original prices.
We were a major gang, and we could threaten those who didn't sell to us and block others from going to their businesses.
If the shop owner was a bit smart, they would agree to sell their shop to us. The most troublesome part of this business was the police.
The gang had just grown significantly and wasn't fully organized yet. So, I told Aaron to handle everything today.
Dealing with the police would be much easier once the gang was fully organized; I just needed to make one of them a scapegoat by killing a cop.
A gang covering all of Brooklyn was something the police couldn't meddle with. Our members would grow stronger day by day, and their numbers would increase exponentially.
After the meeting, Frank and I returned to the restaurant. Right now, all we could do was wait.
Gwen sent me a message saying she and her friends were coming to have dinner. Seeing this, I left the office upstairs to greet them.
Miles and Sophia were with Gwen. Gwen and Sophia had been friends since middle school.
After ordering dinner for them, I arranged for a car to take them home.
Initially, Gwen was suspicious, but I told her I had a high position here.
The day passed quickly, and it became night. Aaron told me that the arrangements were done, and the only thing left was to purchase the businesses in Brooklyn.
During this time, all we could do was wait, and that's exactly what I did.
