25-New Template
When I chose my new template, I felt a chill in my heart. This coldness quickly rose and suffocated me. I fell to one knee, groaning in pain.
The cold stayed in my heart for about half an hour before subsiding. In fact, I had grown accustomed to it, so its lessening was more of a relief.
I still felt the coldness in my heart and struggled to breathe a little, but it no longer caused pain.
After the pain in my heart subsided, I felt a great heat all over my body. This was much more painful than the freezing of my heart, and it made me fall to the ground in agony.
It was as if my blood and internal organs were boiling, and about ten minutes later, my skin began to burn. I tried to put out the burning flames on me, but they didn't extinguish. The fire was scorching my skin, melting it, and this process was much more painful and lasted much longer than before.
After a full hour of burning, the fire finally went out. My skin looked somewhat rough, and I was sure that my defenses had at least doubled. My physical strength had improved.
As I attempted to stand up, my brain received information. These details covered what my template was and how to use my abilities. After the information about my template was etched into my brain, I received information about swordsmanship.
The information was so detailed that it felt like I had been using a sword for a thousand years. Once the information was complete, I stood up and used the newly acquired sword.
A long sword tattoo appeared on my chest. The hilt extended to my chin, and the tip of the sword went slightly below my belly button.
I brought my hand close to my chest and used the tattoo. When a sword hilt emerged from where my heart was, I grabbed it and pulled it out.
The sword was two meters long from end to end, and its thickness was ten centimeters. It was much longer than me, so I looked quite comical holding it.
The sword was entirely black and had large cracks that appeared as if magma flowed inside.
I examined its sharpness by running my finger along one of its edges. What surprised me was that the sword didn't cut my finger.
*Do my weapons not damage me?* I thought, then threw the long sword in my hand toward a nearby rock. When the sword hit the rock, it shattered it into pieces. Considering my physical strength and the sword I held, it should have easily cut the rock in half.
I wondered why the sword was blunt, so I opened the system window and looked at the sword's details.

When I looked at the details of the sword, I saw what the issue was. If I wanted to use this sword, I needed to be in the Fire Deva form. I had many new abilities, and I knew how to use them.
I raised my hand with my palm facing upward. Flames appeared on my hand and rapidly spread to cover my entire arm under my control.
The flames didn't harm me; in fact, they were soothing. I picked up one of the stone pieces in front of me and directed the flames toward it. The flames burned the stone, and after five minutes, the stone started to melt.
As the stone melted, it transformed into magma and flowed downward from my palm. I touched the magma and guided it towards my hand, then reshaped it to form a stone again.
My magma control wasn't very useful in battles unless there was magma around, but it was highly effective for melting things.
I looked around and, after observing for a while, approached a sturdy broken stone column. It had remained intact even after the explosion.
When I placed my hand on the stone column, it only took ten seconds for the stone to turn red and become fluid. This fluidity rapidly grew, covering the entire stone column. The magma moved under my control and gathered together to form a magma pool.
I looked at this scene with a big smile on my face. With these abilities, my attacks would be much more effective.
To test my next ability, I sat down and focused. This ability required concentration.
Ten seconds later, starting from my hands, my entire body turned into ashes. In this state, I could think and move freely. After floating in the air for a bit, I landed on the ground. The ashes in the air merged and reformed into my body.
While using my abilities, I noticed something. When in a human body, my abilities could only generate limited power. According to the information in my mind, I should be able to turn specific parts of my body into steam and ash using these abilities.
I didn't dwell on it and used my last ability. The small stones around me flew into the air and circled around me under my control.
I turned towards John on the ground and pointed my hand at him. John slowly rose into the air and flew towards me. My telekinesis power was currently only strong enough to lift a person, but it would increase as I strengthened the template.
I lowered John to the ground. There was one more ability left to try, and this ability was connected to all the other abilities. When I used this ability, my arms started to burn, and the fire quickly spread throughout my body.
As the fire consumed me, I felt my body change. My clothes burned away, my height increased to 250 centimeters, and my skin turned into ash-colored stone. This ash-colored stone had large cracks with magma running behind them.
Stone formations resembling a beard appeared on my face. These stones had moss on them. Gold metals resembling my skeleton formed on my head and abdomen.
The color of my eyes turned a bright red. There were more magma cracks on my arms and legs compared to other parts of my body.
The final change was the opening of the area where my heart was located. My skin opened, revealing my heart. My heart was blue and beating rapidly, giving off a cold breeze with each beat.
The transformation was somewhat painful but didn't affect me much. It only took three seconds, and the flames that had burned me entered my body.

When my transformation was complete, I first looked at my hands and then at my body. It felt as though I had been using this body for a long time, and it didn't feel foreign at all.
After the transformation, just by standing still, I was radiating an incredible amount of heat around me. The ground I stepped on turned to ashes, and the stones I held melted.
I observed a significant change in the way I used my powers in this form. My powers were at least ten times stronger when I used them in this state.
I lifted my foot and slammed it into the ground with all my strength. The ground shook, and a burst of magma surged from underground towards where I was looking. This attack had no range; I could use it anywhere I could see.
I could easily turn any part of my body into steam and ash in this form, and I was much faster this way.
I rapidly transformed my body into ash and flew away from John. When I landed, the ashes gathered and reformed into my body.
I raised my right hand into the air and concentrated the fire within me into my fingers. After completing this process, I snapped my fingers. As soon as I did, a massive explosion of fire erupted in the center where I was standing. The explosion rapidly advanced, burning a fifty-meter radius.
I looked at the devastation around me with a big smile on my face. With just a snap of my fingers, I had demolished all the buildings within a fifty-meter radius. This power was overwhelmingly strong, and I was just at the beginning of my journey.
To measure my telekinesis power, I raised my hands and tried to lift the fallen buildings around me. The destroyed buildings cracked and rose about ten meters into the air under my control. More buildings flew under my command. When I reached my limit, I stopped lifting new buildings and made the ones already in the air form a circle around me.
The debris accelerated and swirled like a tornado. I was at the center of this tornado, looking at it happily. I felt like something was missing in this tornado, and by controlling the fire, I made the tornado spin along with it. I created a twenty-meter tall tornado made of fire and debris.
I stopped the tornado and made the stone fragments fly around. All the stone pieces fell to the ground, and then I raised my left hand towards the right side of my chest. As I did, a sword hilt appeared.
I drew the hilt and revealed a two-meter-long sword. When I held it, the magma cracks on the sword gleamed. I examined the sword closely and saw that the magma inside it was moving as if it were alive. An instinct in me told me to plunge the sword into the ground and channel all my fire into it, but I didn't do that.
I pointed the sword forward and let some fire flow into it. Flames shot out from the tip of the sword, traveling about fifty meters. When I swung the sword, a crescent-shaped burst of fiery energy extended in front of it, slicing through everything in its path.
After testing all my powers, I transformed back into the human form. My body was set ablaze again and returned to its previous form. This process was quite comfortable and painless.
I used the tattoos on my hand and summoned the Chaos Blades. Before returning to John, there was one more thing I needed to test. While holding the Chaos Blades, I channeled fire into them. Not surprisingly, the blades rapidly absorbed all the fire. As they absorbed the fire, the red inscriptions on them began to glow and eventually burned out.
I looked at the burning and glowing Chaos Blades in my hands. "It seems I can charge the blades using my flames," I said. After saying this, I turned into steam and returned to John's side.
