31-Ragnarök
I crashed into the wall behind me without even understanding what was happening. When I looked at my chest, there was a long spear lodged into it. The spear had harmed my heart, so my head was spinning, and I couldn't breathe.
Kraven had thrown the spear at me. Right now, he was looking at me with a big smile on his face.
"Look who we have here," Kraven said.
---
Gwen, who had overcome the shock of the incident, quickly got up and went to Miles. She didn't know why the spear was suspended in the air and didn't care. Neither of them could interfere in the battle between Kraven and the Masked Man.
---
When I heard Kraven's words, I tried to swear at him, but as I attempted to speak, I coughed up blood. The adrenaline had faded, and the pain in my chest had intensified. I glared angrily at Kraven, clenching my teeth and reaching my hands towards him.
Just as I was about to lift him with Telekinesis, the spear impaled in my chest glowed and emitted lightning all around. The lightning penetrated my body, causing me to groan in pain.
My already damaged heart suffered even more due to the lightning. When my eyes darkened, the last thing I saw was Kraven walking towards me.
As my eyes closed, I felt someone lifting me by the spear in my chest. Even though my eyes were closed, I could barely hear the sounds around me.

Gwen lifted Miles off the ground and was about to leave when Miles said, "Stop!"
Curious about why Miles wasn't moving, Gwen turned to him.
With a serious expression on his face, Miles watched as Kraven's masked man was lifted. This masked man had killed Miles' father, so Miles wanted to watch his death.
"Miles, now's not the time for this," Gwen said in a hushed voice.
"I need to see this," Miles replied, determination in his eyes.
Reluctantly, Gwen exhaled and watched this scene with Miles. Kraven lifted the masked man and grabbed him by the throat.
There was still a smile on Kraven's face. He had come here to kill this man, and he had achieved his goal. Kraven curiously attempted to remove the man's mask by holding onto it.
Surprisingly, the mask seemed to be stuck to the man's face. Seeing this, Kraven used all his strength to pull the mask. After some effort, the mask on the man's face cracked and shattered on the ground.
Gwen and Miles watched in shock as they saw the face beneath the mask.
"Derek," Gwen murmured. It wasn't evident due to the mask on his face, but Gwen was shocked.
The person who had founded this gang, caused the hunters to come to the city, and even killed Miles' father was his own brother.
Initially, she wiped her eyes, thinking she might be mistaken, but what she saw didn't change. Kraven was holding Derek by the neck, and Derek's eyes were closed.
Even Miles, who was also in shock after witnessing this scene, was very surprised. Gwen didn't know her brother very well, but from their conversations, she understood that he was a good person.
While they were in shock, Kraven saw that Derek didn't open his eyes and threw him. Gwen rushed forward and reached Derek, ready to pull the spear from his chest.
"Don't pull it! It could cause more harm," Miles said.

Miles was in a great shock, but he still wanted to help Gwen. Derek had killed his father, but there had to be a reason for it, or at least that's what Miles wanted to believe.
Gwen nodded when she heard his words, and she gently cradled Derek's head, placing it on her lap.
"Derek! Hey, wake up!"
"Derek!"
"Please, don't leave me," she said.
Tears were falling onto Derek's face by the end of her words. Kraven watched this scene with a mixture of pity on his face.
---
I was in infinite darkness, but I could hear and feel what was happening around me. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't open my eyes.
In the infinite darkness, red branches reached out and grabbed me by the leg. I tried to escape the branches, but I couldn't. As the branches spread over my body, all I could do was wait.
"So, this is how I'm going to die. At least Gwen is alive," I muttered to myself.
"I didn't make good use of my second chance," I added.
Just when I had given up on everything, I heard someone calling out to me. At first, it sounded very distant, but it got closer as time passed.
"Derek!"
"Please wake up!"
"Don't leave me!"
It was when I first heard this voice that I realized it was Gwen's.
"What am I doing?"
I asked myself this question. This chance wouldn't come to me again, and I had given up too early.
"No!"
I said and struggled to free my arms from the branches. I hadn't taken my revenge on the man who had caused my father's death, and I wasn't going to leave my brother alone again.
An unlimited rage built up within me. I could feel my physical strength increasing as the anger grew.
"Let go of me. I refuse to die!" I said and, by spreading my hands apart, caused the red branches holding me to break. Then, I cleared all the branches from my body.
As I cleared the branches, my vision slowly returned. When I opened my eyes, I was met with a crying Gwen, and behind her, Miles was looking at me with some hesitation.
As far as I could tell, I was lying on Gwen's lap. Seeing her in this state only fueled my anger, and my eyes began to glow with a crimson intensity.
Gwen noticed when I opened my eyes, she shouted, "Derek!" and hugged me, lifting me slightly. There was still a spear in my chest, and it was causing excruciating pain.
When I looked forward, I saw Kraven watching us. The look of pain on Kraven's face turned into shock when he realized I had awakened.
I raised my hand, pushed Gwen away by gripping her shoulder, and said, "Go away from here."
"What are you talking about? I'm not leaving you!" Gwen said. She had already removed her mask, and her dried tears were visible on her face.
"I told you to go, Gwen," I said firmly. My anger had become uncontrollable, and my eyes had turned completely red.
Seeing Gwen's hesitant expression, Miles put his hand on her shoulder and said, "Let's go. If we stay here, we'll be in his way."
Reluctantly, Gwen stood up when she heard that.
"Promise me you'll come back!" she said, looking at me.
"I'll definitely come back," I said with a smile on my face.
When Gwen and Miles walked away, Kraven spoke.
"What a dramatic speech," he said. The smile on his face only fueled my anger.
"You should have never come to this city!" I said and placed my hand on the spear in my chest. When my hand made contact with the spear, it melted and turned into magma.
In the factory, there were only Kraven, me, and around eighty hunters. When Gwen and Miles left, I unleashed my anger.
My arms began to burn, and fire rapidly spread across my entire body, burning my clothes. I transformed into a fiery giant in front of Kraven and the hunters' astonished gazes.
Surprisingly, Kraven had a smile on his face when he saw what I had become.
"You're going to be my final prey," he muttered to himself.
My anger had grown so much that I didn't pay attention to those words. I raised my hand to my chest, drew my sword, and lifted it into the air with my left hand. This action made the ground shake, and the factory walls began to crumble.
Seeing this, Kraven wasted no time and launched an attack on me. He approached and threw a punch, but when his fist hit my body, it was as if my body was made of gelatin.
I waved my hand slightly, and Kraven rapidly flew in the direction he had come from, crashing into the wall. The impact left his back numb.
"What are you?" he asked. The smile on his face had disappeared.
I gripped the hilt of my sword with both hands and raised it into the air.
"I am Ragnarök!" I declared and thrust my sword into the ground with all my might. My voice spread throughout the city like lightning.
When my sword struck the ground, the sky reddened, and it sent forth a column of flames down to the earth. The radius of this flame column was fifty meters, and it covered the entire factory.
The flame column struck the ground right where I was. Upon contact, it rapidly expanded, obliterating everything it touched. When the factory was gone, the flame column didn't stop and continued to spread.
People outside the factory who witnessed this scene turned and ran with all their might.
Everyone fled, but not all of them could escape. The slower ones fell victim to the flames, leaving only their ashes behind.
The flame column in the sky continued for about ten seconds and caused the death of approximately twenty thousand people.
When I felt exhausted, I pulled my sword out of the ground, and as I did, the flame column vanished as if it had never existed.
This attack was currently my limit. When it was over, I felt the anger within me dissipate. I raised my head and looked around. I was surrounded by scorched earth and airborne ash, with nothing else in sight.
The burnt ground extended for about two hundred meters.
"I wonder how many lives I've taken," I asked myself. Despite my cold heart, I still felt remorse for them.
"You've caused the death of quite a few people, and you've crossed the line!" a woman's voice said from behind me. When I heard that voice, it felt like my world was shattering as if it were a mirror breaking.
